Why do you come to /biz/?
Every so often, amidst the piles of shit, you find a real opportunity. A project
with an actual use case. An overlooked opportunity.
Here is one such project.
It's called Upfire. A platform that is re-envisioning torrenting. Previously,
there has been no incentive to seed files, most seeders were people that simply
forgot to press "Stop" after they downloaded a file. Upfire monetizes seeding,
reimbursing seeders for providing storage space and bandwidth.
Upfire's market cap is currently sitting around ~4mm, the only competitive
project in torrenting is BTT, which has a comparative market cap of ~2b.
Upfire's DApp is cleaner than BitTorrent. It has a better logo, an arguably
better name, and a better use case.
To put it lightly, it is incredibly undervalued. It could easily 500x to be on
par with BTT. The team is still ironing out some kinks. The roadmap includes
things like: adding staking, governance (treasury wallets can be used by the
community to improve the project), and entering into potential partnerships with
sites like thePirateBay.
You're lucky you stumbled on this thread tonight. Perhaps you had too much to
drink during Thanksgiving, and while mindlessly scrolling through the catalog,
you've stumbled upon something that could potentially change your life forever.
