tldr; Shiba Inu (SHIB) has reached a new milestone with its holder count on Ethereum surpassing 1.4 million. The cryptocurrency has formed new support clusters to stabilize its price against potential market downturns. Recently, SHIB experienced a 5.2% increase in value, coinciding with Bitcoin's rise to $65K. The support clusters range from $0.000008 to $0.000019, with a significant number of holders in profit at this range. Despite challenges, SHIB remains popular, particularly on Binance, where it accounts for over 20% of trades. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. Memes are a utility. The people are the utility. Look at Facebook. Its worth so much due to its utility of connecting people to people. The power of advertising to them. Take SHIB for example, now layer on the next chapter! KENDU INU The alpha is undeniable. Followed by Shiba dev, Shytoshi, and created by OG Shiba holders. All organic. Started at $3k MC, touched $11M, now at $5M. Verify Shytoshi following the Kendu main Twitter. Why would he follow a low cap meme token?

So, $DOGE has a better chance than $SHIB?

Mentions:#DOGE#SHIB

It's true, most memecoins are a gamble. But sometimes you gotta take a chance. DOGE, SHIB and WIF are classics, ROCK actually has a pretty cool community and some interesting project ideas. POPCAT and LMEOW is good once cat memecoins picks up the steam. Memecoins can be fun, but let's be honest, most are long shots. Don't fall for the hype too much. That being said, a little memecoin fun never hurt anyone as long as you keep it reasonable.

Are you trying to say that SHIB is NOT going to $1? I'm heartbroken.

I see a lot of solid projects below Doge/WIF/SHIB/PEPE...

That's a fair point and I give you credit for the insight. IMO the perspective should be it's possible but is it probable? What is going to make SUI,SEI an outlier that aligns with Solana's unique rise versus the vast majority fate of VC coins. It's a bit of apples and oranges, but it's a bit like buying a promising shitcoin and thinking it's going to be the next DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, etc. Yes, the chance is there you'll hit but more than likely going big into those promising shitcoins leaves you broke. Like I said, a bit apples and oranges. I thought about going and looking at the full unlock solana schedule since it launched 4/2020 but I didn't delve too much into the details. It looks like 2021 is when the majority unlocked? 3 years ago. Not to mention the massive dump that you have had to hold through in late 2022 when it got down to 5-7 dollars. The market at the time and the FTX debacle contributing of course.

500K into SHIB wouldn't of been possible in 2017.

The only shitcoin I put money into was SHIB after they started and got out with some gains halfway down from ATH. To me shitcoins are the equivalent of lottery tickets. A few lucky win, 99% lose.

Mentions:#SHIB#ATH

I'm new but my strategy is just DCA the top 3 (BTC, ETH, SOL) and throw spare change at more volatile coins (DOGE, SHIB, or whatever) and staking JUP (I try to also "pay" myself whenever I decide to ~~gamble~~ invest in crypto by putting some money in a high apy savings account.)

It's garbage (as an investment). Just copypasting my last comment on this topic: "Litecoin had a niche that got severely marginalized by new L1's. Simple as that. It's like asking why digital cameras aren't popular anymore." >It is odd to me that coins like Solana, xrp, Toncoin, Tron, shibe inu, chainlink, near protocol, internet computer have higher market caps. Why would that be odd? Isn't LTC slower than all of them? LTC is also a much more siloed ecosystem, whereas most smart contract platforms have bridges which provide access to further liquidity and assets. And besides XRP and SHIB, all of them also offer utility beyond just payments. Before someone responds with "but muh decentralization and fair launch and 13 years of uptime!": My response to that: https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1btk50w/daily_crypto_discussion_april_2_2024_gmt0/kxqdf1l/

Cashing out is up to you. If you have doubled your money, and you are satisfied with that, then cash out. If you want to sell the top, then fib extensions can give you an idea where to sell. You can also use marketcap. For example, many people are hopeful that SHIB will be 1 cent soon. For that to happen, it will have to overtake BTC in marketcap. I think you can understand what a ridiculous expectation that is! There is a website called MarketCapOf. You can compare eg, SOL marketcap to ETH. So if SOL were to get to MC of ETH, its price would be around $1000. This can give you an idea where to start selling. Also, the crypto market works in 4 year cycles. The peak of the current cycle is apparent around May next year (or so the top traders say). So you could look to start selling just before then. You could of course, hold everything till you are 60 and then cash out for retirement, but like the top traders keep reminding us "you wont get poor taking profits". So at some point, you should at least cash out your initial investment as there is no guarantee that these "solid projects" will be around forever (look at LUNA).

He means buy BTC. I have been through 3 bull runs and I can confidently say just go with BTC and ETH. If you want to meme coin, buy SHIB

I usually start the rally with this and cycle profits into smaller caps as we move on. Last rally Sandbox and Decentraland were 1% of my portfolio and ended up becoming almost 50% of it by late 2022. Killer growth. Also bought $500 of SHIB super early and sold it for 2x, could have actually made 50k off that alone lol. Once you start making good money nothing wrong with a little gambling, long as you know what you're actually buying which is total garbage 😂

Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are better holds than most coins this subs has shilled. Last 6M performance vs BTC/USD: SOL: +338% SHIB: +54% DOGE: +20% ADA: -20% ALGO: -25% LTC: -50% XMR: -64% XRP: -71% This trend has been going on for 8 years. The best memes outperform your bags. Second point would be just buy BTC if you don't know shit

I’m in a similar situation but with far more coins and I suspect with more funds but that’s not that important. I started in crypto to get a very amount for a good deposit on a beach house. I’m fully expecting to sell a vast majority to implement my goal in the next Bull peak, which I anticipate is 15 -18 months out. I’ve zero BTC or ETH but I have DOT and SHIB, both of which are up. My thoughts are, regarding BTC & ETH that there’s not a huge upside from here, ~3X being my estimate or guess, if you like. Therefore, if you’re up, you might want to consider changing these out for other “potential” coins that will do more than 5X from here. However, you’re certainly a holding the two safest coins so a lot will depend on your risk appetite at this point. Just the musings of a random internet stranger and definitely not FA.

Shibarium is an advanced blockchain platform that was specifically designed to enhance the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency ecosystem. It represents a strategic evolution in Shiba Inu’s development, aiming to provide a more efficient, scalable, and user-friendly blockchain experience. As a layer 2 solution, Shibarium operates atop the existing Ethereum blockchain, intending to streamline transaction speeds and reduce costs, issues often encountered in conventional blockchain systems. This innovation is poised to bolster Shiba Inu’s functionality and utility, marking a pivotal step in its journey beyond the realm of meme-based digital currencies. Shibarium’s introduction reflects a commitment to continuous growth and adaptation within the ever-evolving landscape of digital assets. The primary goal of Shibarium is to address the key pain points that have historically hindered Ethereum’s full potential. This includes the infamous gas fees that often deter users from engaging in transactions and the frustratingly sluggish confirmation times. Shibarium, by design, offers a remedy to these issues by presenting a more scalable and cost-effective platform for transactions. As a result, users can experience faster transaction processing and significantly reduced fees, these conditions redefining the user experience and bolstering Ethereum’s usability. Shibarium introduced a groundbreaking approach to enhance blockchain scalability and efficiency through its layer 2 solution. Layer 2 solutions are built atop existing blockchain networks to amplify speed and capacity. Built on Ethereum’s foundation, Shibarium operates off the Ethereum main chain, which considerably eases the network load and results in quicker transaction processing and reduced fees. There are several Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, and it can be quite a hassle to figure out which one does what. Here’s a brief rundown of the network’s cryptocurrencies and their functions: SHIB is the native token of the ecosystem, and the most famous one. It is used for payments and will be burned after Shibarium transactions. BONE tokens are used for governance within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. This governance token is also used for gas payments (transaction fees) on Shibarium, doubling as a utility token. TREAT is a token that serves multiple purposes in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, including but not limited to providing liquidity to the SHI Stablecoin, replacing BONE as the reward token for ShibSwap, and more. LEASH tokens are held by Shiba Inu VIPs and give them access to extra benefits. LEASH was originally intended to be a rebase token.

#Dogecoin Pro-Arguments Below is a Dogecoin pro-argument written by Laughingboy14. > Dogecoin is known as the OG memecoin. This might not sound like the most grandiose of titles, but it does carry weight. Since Doge's inception, countless other meme coins have followed in Doge's footsteps (or pawsteps), including SHIB, Banano and DogelonMars. Whenever these coins receive attention, they are inevitably compared to Doge (in a similar way to how new non-meme coins are often compared to Bitcoin/Ethereum). This creates ever more visibility and demand for Doge, as it is seen as the Bitcoin of meme coins. > > Additionally, Doge coin has had serious adoption. To name just a few places one can spend Doge coin, you can spend the meme coin at the Dallas Mavericks, ExpressVPN, Ledger, and airBaltic. That is more adoption than most serious coins. This sort of adoption, and potential for more adoption in the future, makes Doge coin a great investment. > > Finally, memes. The ability to create memes about a coin, without it seeming forced, is a non-trivial marketing tool. One can easily create extra traction and visibility for Doge, allowing Doge to welcome in new investors with ease. Often, other coins try this technique, but it seems insincere and a little on the nose. The ability to meme about a coin, especially in the social media age, is a feature that separates Doge from the rest of the pack. ***** Would you like to learn more? Can we just start ignoring all SHIB posts 😂

I probably will get downvoted but f it. SHIB. Why? - I never thought that a meme like DOGE could reach 1 cent when I first see it in the first bull and now look at it, it will probably reach a dollar. - based on the retail investors, they are way more emotional and don’t care about technology, we saw how good projects create and disappear, so it’s not about “tech”, it’s just about greed and money making. - New generations are “stup*d”. They prefer to have a million of “tokens” with a dream that in some future it will hit a dollar so they will become a millionaire, rather than get idk 10 random tokens of the top 50 crypto. TLDR the believe that 1M tokens will reach a dollar is more plausible than 10 tokens hitting 100k$ per token. We can add in the mix that really 99% of this sub don’t care about tech and even not know what was the initial idea behind BTC creation, at the end of the day we all want money so we can buy a house or a fancy car, there is no sense of “investment” per se. If you really want to invest long term you will go to the stocks market. Let’s the downvotes begin

The problem with memecoins on BASE is the same as the problem with memecoins on other chains. If they aren't rugs, they probably have VC and open at high marketcaps, overbought, and with bad wallet distribution. Low marketcaps that have room for growth, on the other hand, are usually very new (and usually rugs). Coons like Shiba and WIF are pretty rare. I don't think BASE has a dominant dogcoins yet, surprisingly. Doginme maybe? When I was searching around I found an eth project called LINU that is starting a BASE bridge soon. It's a SHIB clone and its maintained a modestly high marketcaps for a few months now, so it's *probably* not a rug. dyor though

I agree, I did more research and it seems like whales are going into SHIB for reasons I don't see! I might get rid of DOT. What do you think of DOT?

Mentions:#SHIB#DOT

I just invested in ETH! Not sure about BNB though, not convinced about them. As for the tracking every crypto. I probably will only track the top 4 of my portfolio which are now BTC, ETH, SOL & LINK. The others are just pure speculation and hopefully they work out in the near future. I think the AI tokens will do well, maybe ill get rid of SHIB & DOT.

I have PEPE, LADYS, BONK, ELON and SHIB. Definitely trying to stack up PEPE and SHIB especially.

Oh I'm sure you are. Just like the people who think BTC is a scam are laughing at you just the same. Memecoins are a proven concept. Look at DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, WIF, and a bunch of others. It's like people who think Travis Scott makes dogshit music and classic rock is *real* music. I don't disagree with that sentiment, but as fucking dumb as I might think it is, there's no denying it appeals to enough people and it prints money for the guy and those who got behind him early on.

Oh guys, we need to talk. I gave you the most based and valuable shill this daily had in ages. I suggested you buy APU, the newest meme coin, when mcap was under 20 million. I got downvoted to oblivion. Now the first CEX listing is here and we already hit 100 million briefly. This thing is pulling a PEPE or SHIB. Yet you guys are still sleeping on it. It’s not too late to get a decent 30X-100X. MEXC listing is in the next hour. Just trying to help reddit frens make it.

This is just anecdotal, but recently at Easter my brother in laws (who were heavy into things like DOGE, ADA, DOT, etc) were chatting with me about crypto. Both of them said they felt too burned to buy anything during this past bear market but might consider getting back in during the next bear market. They felt now is too late since Bitcoin passed its ATH, and said they didn't want to lose money at the top again. Now, to us, we might be saying "it's not the top yet, we haven't even had the halving." But others don't care. They see the DOGE and SHIB they bought during May 2021 lose 80-90% value and sold it all at a loss. They had their wives tell them "no more risky shit" and instead doubled their 401k contributions and are saving for vacations to Mexico with their family. People are scared this time and I can't blame them.

I mean really I’m amazed it’s actually at $0.0004… Man, I really wish my SHIB bag could hit that price point!! 😩

No, but they do have futures on Crypto.com. I don’t have an account at Kraken, but I have at all of the others we mentioned. I think I heard Coinbase is adding futures as well. I really liked Kucoin, but it was pretty obvious they were shady. I had an account with just my NY phone number. It was my early SHIB and XRP exchange. My crypto on/off ramp is Robinhood.

Aviator $AVI is currently reaching the end of its consolidation phase after the initial crazy run up, their bridge audit results from Hacken are coming back most likely tomorrow, the bridge will be live in April. I've called this thing since the 1m range on reddit it's currently sitting at 37mil. The upside is huge. Apart from the bridge they're also releasing their "Aviator Arcade", a web3 gaming platform that will be free to host, game to earn, indie dev friendly, AI-game dev friendly. Some of the team are ex SHIB members, they have some serious skin in the game bringing a project to 40b+ mcap. They have deep connections all over the place and they know what they're doing. If you have any questions at all they will happily answer you in the discord or tg, they are very active with the community. The team paid for the Hacken audit themselves out of pocket, to not dump/use tokens on the community. It wasn't cheap either, Hacked is the best of the best in the space, they audited Binance. You can literally see my post history I've called this gem for a long time, around the 1m range or even earlier I can't remember cus I don't use reddit that often. Even though im not that active on reddit I really hope some of you didn't fade it. It's still not too late as it's only sitting at 37mil mc. Do a deep research of your own and make a decision, but with the release of the bridge that will shake up the whole space and move everyone over to Base, it will take off with or without you. The first youtuber ever started talking about us the other day and that will just snowball further. He has 1.7mil subs btw. This coin has only been known on 4chan for the past 8 months and it's getting some serious traction now. Getting some early Link vibes. And it's all organic, the tg kicks bots and inactive accounts, there has been no real marketing (which is about to change with the release of the bridge, they have a great marketing team ready). When crypto-twitter finally wakes up it will be game over. **Like I said, do your own research,** **the chart speaks for itself go take a look if you don't believe me**. Just don't forget where you heard about it first. This thing will dwarf Gala games' returns from last cycle.

Currently it's only available on Uniswap, they have a large tier CEX in sight for the near future though. Some of the team are ex SHIB, they have some good connections from previous project listings, this right here is their passion project.

I will make an effort and go through the links: 1) This post accuses CDC of an imminent rug bc of a likeness to another product (specifically crypto credit cards). Meanwhile, today, almost every exchange offers cards in some shape or form. I guess all of the other companies offering cards are also scamming. Kris Marszalek also answers the criticism directly under the post and explains the differences between the two products (namely, the whole exchange side of things). [https://np.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6dbkui/scam\_warning\_monaco\_ico/](https://np.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6dbkui/scam_warning_monaco_ico/) 2) The second link, I assume (it has since been deleted), accused CDC of scamming because they advertised heavily. I do not understand why an advertisement would be a red flag; neither did the post expand on this. The post received 22 upvotes. Meanwhile, the most upvoted comment with 200 upvotes calls out the OP, stating, "Please provide more than just inflammatory opinion." Also, CDC clearly was not a scam. It is still here despite this post from 4 years ago, after surviving a bank run and a multi-year bear market. [https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/6cfw8y/warning\_monaco\_scammers\_aggressively\_advertising/](https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/6cfw8y/warning_monaco_scammers_aggressively_advertising/) 3) The third link is a comment being discontent about the MCO conversion to CRO, which is a fair opinion. But it has been since discussed why Monaco was open to potential litigation while CRO is more detached from the CEX and thus less sus. You can disagree with this assessment, but that is your own subjective value judgment. [https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/79zyye/seems\_like\_mco\_token\_is\_now\_dead\_sad\_story/](https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/79zyye/seems_like_mco_token_is_now_dead_sad_story/) 4) This link accused the CDC of possible scamming in the future bc some card issuer making crypto cards went under or stopped business? Idk the whole post is weird. Only 3-4 sentences concern [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com), making assumptions (mentioning Bitconnect and that Satoshi Nakamoto would not like crypto card ICOs). Retrospectively, it was clearly wrong. CDC did not rug; it is still here with a large user base that transacts with their cards all around the world on a daily basis. [https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/a5b4hz/let\_the\_scams\_flow\_out\_of\_the\_window\_monaco\_and/](https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/a5b4hz/let_the_scams_flow_out_of_the_window_monaco_and/) 5) This link calls CDC a scam bc they listed DOGE and SHIB. I guess you could call this a value judgment based on dislike for meme coins, but not sure why you included it here, supposedly proving CDC is a scam. Does that mean Binance, Kraken, and Coinbase are scamming too bc they list DOGE and SHIB? [https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/nfyhss/fuck\_you\_cryptocom\_for\_preying\_on\_newbies\_in\_this/](https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/nfyhss/fuck_you_cryptocom_for_preying_on_newbies_in_this/) 6) This link is a bit more complex with several points bundled together, alleging scamming bc of: - a supposed delay in the distribution of cards to the US, as they were launching first in SG and progressively in other parts of the world (possible, but not relevant anymore, I assume, with hundreds of thousands of cards out there and millions of users of the CDC App globally); - rebrand to [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) (IMO obviously better name than Monaco... companies rebrand similar to the company from link1 rebranding to Monolith); - MCO conversion (see my comment to link 3); - and the prior business activity of the CEO Kris Marszalek (I will comment on this a bit further below to avoid repeating myself). [https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/biaud9/monaco\_mco\_raised\_26\_million\_in\_ico\_and\_promised/](https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/biaud9/monaco_mco_raised_26_million_in_ico_and_promised/)

Binance launched an investigation but found no evidence of insider trading. The whale claimed the purchase was based on the belief in BOME's potential, comparing it to the success of Shiba Inu (SHIB). Yeah no shit! There’s already many gazillions of WIF this and WIF that variants. Memes from DOGE to SHIB to PEPE and so on, that’s just how it is. Doesn’t matter how serious a project is or not, the majority always love jumping on meme trains. It is what it is.

Next stop, SHIB

$AVI is an awesome coin that was recently mentioned in Brian Jung's newest video. Their SkyBridge comes out within the next week or so (mostly just waiting on a smart contract audit by Hacken), which lets you bridge any ETH token/NFT to Base and back instantly (think trading stuff like $SHIB and $PEPE on Base). They have cool plans after the bridge too, like a web3 steam/newgrounds that lets any indie dev upload their games and both players/devs earn token. It was founded by some ex-Shib devs and they are fully KYC'd, green on dextools, smart contract audited, and a legitimate LLC.

I was about to top up on Solana this afternoon...I got back to the market this evening and I was head in hands after it's price jump. 2 SOL was (in euro) 360...couple of hrs later it was 420. Solana is gonna run the course, maybe pass Ethereum for a little while but if you want to make an investment...Bitcoin will double by 2030 and it's solid. Ethereum, I would see the same and then Solana by 2028-29. Those top 3 for long term and if you want to play with some Memes and smaller tokens in the short term...(SHIB will recover ) COQ, ONDO and SCOTTY but in fairness I started these last 4 for short term and copped they will work better long term. Buy them all and hold them. Spend a few days to watch for the lowest price and jump in. We've a bull run over the next few weeks, Bitcoin halving around April 20th so I'm grabbing more Bitcoin then so maybe hang in there till then. Bitcoin tends to run the trend for all to follow so you should do ok catching the lows. One other thing...I don't know where you are but if in the EU, you will need to find an exchange with a Euro as a trading pair. Normally using a stable coin like USDT is fine, but in June, new regulations will require your trading pair to be Euro or State side, USTD. The exchange platform OKX has EURO as a trading pair right now so if you are in the EU, go there. If not? You can still go there and trade USDT and Revolut is handy on most platforms for low transaction fees "gas fees" Many exchanges have their own coin and if you buy some of those (a required amount) you will pay less transaction fees.

Alternatively, you could try a different narrative and aim for the cat coin market - MEW. There’s a lot of dog coins but the market hasn’t decided on a definitive cat coin yet like there is with SHIB which is a derivative of DOGE

Well, time to go invest short term in SHIB. Made me a few hundred last time.

Firstly, if that $700 is money that is important, I dont think you should invest it into crypto at all. But if you insist on investing it, I think going 1 of 2 routes would work for you. Those routes either are going with 1 specific coin or choosing multiple. It all depends on your risk appetite and goals. If you choose the former, i personally would DCA (dollar cost average) the full $700 into either BTC or ETH. ETH may be the better option in terms of profit, just because it hasnt even touched its all-time highs yet, so there's just much more room to grow. For the ladder, I would prioritize either ETH or BTC, putting $400 (57%) into 1 of those, ETH preferably, then putting $200 into another mid cap thats at least in the top 50, the remaining $100 i would also probably put in a mid cap, but maybe just a riskier one. A few examples for the $200 based on my own personal preference would be NEAR, LINK, AVAX. Cant think of any examples for the $100 but I wouldnt go too crazy with it, I personally dont like memecoins but if you want something risky by all means, go with something like WIF, PEPE, SHIB, idk i dont do memecoins. Take every word I say with a grain of salt, though. I personally dont think you should invest it at all unless you can continue investing without ever needing the money.

Most people don't understand that in some jurisdictions (including OP's), a trade triggers a taxable event. It doesn't have to be a trade to/from fiat. Nor does it have to be "only when I withdraw," as some think. Conversion from one asset to another, including things like DOGE to SHIB, is a taxable event. So in this case, OP lives in a country where selling and then rebuying one specific asset within 30 days means that the capital gain/loss may be deemed not to have occurred. OP does not want to sell assets and then sit by for 30 days before rebuying, in case the market increases significantly during that period. By selling ETH and then buying something which is a direct proxy to ETH (some sort of wrapped ETH), OP remains invested in something that will essentially track the price of real ETH, but won't trigger the rule about having re-purchased within 30 days. After the 30 days are up, OP can sell the wrapped ETH and then purchase real ETH back, if they decide it's worth it. In the meantime, any capital gains/losses from selling the original ETH at a price different than the original purchase price will trigger that capital gain or loss in time to happen just before the end of the current taxation year. So perhaps OP knows that he's going to have to pay for a capital gain, but would rather get some of that out of the way this year rather than dealing with a larger amount in the future. Or maybe OP bought ETH at $4800 and wants to sell a certain amount to trigger a certain amount of capital loss and take advantage of it now, before the tax year ends. That's the short version.

You destroyed yourself by buying SHIB and thinking it can 300x

It will depend on the success of SOL this bull run. If SOL flips ETH, then 100% WIF is flipping SHIB or even DOGE.

I’m really bullish on crypto cause of the halving and spot etf plus the amount of narratives in the space like AI taking off. But I also didn’t hold bags thru the crypto winter so it’s understandable those who did have some PTSD about it. My current crypto port is ETH, as my established large cap SOL ADA FTM ARKM as my utility coins DOGE SHIB as my larger meme coins ELON POOH as my smaller meme coins And then a solana wallet for trading new coins Currently NUB is my front runner which I plan to hold for a while. Everything else has been a flip

There is no "general consensus," everyone has their own micro-strategy with a few different general trends that tie them into groups. DCA people have been stacking chips since 2022 at this point, HODLs DCA too but many maxis don't even care what the price is because they aren't planning to take any profits after the big pump. Some of us are or have been stacking major coins for a while in the hopes that November does what we expect it to do. Some have been holding their bags since the highs in 2021 and just now back in the black. Some people are holding onto NFTs and shit projects because they've lost so much that there's little point even getting out unless they need a 3000$ tax break. There's some general trends, but everyone kinda mixes and matches their own strategy from the above and others. There's also people that think now is the time to invest their life savings (though in the summer of 2022 they kept telling me they would wait for it to dip lower, smh). Personally, I've made some money through the winter on shitcoins. I lost my business and about 10E with it to keep me afloat till I could find a job anywhere b/c nobody local was hiring and the dev hiring market took a crap about the same time (not just in crypto, but across all sectors). Just trying to pad my bags with whatever I can put into big coins and playing some degen games with the rest, and hunting for some more airdrops that I qualify for due to my activities over the last years. Airdrops have made me a good bit of money too. I went from stacking to selling in early 2022 so I made out pretty well at the end of the last bull, and most of my crypto was payment from developer services, so it wasn't so much what I put in but what was left in. I live a pretty humble life in a rural area so there isn't a lot left over to drop in, but at the moment putting in what I can. Using wrapped coins on Polygon DEXs to keep fees low, but the funds are mostly going toward wBTC. I also trying to put up a little yolo stack with SHIB b/c I think the % earnings in the pump will be higher. I have leftover money in a couple of other coins in different markets because they are interesting and for the same reason. I also think RCC is going to see a resurgence at the top so I'm holding a substantial bag of CONE because I love that community. Probably won't pass MOONs but I think they will definitely make up some ground. that's what I'm doing, just thought asking about a general sentiment was a bit odd.

What if I told you those that puppeteer Vitalik are now working with the SEC to classify ETH as a security so that it trades on the NASDAQ? Then, every worldwide traditional finance customer can invest the same way they invest in MSFT or AAPL. I'm not going to tell you that though, I just want to know what you think of that possibility. More likely, Meme coins are a known way to introduce younger generations to Crypto, Blockchain, Web3 and DeFi concepts. it's an onboarding methodology, like the flavored vape of the crypto world. Nobody talks about LINK around the water cooler, but they do talk about COQ, BRETT, DEGEN, MEW, SHIB, BONK those make for more interesting conversation, especially if you are 18 to 30. As an early whale it makes for interesting returns.

I am new to all this. Using Robinhood and didn't have many options. I bought 10 of Bitcoin Cash and just got lucky it hitting 620ish the other day. I did cash out, but only half and then just went ahead and purchased the rest into the 13 others RH offers with priority on DOGE and SHIB. I don't know what I am doing and probably just getting lucky, but I have learned most don't and luck is luck I guess (BTC was to expensive for me to fall in to as not so financially great).

#Shiba Inu Con-Arguments Below is a Shiba Inu con-argument written by Magnetronaap. > #**The Vitalik 'burn' stunt and price dump** > > The SHIB owners are reckless and manipulative revisionists. 'Burning' half the SHIB supply to Vitalik Buterin's wallet was nothing more than a marketing stunt as they had absolutely zero clue what Buterin would do with it. Buterin then decided to donate $1 billion worth to an Indian corona relief fund, leading the SHIB owners to subsequently claim some disgusting moral victory that this was somehow thanks to SHIB. Meanwhile the coin plummeted in value after this event, leading to losses for whomever sold. To this day the SHIB owners gloat that Buterin is 'a friend of SHIB' and that 'SHIB led to that amazing donation', pissing on the graves of all of those who lost money in the wake of that event. Meanwhile they also pretend that the most important thing about SHIB is the community. But apparently the community can go [expletive] themselves if it means the SHIB team can abuse them for some PR stunt. > > #**The 'top secret' roadmap** > > Furthermore, for a coin supposedly centered around it's community, the SHIB team speaks of a 'top secret 2021 Ruffmap with a real budget' that they do not elaborate on. Once more proving that the SHIB team does not care about its community, because if they did this 'Ruffmap' would not be 'top secret' but out in the open for the community to know about. It also leads you to wonder if this 'Ruffmap' is even real or just an empty promise. > > #**Decentralisation issues** > > Another indicator of SHIB's empty speech about community is the [Certik audit page](https://www.certik.org/projects/shib) pointing out that the weakest link of the project is.. decentralisation. #Shiba Inu Pro-Arguments Below is a Shiba Inu pro-argument written by warmbookworm. > There are several pros to Shiba Inu, as we as several common misconceptions about what value is and what makes something valuable that people who write off memecoins like Shib are usually prone to making. > > First of all, the pros: Shiba Inu is the third most searched for cryptocurrency in 2021. It has grown to become one of the top ten cryptocurrencies by marketcap, even surpassing Dogecoin, the first and by far the biggest memecoin since alt coins existed. This is huge because as we've seen with bitcoin, the first mover advantage is huge; no other coin has come close to surpassing bitcoin yet, despite tens of thousands of coins coming to existence in recent years. > > Shiba Inu clearly has one of the largest network effects in the entire industry, which is arguably the most important metric for any crypto. > > You can easily buy Shib on platforms like Webull, so people who are not into crypto can still get in and buy shib, making it far more accessible than all but the largest and most well-known cryptocurrencies. > > Finally, Shib has great branding. The idea of the "Shib Army" and "Shib to 1 cent" (or even a dollar) is incredibly good marketing, because it gives the community a common identity, as well as a goal to work towards. If we take any other crypto, people might like the coin and want it to go up, but there is no singular goal that everyone can point to and talk about. Thus, people are much less likely to contribute towards the development and branding of the coin. > > Secondly, the "shib-lingo", with LEASH and BONE as well as other parts of the shiba inu ecosystem allows for a much more intuitive understanding of crypto for those who find it too challenging to understand and can't be bothered to learn about all of the ins and outs of crypto itself. It is a great gateway for complete beginners to start understanding all of the different crypto terminology in words and concepts they already understand. > > ---------------------------- > > Now in terms of misconceptions regarding value, most people think that you need to have a "use-case" for value. But what is a use-case? Really, a use-case is just a "feature". i.e they think that every coin has to have some special feature or property that other coins don't have in order for it to be valuable. > > This makes sense intuitively, but isn't how things actually work. Just because something has a unique feature doesn't mean that that feature is useful. For example, if you were to take YouTube's source code today and slightly improve the UI, you would have a "superior YouTube", but no one would use it. > > Network effects far outweigh any features in terms of importance. Furthermore, the idea that features have to come *before* value is intuitive, but actually, as we've seen, because of the Shib network being adopted, there are DApps being developed on it, like wallets and exchanges to begin with, and eventually, there will probably be a lot more products and services being built on top of Shib in the future, as long as it continues to hold value. > > Because it isn't just feature that create value. Rather, developers chase after the money. Where there is money, where there are incentives, that's where people will build, and that in itself will grow the ecosystem. > > disclosure: I do not hold any SHIB and never will. ***** Would you like to learn more? This token has evolved beyond meme status, focusing on decentralization with their own DEX ShibaSwap. > > ShibaSwap utilizes the 3 tokens in the ecosystem (SHIB, LEASH, and BONE) to facilitate transactions and provide rewards. ShibaSwap has gone all in on the theme, renaming staple terms to more dog centric names: stake is now bury and provide liquidity is now dig. This helps to immerse users into the ecosystem and provides a unique aspect to those involved. > > Shiba Inu also has an incubator dedicated to "cultivating an enviromnet which encourages creativity and growth." This incubator helps those in the community with their NFT aspirations and is a large part of their decentralization movement. > > SHIB also has a psychological advantage not many coins can replicate. This comes from the fact that their are 1 QUADRILLION coins in circulation. Having that many coins helps SHIB maintain it's low price and allows users to buy massive amounts of coins for a relatively small investment. While this doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things since market cap is what really matters, people are easily swayed by large numbers. > > Looking past the technicals, SHIB is a force to be reckoned with on the community front. Following Dogecoins footsteps, SHIB may have figured out the secret to quick growth and utilization: hype. It doesn't matter how good your product is if no one has heard of you. SHIB has gained a rabid following through the ShibArmy and taking just one look at their subreddit will show you that they have all drank the kool-aid. If they can keep this hype going, SHIB is a meme coin that will stick around for quite some time. > > Others will argue that these meme coins are a negative on the crypto space and only further the idea that this is all fake money, but it is actually the opposite. Hype leads to growing interest which leads to more users in the crypto world. Dogecoin paved the way for meme coins as an entry point for the average person, and Shiba Inu is just the next evolution of that idea. As more users flow into this space and add their fiat into the exchanges, the crypto world as a whole will continue to grow and head towards our ultimate goal of replacing the current financial system. ***** Would you like to learn more? For those who compare BTC vs ETH back then with ETH vs SOL today: don't agree with you. ETH always had legit tech and none of those red flags (hidden investors holding 99% of all coins). BTC maxis simply hated it because it was the first legit competitor and not just a BTC fork. Very different story with SOL today.

The problem (like all things with influencer culture) is that it's a bunch of sheep looking for a leader. Tiktok, smart phones and social media has fried everyone's braincells so the few ones they had in the first place are totally gone, so they have no idea how to research or use their brain any more, so they look for other people to tell them what to do, and what to think. This has created a bunch of vapid manchildren who get fake power from lording it over their Twitter followers, posting their rolexes and flexing their porches so other idiots follow their scams and lose all their money. A real person in crypto is not going to be flexing anything. They are not in the space to buy their mansions or drive around in a Lambo. A real person in crypto is not going to be trying to indoctrinate their coworkers, or telling people to buy SHIB so they can 1000x FIRE lifestyle. Any of those kinds of people are just cancer to the space.

Yeah, I saw that on aero and thought it’s one I might rotate out of a bit with gains to a project that hasn’t run so much. Only one I caught was fet. And missed SHIB rocket bc I sold and spread out. 🤞on gfi! You’ll make a pretty penny on that I think.
