After going crypto-only, Binance(US) tried to partner with Cross River Bank and Customers Bancorp to fix fiat issues but this fell through. They finally succeeded with MoonPay, all well and good, but MoonPay's fees are atrocious. It's way worse than before and even worse than Paypal's.

Thanks for the question, here at Bitget Wallet, security is of utmost importance to us. We employ multiple security checks to ensure the safety of every transaction and interaction. In addition to that, we support MPC and AA wallets, offer hardware wallet compatibility and have conducted audits on Bitget Wallet core codes for swaps and NFT market protocols. Not to mention, Bitget Wallet users are also eligible to share in a $300 million user protection fund with Bitget, enjoying another layer of added security.

Since I'm now realizing i never specified what exactly i was talking about, i'll do that. The whole Ev's cost more energy to use, and large infrastructure changes are true. I'm not arguing that. What i'm arguing is that the amount of carbon we are burning and putting into the atmosphere being bad is absolutely proven science. Because here's the thing it seems like you're ignoring. We need plants and vegetation to consume carbon, right? We are actively destroying almost every natural ecosystem on the entire planet(no, not talking about burning coal or gasoline. Talking about literally ripping it out of the ground through deforestation for land and timber.) Regenerative farming using hemp would solve that, but thanks to real propaganda, not the stuff you're labeling propaganda hemp farming is years behind because it's not even legal everywhere. Yet hemp has a grow cycle of 90 days, and if i remember the numbers right, relatively similar yield to timber thanks to the increase in density available by it being a smaller plant. Also, the storage problem and toxicity problem of batteries has been being tackled by many groups of researchers across the world for quite a while now. The latest theory looking very promising is solid state batteries. That uses a solid catalyst instead of a liquid catalyst, through which they also have seen theoretical huge increases in the lifespan of the batteries because the (fuck what was the term shit) the "cracks" (quotes to just signify i'm doing my best to use terms to explain the image i remember in my head. 20 minutes and a few searches of why batteries dont charge for as long and suffer decreased lifespan after many charge cycles to find out what i'm talking about) that eventually short out the 2 anodes (its either that or cathodes whichever connects to the poles of the battery at either end in for example a AA) because the solid catalyst by being solid has increased durability to that symptom. I believe they are theorizing 100-year charge batteries that could fit in an average power distribution stations, but thats once the technology would be improved upon. They are expecting once they get it working (if they haven't already, I've been sucked into researching other things lately, so new developments may have happened) to have a 25 year battery that can hold a ridiculous amount of charge. Then another development in that sector is a weird phenomenon that is currently being researched by a few small groups of people ( the first thing i saw about it was less than 6 months old, so relatively new finding) where they found using 2 solar panels put straight back to back and mounted vertically had a strangely huge increase in i believe it was in efficiency which would help solve the problem. Now, finally, i have 2 questions for you. Firstly now that I've explained in great detail the new information that's come out over the last few years(excluding the few things i couldn't remember off the top of my head its 3am sue me but i gave you all the info needed to find the info for yourself through a quick google or youtube search). I'd like to see your findings and evidence that form your counterargument. Secondly. One of the point of your argument is, "Why fix what isn't broken and uproot all of society?" Do you realize that's literally what humans have done our whole history? Because what about when we uprooted the ways of old where we used to poop out holes on the side of buildings and have sewage drains alongside our sidewalks in ancient cities. What about when we had to retrofit electricity into all the homes it's been added too. Hell, even just clean running water in general and the invention of water treatment. Why should we have ever invented that when pooping in holes was working just fine. Oh, wait. It wasn't. It caused rampant disease that was forced on poor people because only the "rich" didn't have to clean out outhouses because they could afford to pay someone to do it. Life sure worked, but it didn't work very well before electricity. The amount electricity has improved our lives and the efficiency in which we do things. Especially if we take away all the luxuries of electricity like entertainment. Electricity has helped us revolutionize how we heat and cool our homes. And allowed us light in the darkness that is not only windproof but lasts exponentially longer.

It's a good concept, but I think there are 2 issues preventing this from gaining major traction: 1. EIP-4337 style AA is very expensive. When doing this on the Taiko A6 testnet, it costs 15x as much to transfer WETH using AA than it does natively. 1. This is a completely separate issue from AA and only affects the Loopring wallet. Currently, it costs nearly $200 to activate the Loopring wallet on L1 + L2. Even the $10 it costs to activate the wallet on L2 is expensive.

tldr; Loopring introduces a pioneering Account Abstraction (AA) wallet on Ethereum, aiming to simplify the user experience akin to Web2 while maintaining Web3's decentralized ethos. This wallet utilizes Loopring's Account Abstraction Paymaster Service to offer gas-free transactions, support for multiple pay tokens, and lower fees through a pre-paid Gas Tank feature. It's designed to be interoperable with other AA wallets, enhancing decentralization. The wallet is live on the Taiko A6 testnet, with plans to expand across Ethereum mainnet networks, integrating top DApps for a seamless user experience. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. I think it might be a good idea to take profits already, as we never know how the market will turn. It's great to see your gains. You could consider diversifying your profits into low-cap gems that haven't pumped much, like DUA and HOLD. Both are related to account abstraction, and their AA wallets make me bullish about them.

How so? The GFC story goes as follows: 1. Mortgages are packaged into securities, but it's not clear which mortgages underly the MBS. 2. MBS are given high ratings AAA. 3. MBS are used as collateral in repo transactions and other liquidity transformation activities. 4. Housing market collapses as values were driven by loose underwriting standards - subprime NINJA loans. 5. No one has a clear understanding of what loans underly each MBS security. 6. Price of MBS collapse - step 3 counterparties issue collateral calls and demand immediate repayment. 7. Lehman Bros doesn't have available funds to meet collateral calls as MBS are trading at pennies on the dollars. 8. Lehman bros collapses and because it is interconnected to lots of other financial institutions it creates a cascade of stress and failures. By 2009 the RMBS market had recovered - the high rated (AAA to AA) tranches faced minimal actual losses despite trading for 10 cents on the dollar in 2007. The GFC was ultimately caused by a lack of information - the appeal of smart contracts in investments is that they create public ledger of the details. If investors had known which loans were backing the MBS and whether those loans were in deliquency there never would have been a GFC.

I really enjoyed this post. It is crazy how there are like hidden truths in this world that when you see them you want to tell everybody. Like debasement of fiat and everyone but the elite rich getting robbed of their hard earned money. Like anti-inflammatory diet. Like a spiritual awakening. It feels like we are on the titanic sometimes and they keep the orchestra going. America is a country where the system lets a majority like in misery, what will happen when AI replaces even more jobs? My best bet is studying crypto markets and trying to build a business to be able to keep our family safe through whatever the next decades bring. We are all together in this crazy world. And I hope we manage to build a new better form of decentralized capitalism/democracy eventually where most humans, animals and the planet are healthy, relaxed and doing good. AA is great if it turns out it’s hard to stop smoking. I find that the better we take care of ourselves the more we can help others.

I am intrigued by the concept of account abstraction (AA) and its scope and potential impact in catching the attention of mainstream users and driving up web3 adoption. [AA simplifies entry into web3](https://oasisprotocol.org/blog/web3-account-abstraction) for the web2 users but what clinches the deal, IMO, is how privacy and confidentiality can be interlinked making it interesting and practical. I will draw attention to two other mind-blowing concepts in web3 that are gaining traction. First is the use of [sealed bid auctions](https://oasisprotocol.org/blog/sealed-bid-nft-auctions-privacy-ethereum) to enable confidential auctions on-chain. This can be a game-changer in the NFT and collectible marketplaces and reshape the whole user experience. Second, is a discussion I read recently about [Dark DAOs](https://twitter.com/AriJuels/status/1747621933368119431) and how they can negatively impact fair governance. Confidential voting through secret ballots could be the only way to tackle this issue.

Account abstraction is a whole EIP bit I’ll try to keep it short. AA allows users to have what are called smart accounts, which for sake of simplicity can be thought of as programmable wallets. You can program to behave in almost any way while getting other neat features like gasless transactions, paying gas in ERC20s and many other goodies. Worth the read if you’re interested, single comment won’t do justice

Just use any REPUTABLE - hopefully open-source - wallet. You can see some wallets [here]([https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet](https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet)). Download them from their source. Then just find a place where you can import private key. A private key is 64 characters in the range 0-9 or A-F like this example: E9873D79C6D87DC0FB6A5778633389F4453213303DA61F20BD67FC233AA33262 - EXAMPLE private key. Done. Consider this paper by Visa regarding AA to enable automated programmable payments. The paper highlights the challenge of setting up recurring payments on a blockchain and introduces the idea of delegable accounts, which allow users to delegate payment instructions to a pre-approved smart contract. https://usa.visa.com/solutions/crypto/auto-payments-for-self-custodial-wallets.html Here’s a couple other game changers User-Friendly Onboarding: AA simplifies the entry point into the blockchain by replacing complex cryptographic key management with familiar identifiers such as usernames or email addresses. This lowers the barrier for newcomers to the web3 ecosystem. Operational Ease: AA mitigates operational friction by facilitating gasless transactions. Whether conducting financial transactions, minting membership NFT/SBT, or deploying smart contracts, users can bypass the need for native coin balances. Thus, organizations can pre-pay gas fees, easing individual burden. Effortless Account Recovery: With the influx of new users, account recovery becomes essential. Account abstraction enables easy recovery via traditional methods like email-based resets and multi-factor authentication. And of course, there will be new native methods that are yet to come. Interoperability and Collaboration: AA paves the way for seamless interaction across multiple dApps and platforms. It eliminates the need for separate accounts per application, simplifying collaboration and contributing to the web3 ecosystem. And of course, we haven’t even scratched the surface of the possibilities AA will bring to the table. It’s definitely a big deal and will change how we interact with our ETH wallets forever.

Not sure I would say that it’s centralization per say, but rather due to cheaper gas prices on certain chains, early adopters maybe having an affinity for Polygon (due to cheaper gas prices perhaps), and due to the 4337 users might not needing to get into the next block… many 4337 wallets are batching txns in say 30 sec, and then resolve them… meaning if you’re a HFT trader, or if time really matters with your trade, then you’re not going to use at 4337 wallet due to the delay involved when attempting to execute a trade when a lot of money is on the line. Time is money to big traders, and they aren’t going to give a fuck about the benefits of 4337 when the alternative allows them to get in and out “when” they want. A concept that Vitalik formulated a couple of years ago has come to the forefront again. Account abstraction or AA. According to the concept, it will ease the entry of mainstream web2 users into web3 and accelerate adoption. I did an elaborate post on the topic a couple of months ago, you can take a look at it here and check out some of the [top use cases](https://www.np.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/1614074/account_abstraction_erc_4337_and_smart_privacy_to/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) that AA can enable. IMO, with work on AA being done now with a privacy-first approach, it can act as a solution for the pain point in mainstream interactions where we all know despite the lure of easy UI and UX, lack of privacy is a concern. So, [privacy-enabled AA](https://oasisprotocol.org/blog/web3-account-abstraction) is the future that is in the making right now and will potentially result in a vital contribution towards taking crypto mainstream.

I’m thinking it will hold. Behavioral economics says it will hold. There appears to be a relationship between U.S. Treasuries and crypto in general, as confidence falls in the long term viability of the U.S. dollar, crypto goes up and that seems to be tied to all of this political craziness going on. Just an observation, but shortly after 1/6, U.S. Treasuries started being dumped around the world and that continuous drop, in individuals, sovereign wealth funds, institutions and countries holding U.S. debt happened every day since, until the January 6th hearings started, then the selloff slowed. I think crypto is being used as a hedge against the dollar. And that makes sense. Behavioral economics says that holders of large amounts of U.S. debt are really investing in the democracy of the United States. The more under threat the democracy of the United States gets, the higher the crypto gets. I mean let’s be real. If 1/6 had been successful, then every single U.S. bond in existence would have gone to zero, practically overnight. The rating on U.S. debt was lowered to AA+, from AAA. That cuts out a majority of buyers right there, the funds and portfolios they manage can’t have anything in it that is not AAA. The U.S. dollar is a fiat currency and though popular to believe that fiat means that it is backed by nothing, that is incorrect. A fiat currency, in a very real way, is backed by the citizens of the nation that issued it. A fiat currency’s value is based largely on perception of the issuing nations stability. A fiat currency’s viability, as a currency, is primarily dependent on three things. That it is sought after, held and used. The dollar is losing its ability to remain a viable currency on the world stage. The world is not going to take a risk like that again. So I’m thinking BTC is not only going to hold, it’s going to go higher.

We're now seeing a shift from EOA to AA wallets and they offer account recovery and simplifying self-custody. These wallets aim to make crypto more user-friendly and could be the next big thing in DeFi.

I also have huge expectations for post halving as we might as well be back in the bull run. Till then I'd stay focused on BTC which I'd lock in a decentralized AA wallet with 2FA for security.

Agree. THere are way more sites to spend crypto on to buy stuff or for prepaid cards and cashing out now than ever.....AllArk, Bitrfll, Binance all provide easy and increasing ways to use crypto in Day to day life. Sites like AA even accept Monero which is amazing. Just because growth is slow and not like Apple iphones does not mean it isn't happening, :)

- Account Abstraction: There are a lot of things that get undeservingly hyped in the blockchain industry. Account Abstraction (AA) is one of the few things that is deserving of more attention than it gets. AA is a key missing component to blockchain interoperability, user experience, and general automation. It is the ability to have a user account that is governed by a smart contract. Nervos’ implementation of AA is very clean and concise since the design was intended from the very beginning. This is a sharp contrast to Ethereum, which is now trying to find a way to implement AA. Ethereum has several different proposals for AA, each with pros and cons. Some of the designs are quite good, but the implementation is very difficult. The last time I checked, the leading solution was proposed by Vitalik as a compromise. It is not nearly as nice as some of the other proposals, but significantly easier to implement since it does not require a consensus change. IIRC, the rationale given was that without this compromise, the other solutions may never get implemented even if they are better solutions. - State Rent: All blockchains face a long-term incentive problem in that the parties responsible for persisting data will incur continuous costs, so a single one-time fee doesn’t make sense. Pay once, store forever, is a broken incentive model. State rent is a solution that enables continuous small payments to be made for as long as the data exists. Only a handful of platforms have state rent implemented, a few more are trying to figure out how to implement it, and the vast majority have not yet begun to address the problem. When you compare how state rent is implemented, you will find a stark contrast between the different platforms. The general concept is the same, but the devil is always in the details. IMO, Nervos is by far the most elegant and effective state rent design in existence, and it would be exceedingly difficult for other platforms to adopt Nervos’ model of state rent. Blockchains using the account model are too fundamentally different to replicate Nervos’ solution, making it virtually impossible. UTXO blockchains are much closer, but it would still be exceptionally difficult because Nervos’ design is so deeply connected to the lowest levels of the architecture and the tokenomics of the platform. - Tokenomics: One of the most neglected aspects of blockchain design is the tokenomics of the platform. It directly affects the security and sustainability of the platform, as well as the interests of investors. Yet it often gets ignored and kicked down the road anyway. You may have heard within the Bitcoin community the popular phrase, “There will never be more than 21 million Bitcoin”. The problem is their deflationary tokenomic incentive design doesn’t make sense in the long term. Some of the Bitcoin core developers argue that the 21m hard-capped design should be abandoned completely. Meanwhile, Nervos has already implemented a tokenomic solution that accomplishes everything Bitcoin has set out to do. It is both long-term sustainable, and effectively hard-capped and deflationary for long-term investors. Bitcoin absolutely should be looking at a way to replicate Nervos’ tokenomics, however, it would be exceptionally difficult to do both because of the design differences and because it is nearly impossible to convince the Bitcoin community to adopt anything that makes significant changes to the protocol. For the betterment of the blockchain industry, I encourage any other platform to learn from Nervos and copy as much of it as they can. However, replicating all of these features would be so difficult in most of the existing platforms that it would be easier to start over from scratch. Vitalik Buterin has openly stated that he intended to build smart contracts on Bitcoin, but then decided that it would be far too difficult to implement and to convince the community to adopt. This led him to start over by creating Ethereum. The Chief Architect of Nervos, Jan Xie, found himself in a similar situation while he was working on the Ethereum core team. This led Jan to start over by creating Nervos. However, there is one distinct difference. Jan recognized that the scenario of continuous restarting will happen over and over again unless the platform is flexible enough to meet the challenges that we are unable to foresee. This is why Nervos was engineered with flexibility as a cornerstone first principle. Nervos is the most flexible blockchain platform in existence, and the only platform ready to tackle the unknown challenges of the future.
