They have API documentation, tutorials, and other resources that are instruction-complete. If you have no idea what I mean, take a look at RAK wireless’s Helium documentation.
Can we talk about HNT in the shitcoin conversation? Such a promising idea and the network is everywhere. But no one is using it. *crying in RAK miner*

For me it is HNT, FIL and ADA. HNT has an impact outside the crypto world and will continue regardless of the crypto status. Of course, HNT price fluctuates with the market. But Nova labs are funded separately by VC and other funds. They acquired FreedomFi and built their own IoT/hardware, and many hardware companies like RAK wireless are cooperating on the future of telecommunication.
One is an original Helium miner (white one), the other is a RAK - both ordered direct from source.
Yup, got both a Helium original miner and a RAK - both took around 8-10 weeks to arrive, that was a year ago now though, I know they are all seriously backed-up with pre orders.
I got the RAK, normal black edition
Wait for the drops from one of the verified vendors. Sensecap distributors and getmntd (RAK) seem to be the most active in their miner drops.. Something to note though, with Helium your location REALLY matters. Do some research on where you're going to place the miners and if your area is oversaturated. Nothing worst than spending $600 on a miner and finding out that it earns like $1 a day.
https://join.heliumtrack.app/romeumeneses Nova forma de teres o teu hotspot sem teres de gastar. Regista te RAK analisa o local onde queres colocar O teu hotspot e envia-te um. E recebes 25% do que minerares
I have a share program with a RAK miner right now. Earned about 13 hnt in 4ish months so far. I order my own a while back but it wont ship till January it says.:(
The RAK miner. Local source brought in 3000 to far. Our local area is saturated now though.
RAK here in Tampa/Clearwater/St. Pete area. There are several miners in the area, but only expecting about 3 months to have enough returns to pay off the miner, maybe less if HNT keeps going up.
Already ran simulations, ordered 400 cable and a 5.8 dbi from RAK wireless. I’m in a nice little suburban area that’s pretty filled in. Should be killer
I'm reselling Nebra HNT Outdoor Hotspot Miner and RAK Hotspot Miner V2.
I don't think you understand. Signing hardware does not by itself make the 900 mhz network centralized. The signing only matters if you want to make money from it. In fact, you could buy this exact same RAK unsigned hardware without the signing, and start your own free-helium network. I still don't know how your going to achieve fair decentralized approval of miners though. If you are holding back your 200 IQ way to do that fairly, then \*yes\*, the whole signing part is not needed, and in fact would be my preference as well. I am also a big fan of monero btw, and the reality is, every project, including monero has some centralization to some degree. The operation of monero is decentralized, but the codebase is not. This is just a slight extension to that, by saying the hardware must be signed to be rewarded for your contribution to a 900 mhz network. Does not mean the 900 mhz network is centralized.
Unfortunately you can't order the Nebra or RAK miners atm, they are completely sold out. As it stands right now Bobcat and Syncrobit are still taking orders but the former is both a better product and a better price. If your interested I would suggest ordering asap and being prepared for a minimum of a three month wait. Anyhow I don't want to catch heat from a moderator for going off-topic or for the unintentional shill but I really do believe that as a crypto community that we are all in this together. If you'd like to know anything else feel free to DM me, I'm far from expert but if I can pass you on even a little knowledge that will help you with your journey them I would love too 😃
Can't wait to get my HELIUM RAK miner in like 6 months when the backorders are cleared lol.
I just ordered one of the RAK Hotspot V2s. Won't arrive until later this year, but I'm definitely interested in this.
So I’ve done the research and it sounds to me, by everyone’s comments we all have very similar information… BTW I ordered the equipment-it is on the way… RAK Hotspot Miner, outdoor case and an outdoor antenna… about $610 expected the end of summer 2021. Now here’s the big question: what is the data being exchanged from hotspot to hotspot? I understand it works like radio waves from antenna to antenna but what is in the actual data? Music? Radio programs? Or are we helping to create a hotspot network that pays us in cryptocurrency that will inevitably skyrocket- but are we giving up our national data for foreign intelligence?!?! I’m only part kidding- But at the rate it’s growing could you imagine if we are all helping to build a hotspot network for transfer of data that’s ruining our country??? Oh well least you’re paying us in crypto LOL… Thoughts?
When did you order your RAK miner? and how long did it take for you to get it?
I ordered a RAK miner a couple weeks ago, I'm hoping I get it before the end of the year (lol). Yeah, sell your DOGE imo. You made money now invest in something real before the rug pull.
Burj on your right, looks like heading to RAK on Sheikh Zayed
Awesome! I got the nebra one but the RAK one is supposed to be good too
Just bought the RAK Hotspot Miner. Super excited to start. Thanks again for your help and direction!
I’m assuming this is referring to the mining process. BTC (most extreme example but the easiest) is very power intensive and arguably has a heavy environmental impact. That’s because of the way it’s minted. Proof of work. Other coins are minted and mined through proof of location, proof of concept and I’m sure tons of others. I mine HNT helium. I’m using a RAK longFi miner. It’s essentially a radio transmitter hooked up to the internet. It uses about 5w of power. I’m awarded anytime my miner confirms it’s location or another miners location. It’s more technical than that, but I’m trying to keep it basic. Now will HNT ever be as lucrative as BTC? I sure hope so, but probably not. I’m not advocating buying or mining anything, just throwing out real world examples.
Oooo I was thinking of getting the legit RAK 9dbi Fiberglass one! Seems solid. And thank you!!! 🤗 that’s code word for helium team right? Ahaha
