The only one I still hold in your list is BMTX which yes is a viable company which hopefully will do well in the near future. As for the others all I can say is that like you, I too have put too much of my money in speculative and growth equities instead of like you said the tried and true. And even though the tried and true are down too in reality they went up way more than most of our de-spacs and are still up quite a large percentage from where our best de-spacs are. This is definitely a live and learn type scenario. From here on out I will be only adding to index funds and possibly just top names if the bargains remain this good. As for all my huge paper losses, I'm not selling at this point to recoup pennies on the dollar. Hopefully at some point in the next 5-7ish years we'll at least have our money back if not a profit from most of these companies that still stay solvent. Again Gl with this game and don't beat yourself up too hard.
Thats not true, and Sofi still trades at a steep valuation in the 6's. On the other hand, BMTX is trading at an undervalued PE and *doesn't hold any debt*.

I had a great one with CRTX.. 60k vaporized in 0.1ms I got greedy and thought I couldn't lose - shitty biotech was there with a lesson BMTX was also a huge loss which I have only just recovered from this week to ATH :-)
I didn’t say “loses money”, I said “loses a ton of money”. And it’s still trading at 6X sales. All while losing a ton of money. It’s overpriced on hype. At BEST it’s fairly valued where it is. Definitely not to the point where it’s valuation is “stupid low”. Compare it to BMTX for example. They actually are profitable, growing and trade at a FAR lower multiple.

DeSPAC BMTX is better, look at its monthly chart, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, squeeze, repeat...it just began again on Friday at ER; 15k shortable shares, under 10M float, over 22% short float, over 22 days short ratio. 2 calls per 100 shares and we celebrate at 2x!

Meanwhile BMTX has a market cap of $100M with revenues that are half of DAVE and they are profitable. Dave has an almost 40X higher market cap on only 2X the revenues.
Currently my favs are ACEVW, APSG+, GSQD+, OUSWX, and EJFA+. Keeping my cost basis very very low. PROCW has good risk/reward with earnings coming soon. BMTX+ has held up well, but earnings are coming up soon which will be a binary event. I don't like binary events. MEKA too, but no warrants.
There will be a few scattered winners. I think it will be a couple of moonshots but the bulk of the winners will be the boring stuff. SKIN, ASLE, BMTX, PROC, SLCR and some others. SPACs that were in industries that didn’t have a hype factor and thus a far more reasonable valuation. Pre-DA anything is probably a 1% success chance that this point. I sold a ton in the summer of last year and only kept “cheap” pre-DA warrants with strong rumors. Got brutalized even with that approach.

UWMC is a tough call considering the possible slow down in the refi market. I love BMTX. I’d add PROCW to the list. Not the commons, but the warrants. I think the commons are priced fairly but the warrants are discounted.

I'm 3 decades old and have only low-mid 5 digits investments. If I ever want to become a homeowner in this state, that needs to grow *very* quickly even if it's extremely risky. Cortexyme (CRTX): 40% Digital Turbine (APPS): 14% SoFi (SOFI): 14% Boeing (BA): 9% BM Technologies (BMTX): 7% Coinbase (COIN): 7% Block (SQ): 5% BANNED TICKER: 4% Currently green on all other than BMTX. I'm actually sitting half cash right now waiting for a good opportunity. Just do half the percentages of the stocks for the total of all my investment money. Currently looking for high growth companies that are undervalued and were unfairly punished by the recent growth selloff, but so many are still just so bloated that finding good value can be a tall task.
Yeah, lots of the plays on here are trash, but many of them did squeeze. Prog was posted on here constantly before it ran up and you could have bought in and made some money if you held. I mean it ran from .90 all the way up to 5 bucks at one point over a few weeks period. That's a lot of time to get in and out of the play. You just have to see what people are posting about, do your own DD, and decide if it has run up too much to enter into based on your risk tolerance. (Of course I am major bag holder in BMTX, so what do I know)
I'm usually a huge sucker for "squeeze" + "low iv". Spreads are a bit dangerous here, so I'd recommend don't necessarily hit the ask. I have a handful of the Jan 65c so we'll see where this thing goes. If it can break $65 in earnest, it should take off higher. I will say that after the BMTX debacle (I'm still holding leaps/shares, but lost a lot on shorter dated calls), I've been a bit more cautious as I don't want to give back a chunk of my gains here at the end of the year.

Sure, here’s some of my low multiples watchlist. Favorites are closer to the top. * BMTX (trading lower than it was when they announced they were acquiring a bank charter) * KPLT (trading 1x multiple compared to all its BNPL peers which are trading >15x) * RDW (wait for the company to clear up its one red flag—earnings delay—they were too trigger happy in M&A last year resulting in an accounting snafu from an acquired company) * LTRY * DMS * OPAD * AVCT * WTER It’s important to note that many of these are deSPACs, and there’s a common sentiment that deSPACs are garbage, simply because some of them are. DYOR, I’m only long on the top three in this list (plus a few pre-rev favorites which don’t meet the criteria in my original post)
They were calls based on the macro conditions as they stood. The market conditions turned tremendously, and as the market conditions shifted I was ahead of the curve in laying that out and spelling out the implications for the trades. Ahead of anyone I shifted to a mixed long / short book and dropped around 5 calls that ran 100%-300%. I don't think any of these were glaringly bad ideas. And BMTX and SLNH offered weeks to cash out with serious gains profits. ​ In the context of a market where the bulk of retail trades are getting decimated in record time, most of this stuff has been spot on. \- GGPI: A lotto bet on a EV bull market. Every EV play got wiped: TSLA, LCID, RIVN, etc. So lottos wiped. \- SLNH: Secular play on miners. From the outset was clear this is a leverage bet on BTC. BTC is down, as is every miner. About 3 weeks ago, I commented extensively on the changing mining situation and tapped out. \- BMTX: Strong run that lasted a few months. There again, from the peak - was pretty clear in many comments about de-levering, moderate positions, long-term focus - and that fact that the overall markets are not going to sustain it indefinitely. Again several weeks ago I was pretty transparent about tapping out their. ​ Bottom line, I think this play is solid given the current market conditions. And up 20% in brutal tape from earnings already.

I’m in this bigly. Incredible to me what a sleeper this is. SI as of this morning is 1.98 million shares which according to some DD found here is nearly 100% of the free float (debatable I suppose). And actually it dipped to $10.20 a few days ago and bounced so breaking $10.50 and gapping down is some odd technical analysis to me but what do I know. A little bit of volume and this thing moves multiples. Final boarding call on the $BMTX rocket and squeeze some shorts 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

Agreed. I never even joined this play for any squeeze potential. I'm in BMTX because it's at least a double bagger deep value play. I'm holding all of my shares. That said, my anus is still clenched because I've seen promising stocks manage to dip well below their cash on hand value despite potentially having a strong future ahead. See NNDM currently with like 1.35 billion cash on hand + industry leading tech and sitting at a 1.1 billion market cap (I currently own zero shares of NNDM by the way, so I'm not advocating buying it). So in a bear market, it's so tough to say where these small earners will go.
I'd be hesitant to recommend any particular plays because your situation is different than mine - for you, capital preservation and recovery is key. I futz around with some cash on the side. Having said that, I am holding ARDX and CFVI over the weekend for short term mooning, and BMTX for 'whenever we get to it.' May I recommend the tamer r/SqueezePlays sub for additional useful DDs and discussions.

More and more pple are catching it but Buy a ton of a highly shorted stock then basically write. a nice DD piece post on reddit and then dump for your 3-4 points and trust me that enough. Everyone thinks ohh has to sqeeze....no it doesnt if you had 30,000 EESC at $10 and sold at $13 who would not dump it and score on everyones hope of $30. EESC was a scam from the second I saw it. This sub isnt safe just saying prove me wrong. like 2 maybe 3 sqeezes happens out of the last 15. I can name em all. BMTX, EESC, the NUZE even PPSI on a certain level. promises 25 we see 6.75 today fucking each other

It has had 3 “squeezes” in the past and each one kept going further down. What do you expect to happen? The tooth fairy is going to sprinkle some dust on it and it magically goes up? I see having potential, but it just had a double halt which usually leads to downward progression. I don’t think Santa is coming any sooner to help out BMTX.

Absolutely BMTX. I won't really go into DD as there are a couple *really* good ones you can find just by searching BMTX on Reddit. SeekingAlpha also just put out a very in depth and highly bullish write up on it yesterday. Plus they just got an analyst rerating with a price target of $21. I'm extremely bullish on the company, but don't take my word for it. Read through all of the DD yourself before making your decision to buy.

To put this chart into perspective, even if BMTX's market cap went 2x to 332M or 3x to 500M... you could still argue it is **currently undervalued**. This is important... because it has a Bank Charter coming in, which will rapidly increase their offerings and boost their revenue even further.

BMTX has minimum 13% cost to borrow and maximum 15 % cost to borrow which is still up there but some would pay it and short the stock. Once it goes to 100% it’s not worth it and they won’t short anymore
BMTX doesn't even need short interest, just volume. I think if most people here even held one share and watched its intraday swings on tiny volume, there's not one person that would disagree this thing will absolutely rip with even moderate volume. Fantastic entry price now, too.
CRTX is heavily shorted but it's also a Biopharma company that isn't getting good results. It will likely only rip once they get positive results to share. BMTX on the other hand has a tiny, tiny float. Moderate short interest, yes, but it can easily gamma squeeze with the bullish options chain.
