See it went down then up. I stressed out and sold my $1,050 portfolio in this after losing $300 in 30 mins and went into TRKA and made most of it back but now this stock is up 133% today (DCRD now HHRS).
HHRS / DCRD float looks to be only about 126k shares, if you're into those low-float SPAC reindeer games.

WEST, GRRR, DFLY, OSA held well immediately on floor removal. I mean it's hard to find examples where there is literally no volume >50c below NAV but by that metric DCRD wouldn't pass either since it touched 9.77 and 9.6 yesterday and the day before.
It really is. My strategy for the past year or so has been to buy after NAV floor drops (try to get in around $9) and sell before merger vote so trust me I watch this specific movement carefully with every single vote. Just in the past week I recall $DCRD, $HSAQ, and $ADRA.

I need to learn more about it, but I cannot think of a better SPAC (given all SPACs have been doomed just for being SPACs) than a SPAC directly tied to a commodity. That's why I really like DCRD. Because a commodity is the one situation I can think of where any "anti SPAC bias" is 100% neutered.
Healthy interest continues in DCRD warrants. Over 480k warrants traded today, with most of that (\~437k) contained in 3 large > 100k warrant blocks. In fact, over 95% of DCRDW volume today comprised of buy orders. Yes, I know SPACs are in the dumpster, but I'm holding these anyway.
Because it's a call option on a real company. Same reason why DCRD warrants exploded.
I'm not saying sPaCs aRe bAck, but between HZON and DCRD that's two legitimate deals with realworld companies as opposed to fairytale business models valued at eleventy-billion dollars.

Hasn't been a filing since January 2022. IMO DCRD had a target 4Q21 and "lost" it early 2022 when everyone was bailing on SPAC transactions. It will be interesting to see if they go through with it or pull the filing, but when I checked a few days ago their CIK was still active.

What's interesting about DCRD warrants now is they're essentially in my mind a lotto ticket on wildcatting.
I made the choice to sell all of my DCRD warrants as I figured the moral boost for actually making money on a long position and raising cash, albeit a small amount, was the right choice. When these go to $1.00+, you know who to thank!
DCRD warrants just might moon. ENPC warrants hit over $1. Similar industry and valuations. Not sure how remote the oil wells are though.

Looking at 10qs for PNTM and DCRD.. always hard to tell how the expenses were used, but looks like PNTM was $1.2M and DCRC was $2.5M last quarter. So looks like they are still working. One thing I found interesting I had never seen before is in PNTM’s, they had a probability of business combination as part of liability calculation. For 2021 year end they listed 100% and for Q2 they listed 70%.

They had 18months and I think it was March 2023. Issue was they didn’t have a built in extension and language I thought that said they wouldn’t extend. As for LFTR and IGAC I have no idea. I really liked both and thought they had it to. I think IGAC specifically fell thru and LFTR with what crypto is going through is tough since they need money and SPACs aren’t providing actual cash right now. Right now I’m leaning towards many big names/good sponsors will liquidate as opposed to bring a crappy deal. But teams like KCGI, DCRD, Gores, SCRM have done several deals so think they still may be alright but the one off ones with what we called good teams may just not do it.

I’m leaning towards most are going to $0. Even the DAs ones aren’t great. I mean COVA at $.1, KCAC $.2, LGTO at $.3. I guess if you bought at $.05-$.1 then that’s good but considering my averages are up above $.5 it sucks. But money is so little now I’m just letting it play out. Am consolidating some tho, such as selling $.08s for DCRD at $.11. Still think they get a deal. Also pickup up SCRM at $.22 since they have u til January 2024

Biased towards DCRD due to their track record and I think plenty others on here would agree. Still think my now 15000 warrants could go to 0 but also think I could double them to 0.60 at least so I'm going for it.

I absolutely believe this 100%. I've known of 2 IPOs that were signed, sealed, but not delivered, just waiting for "market conditions" to turn. My #1 candidate for this is DCRD, as they still have DCRE filed & even S-1/A tweaked it back in January. Frankly, if some of my sub-NAV SPACs get liquidated I'd me elated to pick up a quick 2.3% or whatever & funnel that cash into another sub-NAV SPAC given I'm waiting this market chaos out until a later period of clarity. I also agree with him that perhaps ironically some of the "name brand" sponsors could be at risk of liquidation, I've mentioned that before but nobody wants to listen to that.

\#1 DCRD \#2 PRPC By far those 2 above are my very top two picks for the virtually sure thing "safety" you're requesting. A cut below those I'd put Churchill, like CCV and CVII, and maybe I'd lump things like HERA and JWSM into the mix in terms of SPACs that will probably succeed in grabbing a DA.
DCRD warrants are pretty cheap. FVIV are like 1/9 per unit or something. Not well known teams, but MACC are 1/3. MDH are 1/2. COVA, ARRW too. These are all under 20 cents and aren't expiring soon. Double check my figures before buying.

ANZU still has until 3-1-2023 and has the FPA/backstop they raised late last year. At $.22 with a year left thats really not too bad. Other things I added today are GHIXw at $.55 as Gores will get deals and that has until January 2024. UTAA at $0.29 - the UTA spac has plenty of connections and is out until September 2023, more DCRD have until February 2023. MTAL has until July of 2023 looking in the metals space and experienced team in that area. Really need to raise my funds but the spacs with closer deadlines I have a hard time selling them for $.1-$.15, so really just need a DA... IGAC, looking at you. Sure they are risky, but there is decent time on most of those.
Potentially interesting DCRD development in that the CEO and the Chairman of the Board are swapping spots. Could mean absolutely nothing, but the optimist in me wonders if it means a DA is nearing.
Don't buy warrants over a .30 cents unless team has a proven record. FMIV, DMYS, DCRD, SVFA, CIIG etc. i know that isn't your question but still feel it's important to mention. As others said warrants are usually a price indicator of what's to come with the underlying stock
Silver Run were the 3 SPACs and were O&G before they pivoted to the Decarbonization team. DCRD is there 7th total SPAC I think

I’m not sure about DCRD pumping on some DA, we’re still not at that level of hype where everything just pumps. Whilst they have delivered SLPD AND DCFC, and also delivered Hyzon Motors. In whichever ways hydrogen vehicles are shilled, it’s dead end. They will never reach mass market uptake, which is where the real money is made.
I expect DCRD to DA very soon for reasons I've previously written about in a DD piece. Just added $6k in commons on the potential for......whatever it is..... to run now because of DCFC. Way dumber things have happened.

PNTM has spent what $4 m and just asked for another $4m so that’s a good sign for them and agree with DCRD.
PNTM is probably a decent bet. I own both, but IMO the reason DCRD is higher is because people think there's frankly very little risk they dont find a target given they've done 6 SPACs prior & have found 6 targets. Not to mention they're about to drop another SPAC IPO imminently, which would be a weird flex at this point unless you're close or about to announce IMO.
I sold DCRD warrants to consolidate more into PNTM. I like DCRD but it scares me being up that high.
Reviewing the filing, which I usually briefly do, but spent some more time here reading past Decarb ones and now their new one DCRE I was unaware this was the team behind 3 SPACs before the Decarbs that were Oil & Gas focused with Mark Papa as CEO. They had Silver Run I go with Centennial Development (CDEV which nearly went bankrupt due to shale boom but is good now), silver Run ii with Alta Mesa who I think got bought out, then formed Vista O&G SPAC which took a Argentina oil company public - never heard of them, then formed Silver Run III but due to O&G downturn didn’t IPO in 2017 and then changed its name to Decarbonization I in 2020. So this team with the 3 before the decarbs taken 6 total SPACs to completion and DCRD is the 7th. Pretty good track record of getting deals done although I think all are below $10, so that’s not great. I also noticed that most recent filing is saying 1/2 warrant and $10.2 in the trust. James Mcdermontt and Erik Anderson will serve CEOs who is director in Calloway and James is involved in 1pt5, carbon engineering, Fulcrum bioenergy. The S1 for DCRE states the electric grid and transportation don’t account for all emissions and needs to be focus on legacy global industrial, urban, and agriculture complex needs additional resources. So they did hydrogen vehicles, they did charging with DCFC they did batteries with SLDP. Was thinking they need carbon capture or something, but with DCRE ceo being involved there probably not. ORGN woulda fit the description. Need to think a bit about potential targets for DCRE and also review DCRD filing and see if anything else is in there for hints on DCRD. Moral of the story this team has done 6, have an extensive network (river stone), do have funding, and have another SPAC ready so all signs point to a deal. Biggest issue I see is most if not all their SPACs are below $10 and the DCFC $6 backstop is concerning as well. But as you stated all their warrants are above $1. Curious if their previous ones before decarbs warrants expired worthless or they actually redeemed them before falling.
DCRE 2nd amended S-1A was just filed with SEC , so it looks like this IPO will indeed drop soon.
