This is update I promised from my original post when I started $100k CVNA calls earlier this year. Today is the expiration date. I had been through the worst time in May which the total value dropped nearly 90%. I rolled my $7.5 call to $13 ones when it was just above $12 not long ago, which was one of my most profitable call. Also I missed the highest point of this morning when it was over $28 and I could have gained 150k more. But I don't regret as I am content with over 350% gain. My bad - it was “only” 50%. I used the 60/40 as it’s the classic example. The general formula is 100 - your age = % you should have in equities. I sold all my long-term bonds in January 2022, as it was obvious what would happen with the Fed raising rates. I’ve been buying back in over the last 6 months as long term bonds are dirt cheap right now (and will soar when the Fed eventually starts cutting ) - especially compared with equities, which are historically expensive (NVDA is a great company with a great product, but a 1 trillion market cap and 25 billion in revenue? I’ve seen this movie before; eg, CSCO and INTC in 2000). Anyway, I believe even young investors should have some small % in bonds - I don’t know when, but equities will crash again someday, and if you lose your employment for a year or two…good to have some insurance. But to each his own. GLTA!

I don't understand the whole "Bears are fucked" or even "bulls are fucked" thing. Just because we had some good earnings from NVDA and tech / mega cap are mooning doesn't mean it's gonna go on like that forever. It could all come crashing down tomorrow. And if it doesn't we *will* have corrections, we will have problems, we will have crises. You can't declare eternal victory based off one particular situation, lol (or even permanent defeat). The most likely truth is that stocks will continue their slow march upward, sometimes quicker, sometimes slower, and inevitably with crises and pullbacks. Me personally, I see a lot of risks, but we've always had risks and we've done OK so far. That doesn't mean we won't be blindsided. 2008 was a pretty big deal. Still, we've done OK since then. I dunno. I think it's all a little more grey and uncertain than this whole "GG we broke the game" or "doom and gloom coming, beware" dynamic. Be smart, stick to your plan, choose good companies or good ETFs and be patient. If anyone knew what was going to happen we'd all be rich. GLTA

The series E shareholders have been eliminated, the company has several bids for refinancing out Blue Torch, and is considering a sale on its 2023 cash flow. I can’t think of any other stock that has the same upside as TRKA does. I still see $2-4 upon a sale and if Blue Torch is taken out that number could be higher. GLTA to the longs. Suck eggs shorts.

My gf held Microsoft stock for 20 years in her Morgan Stanley account and didn't touch it all those years. Just 1 day before Microsoft announced their deal with the Pentagon (which caused the stock to boom), Morgan Stanley sold her entire Microsoft holding without her knowledge, closed her account with some esoteric explaination, and notified her via snail mail 2 weeks later what they did without her knowledge. And in the letter, they specifically stated by depositing the cashout check they sent her, she agreed to not hold them for any liability of the sale of her Microsoft stock. Talk about sketchy af. And when she tried to speak with a Morgan Stanley rep, they just sent her through an endless chain of legal bureaucracy and mumbo jumbo. And when she tried to get the Attorney General involved, good luck, they are so overwhelmed with complaints, they hardly respond with any reasonable effectiveness. You are not safe with these crooks. Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, etc...they all just steal your money. Do not trust any of them whatsoever. GLTA

Netlist is a legit company, some deem it a patent troll company, but this latest result from trial by jury with a unanimous jury verdict ALL in favor of Netlist, validating their patents involved and validated claims of willful infringement on them all by Samsung which allows for treble damages 2x - 3x the amount awarded by the jury. This is just the second domino to fall after Netlist forced SK Hynix's hand to settle almost 2 years ago today for a $40,000,000 one time royalty with over $600mill in licensing supply agreement to access certain portions of Netlist's IP portfolio. That settlement paved the way for Netlist to continue to lawful enforcement of its intellectual property by hiring the best litigation attorney there is by name of Jason Sheasby with Irell & Manella. He has a proven track record of substantial wins on many patent infringement cases. He will be able to add to his resume after receiving this unanimous jury verdict (issued this past Friday nearly 20 minutes before close, hence the spike) resulting in $303,000,000 in damages for just under 1.5 years of infringement on 5 Netlist patents AND this is EXCLUDING treble damages to be determined by the Judge in the coming week. What some people fail to understand is that Samsung no longer has a legal contract allowing them to sell Netlist product in which it is accounted for just under 80% of Samsung products. I love it, but that bid ask and volume is torture. I was hoping to flip it and get some minnow peanut house money to park in warrants as poor man's LEAPs. SMH. Did enter post merger on that LVRO IPO last week (?), sold on the run yesterday, and will execute a handfull of warrants for a long hold. Both are decent, IMO. The revolution in AG is palpable at this point. Software as service and banking is done, I think the true breakout innovation will be taking those learnings and applying them to realworld applications, combine with synbio, and you will have some shit to sell at huge profit in 2026. Cheers. Of course, I'm so risk on, that I'm talking about no more than a 100-200$ to mark the spot---on house money. Went from 90% cash to 77%. Then pulled out half the cash from the brokerage just so I wouldn't be tempted. Now, I'm still 50% in the brokerage, but I occasionally see something worth riding for a few days to feel like the house money could be deployed with a long view strategy. I think we might be in a bull trap, and until we get past Jerome on Wednesday, and the ensuing reactions, I am just making baby plays on things I like similar to this $NRAC. GLTA.
