Buddy called me about HOFV, thinking it’s a bullish play over the next few years because of the renovations. I told him football is a dying sport. He disagreed. Regardless, I saw their gross profit decrease for the past few years, most recent years being a loss. He told me he’s dropping 15k I’m there because it’s only 60 cents or so. That isn't specified in the prospectus or press release. From memory, seems that when HOFV did something similar, the bonus shares showed up in folks portfolios the same day the ticker changed, but that could be a memory error.

HOFV and HOFVW are a special case. When the business combination closed, each GPAQ ( the SPAC ) share was converted into 1.42 shares of HOFV as a sweetener to complete the business combination. Because of that, each HOFVW will exercise for 1.42 shares of HOFV for $11.50. Just for the sake of discussion, let's say that HOFV went to $25 per share before July 2025, when the warrants expire. Someone could exercise 1000 HOFVW for $11,500 and would receive 1420 shares of HOFV, worth $35,500 at $25 per share. That would mean each HOFVW would be worth $24 each ( $35500 - $11500 / 1000 ) when HOFV was trading at $25. So the leverage on HOFVW is *extremely* attractive, although HOFV's prospects are not.
I’m just not understanding why anyone would choose warrants at this point but then I look at HOFV and HOFVW. I feel like I’m not getting something as to why warrants hold so much value when some of these guys are sooooo low. Like something more than just time.

HOFV. I knew it was a gamble and I wanted to sell with the nft buzz. But I missed selling before it crashed from $7 to 4 and I kept doubling down. Finally sold at 3 and lost half my money. But then I checked and it was under a dollar so I actually sold pretty far from the bottom.
Not financial advice. HOFV is at a good low point to buy in. It’s more a mid to long play. I would diversify and do your own research before buying anything. JZXN is another fairly cheap stock that I believe has a bright future. NIO as well seems like a good buy. Again, not financial advise but I would suggest researching these 3 yourself

My HOFV and BODY warrants bought near ATHs would like your warrants to hold their beer. But yeah the BTAQ one hurts for you...sucks. As long as no more spacs or only a handful more only liquidate then eventually warrants will still be fine at these price levels.

yeah, and plenty have. what's worse is that literally any company with no revenue, just, like, a blueprint or something could basically go public where the US IPO process typically weeds out shitty companies. theyre shitty companies repackaged and sold to retail. Look at the monthly candle charts of DKNG RIDE FSR NKLA HOFV TTCF BFI and you'll see what I mean. I think the only SPAC that's done okay long term is CHPT.

What are people's thoughts on LTRY after the huge selloff? I have not invested, but have been watching for a while as I have a friend who bought in heavy back when it was TDAC. The selloff was huge and warrants are around $1.45 now. Is it a good buy? I keep hearing about the low float, great revenue and growth, etc. But I'm concerned this will go the way of HOFV (one of the worst performing spacs). Interested to hear people's thoughts about buying at this level!
