Oh I’ve seen those. It’s regular WSB fare. This isn’t some meme stock and you can’t just will it to rocket. It’s had to work against having limited institutional support and the plague of SPAC. It’s just had its first profitable quarter. See how PLTR took multiple profitable quarters to gain after a multi-year downtrend. SoFi has needed to prove itself and court institutional investors. The mainstream narrative is coming in and institutions have been buying. It’s the rinse and repeat of solid companies in the market that take time to bake. I’m not looking with rose colored glasses. I’m not expecting $25 EOY. People said NTDOY would go bankrupt because of Wii U. It traded bearishly and sideways until the market warmed up to them and the success of the Switch. It happens. SoFi isn’t exactly a run of the mill regional bank or just some wannabe FinTech. They have a good reputation and they’re making solid progress. If it justified such a high valuation during the SPAC roadshow, it certainly does now, imo. But it may take time to get there. Understandably. The difference between me and previous posters is that I’ve worked Product in FinTech and Big Tech, and I’m decently realistic. Not telling people to load up on the rocket. I’m in the long game, but also following earnings and post-earnings moves.

What differentiates them from peers? I’ve yet to see a convincing argument about a distinct advantage that they have and half of PLTR stand can’t even explain what their solutions do. Not saying you’re one of these people and I’m not saying you’re wrong, either… but anything related to PLTR that I see is overrun with these types. If there’s real DD being done, it’s been getting drowned out by the screeching.

They are(everyone is) but they can pass on inflation to consumers really easily and increase their cashflows, so their pricing doesn’t take a big hit. On the other end, I’ve been waiting forever for growth stocks like PLTR I’m holding to come around !

As in exactly what, again only 5k but a quick rundown: AAPL, GOOGL, MU, DKING, DELL, INTC, VRT, ALAB, PLTR in that order of % so all tech minus DKING. Not diversified obviously but at this point not looking to expand. My main question is: amid a correction or pullback, is it ok to just hold and not sell? In fact I really want to just forget it all, not check in ever, and only sell if a confirmed recession/ world war is confirmed...sorry for the rambling, just looking for any advice from someone with experience. It won't be AMZN. Selling stuff is not where the big bucks are. Streamlining operations across all departments and anticipating future trends is. That's what Palantir does so well with their AIP offerings. Cathy Woods love her or hate her says PLTR will challenge MSFT and that's all I needed to hear.
If I'm not mistaken Intel looks like a possible NVDA on the making. NVDA using ASMLs' EUV chip maker took them pretty far. Let's see where Intels' new High NA EUV will take them. Stashing as much INTC and PLTR as I can. Never financial advice. Purely speculatin' over here. 🖖

I love PLTR but they have a ceiling unless they unleash something unheard of down the line. They are a software company first and foremost and a niche one at that. The say don’t invest in miners, invest in picks and shovels. PLTR is a miner and it’s a very specific mineral. The answer is NVDA.

I would guess puts and would target a breakeven of 8-10% down. However, I would wait for additional price action Monday and Tuesday to see where it is. I really have had bad luck on earnings plays outside of PLTR and RIVN this year (VSCO and BBAI fucked me reallllll good) so I’d rather stick to the choppy waters of SPY and a few other fun ones than dip toes with IV over 100%

It's quite clear. The current events have opened my eyes. On Monday, I'll be selling all my positions. Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Iran, Hamas, and so on— all these warspots share one thing in common. Recently, they are able to predict with at least a week's precision what the next war/terror event that occurs will be. It can only be Palantir doing this. Full port into PLTR!

I'm long SOFI at 7ish. Just turned it's first GAAP profitable quarter. Analyst targets also look good. Look at PLTR if you want to see what happens when a historically unprofitable company starts to turn a profit. The only thing to see now is if SOFI can sustain it.

Maybe OP is betting on IV getting crushed for some reason? The IV of those options is roughly at 60-65%, if it goes down to 40-45% within a few weeks and OP sells, OP stands to keep roughly half of his premium. But something tells me OP is not trading volatility and PLTR losing that much IV is unlikely.
I'm holding a lot of PLTR, SOFI, PLTR, CELH, GEO, TMC, and RIG. I DCA into them bi-weekly regardless of the price. TMC and RIG are smaller positions since that's more of a speculative play (deep sea mining/drilling).

I’ve watched a couple videos with CEO being interviewed. If his enthusiasm and confidence doesn’t inspire you to invest in PLTR, nothing will.
I agree though with one key dissent: politicians know exactly what they're doing: they're getting filthy rich. It's not just headlines (in fact, increasingly headlines don't matter for a myriad number of reasons). Rather, all of them have big corporate holdings, do insider trading, get big lobbying bucks. Why wouldn't you print another $1 trillion here and there for a bank, another $600 b for Boeing, another $100 b to Intel, another $250 b to RTX, hell how about printing another $500 b to PLTR, etc as a big % chunk of that ultimately goes back to you? And all basically tax-free. I fuckin' would. That's a primary (but not only) reason why I'm very bullish on ~~gambling~~ investing because it's also tied up in the plutocratic wealth, and so hitching my wagons to the oligarch's wagons is a winning play even as everything around becomes Children of Men.
PLTR and CELH Also have small positions in RKLB and PL (in short, I believe in the future prospects of space and earth observation industries). In biotech, IOVA is on my watchlist, as their TIL cancer therapy recently got an approval.

completely agree with maxcapacity. why wait longer for the same amount of profit if you don’t have to. OP could be even more bullish on PLTR if OP rolls those gains to other bullish option strats sooner rather than later. unless OP isn’t really all that bullish on PLTR which is completely okay too.
