You have $1,600. My suggestion is stop buying naked puts and start selling cash secured puts. PCT, for example, is about $6. It has good premium and weekly options. Run the wheel strategy instead. It ain't quick but a hell of a lot better than what you're doing now.

I know you think you're special, but the laws are normalized across all the signatories to the PCT treaty and you might be surprised to learn that the EU doctrine on software patentability derived from US precedent. In general, software alone is handled by copyright law, not patent law. So it generally isn't "patentable" in the US, either. It seems to common that people misunderstand what patents and copyrights are for.

Not bad. Took profits on most of my shorts last year and very slowly scaling back into high conviction shorts. I mainly short when downtrend begins or expecting a catalyst which usually means I don't time the top but safer that way. Some high conviction names of de-spacs that I expect significant downside in the next year (but may keep going higher in the short term) are SYM, PCT, JOBY, IONQ, NVTS, DKNG. All of them are overvalued and will likely drop 30-50% when the current mania ends

He was doing what he loves, but trying to cross is not the easiest thing. I backpacked Section J of the PCT near Seattle and had to cross these flimsy little logs over a raging river with jagged rocks. I really didn’t want to do it, it just didn’t seem safe. My friend with his incredible balance somehow tied another log for me. My friend was hiking with a group, but I’m not sure what happened and how they are all alive. Did he cross first? Did he go off trail? Did he cross last? Did he lose his balance? Did he hop in? I’m not sure the exact details yet, but I’ll delete that part of my original comment. I just meant he always wanted to go do things outdoors (unless it was jiu jitsu). He just felt like outside was more fun than inside. I concur and I miss him already.

I'm doing mostly CSPs for my sister's rollover, since they're treated like IRAs so your "options" are limited to mostly them and CCs. VIX is in the low teens, so puts have generally been working good. I just use a decent, but volatile stock like MARA, PCT, WB or NIO and I'd go close to the money (a bit below support) with 20-35 DTE. I got assigned twice this week and both times I was profitable overnight (this is a crazy market lol). After assignment, CCs (a bit above resistance unless I really want the stock) and CSPs. Most pain I've felt was "losing" 1000 shares of AFRM at 10 and 12 bux after collecting premiums for months. This offset quite a bit of premiums....Ouch.

The trick is to find companies who make their money from improving either the environment, society or governance. Most existing stocks dont do that. I'm looking at a few that indirectly do that. 1. ASTS - Cellular broadband to a normal cellphone anywhere in the world, they're still testing their technology but it works. Everyone including Space X is behind them in progress. Doesn't do much for the environment but on the social side it gives people access to the internet which could help lift hundreds of millions of people out of extreme poverty. 2. ORGN - Turns woodstock (scraps) into ingredients for plastic. Typically petrol/oil is used in the plastic making process and ORGN will be able to replace that. Competitive as long as oil is greater than $40 a barrel. 3. PCT - They recycle some sort of plastic, I haven't looked into PCT as much as I should have but they're testing their technology now last I heard. As you can see, these are all startups and they're all pretty risky. I dont look at anything that doesn't have a huge potential reward so I dont know if there's any safer 'ESG' stocks out.

It's hard to make a blanket statement like growth stocks are beaten down. I can't measure valuation of a stock like PCT because they have no earnings and aren't expected to have any through 2025. My definition may differ from others.

Growth got super inflated when best case scenario for the economy was being priced in. We’ve recently been pricing in a much worse case scenario. Growth got hammered because loans are no longer cheap, recession is looking and inflation is still a problem. Lots of growth companies have negative earnings, including PCT. Growth is a much riskier play than it was 2 years ago
