I scraped r/SPACs for the top ticker mentions in the last 24H. Here are the results (Saturday April 02, 2022)
Mentions
No filing or presser from softbank on SVFA. Today is deadline. Softbank must be total shitshow. Do they even have employees left? Somehow warrants still have bid at .04...
IX, DWAC, SVFA [the top mentioned SPAC tickers](https://swaggystocks.com/dashboard/stocks/top-spacs-list). HODL gang rise up
Can someone smart please look at SVFA last filing and tell me how nav is 10.12 when it says it's 10.059 in the filing. Million dollar bid at 10.12 right now 1 week from expiration.
SVFA last Q reported nav was 10.059...so why do they keep buying at 10.10? No way they earn that much interest in 1 q..
Can somebody help me to aid me some info on what happened with $CRHC ? Did it get delisted ? Did it liquidate ? (I am asking because of the bet I had with a friend, he went with CRHC liquidating first over SVFA. We agreed that when the warrant is below half a cent - then the bet has to be paid)
> Even preDAs under NAV are not attractive anymore with % saving accounts offer. This is what I have been wondering about arbs. For example someone is buying up SVFA commons at 9.97 with an expiration not until feb. Can't these arbs now all do better with money market accounts or what not? Why are arbs even still in these?
I actually made a bet for 5 bucks with a colleague - which SPAC would be first to liquidate - I went with SVFA, he went with CRHC. :D Payout happens when one of the 2 spacs' warrants trade below a half a cent.
SVFA keeps going closer to nav and warrants keep dropping. Is this the standard behavior right before they announce liquidation?
SVFA on the heels of the report Softbank bought over 2M Units Misra resigned as CEO of the spac. He recently left softbank too. The CFO was moved to the CEO position and there is something about him taking over the forward purschase agreement. Sounds like DA soon?
All the CEO's of Softbanks spacs have now left Softbank to join Misra's new investment vehicle backed by Abu Dhabi investors etc. Is this good or bad for the two still looking for targets SVFA and SVFB? [Article](https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/softbank-managing-partners-pipilis-varma-to-join-misra-led-firm/ar-AA1000xN) >Pipilis was CEO of a special purpose acquisition company, SVF Investment Corp. 3, which merged with warehouse automation specialist Symbiotic Inc. Misra and Varma are CEOs of SVF Investment Corp. and SVF Investment Corp. 2 respectively, both of which are yet to merge with a target.
ARM is officially going to be on the Nasdaq now with London out of the running due to Boris resigning. Will Softbank do a traditional ipo or use SVFA? They have stated that they still want to be majority holders and not sell much in ipo.
Rajeev Misra, SVFA CEO, resigned from Vision Fund CEO position but is still on softbank board. Not sure how to read that. Warrants keep dumping lower and lower every week. Their last spac SYM at $20 now...so if they do do something warrants could be massive return.
SVFA is my only hope at this point. They successfully closed their last spac (SYM) couple of weeks ago in this brutal market when everyone else is canceling.
SVFA - did Softbank buy 15m shares this year or is this something to do with free founder shares? https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1828478/000119312522041143/d271585dsc13g.htm
I prefer ARM for SVFA to save spacs. Masa said recently that it will be public on US markets by the deadline of SVFA. If anyone can pull off a crazy structure to make it happen he can.
SYM ran because WMT bought 60% of the shares. Or did you mean the SVFA warrants to .29? Not sure but there is big volume every couple of days on warrants.
SVFA has warrants :) SYM gives me hope softbank will bring another good one despite the market.
SFVC completed merger today. Probably good news for SVFA that they didn't cancel like all other spac sponsors. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220606005924/en/Symbotic-Becomes-a-Publicly-Traded-Company-Through-Completion-of-Business-Combination-with-SoftBank-Sponsored-SVF-Investment-Corp.-3/
All the more reason SVFA will be OnlyFans.
Anyone have any theories on how SVFA could have 30 million in expenses for q1-q3 last year?
SVFA makes me nervous now with the SoftBank news and issues
Beside their SPACs? Like SVFA. I think GWH was quite heavily and also a big contract to deploy batteries with SoftBank energy ventures. Not sure if that would also be impacted?
$LDHA - SoftBank latin America $SVFA - SoftBank $HERA - Betsy Cohen
Definitely agree. I'd add a couple more IPOD IPOF DMYS DCRD best ones to have imo. Honorable mentions to FMIV SVFA SCRM
SVFA is below nav right now and has run up a couple times on rumors.
Don't buy warrants over a .30 cents unless team has a proven record. FMIV, DMYS, DCRD, SVFA, CIIG etc. i know that isn't your question but still feel it's important to mention. As others said warrants are usually a price indicator of what's to come with the underlying stock
Not a troll - I have been into spacs since early 2020. Lost a shitload in 2021, sold most for a loss. Still hanging onto BTWN and SVFA warrants at an 80% loss. But seriously - why is anybody still trading/following spacs? Aside from a pre-merge ARB play, there is no money to be made anymore. Betting on redemption squeezes/deal terminations is no way to invest money. I just don't see how anybody is profiting here anymore. Hate to say it, but SPACs are finally dead.
Its not quite the same if IPOF goes down to 9.70 or something like SVFA, since your leverage is higher you can lose much more % wise. 7.50c is usually a sweet spot for me personally.
Softbank should just spac Arm with SVFA and a massive softbank pipe. Would be epic deal for spacs.
DKNG Post DA beaten down warrants: RBAC, MOTV, RCLF, BRPM Beaten down Despacs that proved they can hang above nav: SEAT, ? Beaten down Pre-Da warrants that have proven to pop on rumors: SVFA, IPOD, IPOF I started positions in some of these too early in January but am still willing to DCA.
Everyone is cheering on their despacs while I'm here with SVFA and PIPP "Go banana!" https://youtu.be/7m1h0Hf5uMs
I don't think so. SVFA split early. Everyone thought it meant a DA was around the corner. That was a year ago and still no deal.
random rumor coming soon? Like IPOF & SVFA?
Sold the PIPP spike, sold the IPOF bs spikes, sold most of this CRHC spike. Hoping these keep happening to my positions and don’t turn out to be real one of these times and I miss gains. Ones I missed selling the spike but wish I did was BTAQ, PNTM, SVFA, and OXUS.
For whatever it’s worth, (rather embarrassingly) my two best plays in the last few months were selling SVFA and PIPPWS on their respective BS rumor pumps.
SVFA pumps every couple of weeks on no news
What is going on with SVFA ? Is OpenSea a rumor?
Just picked up some SVFA commons, if someone could please start another Opensea rumor that would be great lol
That means we're due for the monthly SVFA pop also
Can someone smarter than me please take a look at SVFA chart today and explain how that almost 1m bar around 2:30 moved the ticker like .03?
literally no exciting rumors or DAs. i do think we will have one last CCIV type play before its all over. you can see the excitement/front running the past few weeks with unsubstantiated rumors with IPOF/PIPP/SVFA and a few others. people were buying the warrants and loading calls more so on any other rumor in a long time. just shows if we get any exciting targets it will go back to the days of 50% DA pops. has to be something that retail likes though. hoping for MyPillow, Kanye Spac, or Newsmax. its sad but those three will run very hard and fast. i shrugged at dogecoin at half a penny so ive learned to just follow hype. retail has too much money to sit and watch a meme and pout about fundamentals. there will be a time soon for fundamentals but its not yet.
Well every one that I mentioned has a strong track record (Except SVFA but Softbank is the track record) PRPB had one prior success, CRHC nothing, VYGG nothing, LFTR nothing.
This hasn’t aged well. But new price action on SVFA.
Oh SVFA, you dirty tease. What’s the news?
I thought SVFA was pumped on Twitter, not SeekingAlpha
I think I found the pumper's playbook. Step 1: Buy a bunch of $.05 to $.10 10c on pre-DA SPACs (there's about 30 of them in my watchlist). Step 2: Write an article about how a upcoming merger will cure cancer via crypto-powered EVs and the company pays out an NFT dividend. Step 3: sell options for 50 - 500% gains, repeat with next ticker (cough SVFA).
Dumped the rest of my SVFA warrants above $2 and rotated over to more FTCV calls. Merger date announcement should be this week based on pace of filings.
Sold 80% of my calls ftom SVFA. Thanks pumpers. Huge gains
SVFA is a classic Twitter pump & dump. But yet the buyers keep buying into the pump. There is no legitimate news about SVFA probably good to take profits and get back in when this tanks over the next few days.
SVFA is a bullshit rumor pump of them merging with some NFT company opensea. man just attached buzzword of the moment to your pump and you're good to go. Need to start a company that creates EV's that run on crypto and they're one of a kind and you get an NFT tied to it you can trade. and a pack of trading cards with gum. oh and it actually sucks CO2 in as you drive it and turns it into a starchy food product you can use to end world hunger.
$SVFA rumor with Open Sea NFT Marketplace
$SVFA pumping on unsubstantiated rumours on twitter https://twitter.com/OracleNYSE/status/1460301252995211266?s=20
Is SVFA about to make this patient investor very happy.....? 🤞🙏
What a crazy day. SVFA warrants up 40% now....just sold my whole lot. Can't see any news about it besides some obscure rumor of opensea
>opensea Fairly certain that was coordinated twitter pump based on nothing. Bunch of random new users showed up in daily a couple weeks ago spouting about SVFA and NFT.
saw some speculation on SVFA getting Opensea. don't remember where I saw it but if anyone has a link to those rumors please let me know. Opensea would go freaking bananas.
I purchased 415 Vygg march 18 12.5 calls and 425 SVFA February 18 12.5 calls
The same thing that happened with SVFA last week :)
Average down my SABSW, or, pick up SVFA, IPOD or DMYQ?
I just sold a few hundred SVFA warrants AH @ $1.75. Something definitely smells fishy.
HIGA SCOA SVFA top tier promoters/underwriters with warrant volume going crazy this week. Commons definitely worth a shot while they're still near NAV.... 👀
Loaded some SVFA… just in case
what’s the deal with SVFA? how’s the team? what kind of company are they planning on merging with?
So is SVFA gonna have an announcement or something soon cuz there’s been some volume
At this point, if there is an SVFA deal, the insider trading is blatant.
Fuck it, in for 600 SVFA commons just to see what happens lol
SVFA warrants just mooning for no reason lmao
Is the speculation that it’s NFT related? Haven’t looked into SVFA but I’ve been seeing it pop up recently
SVFA commons too have been having some heavy volume for the last week...
Someone buying SVFA warrants like no tomorrow.
$SVFA about to DA? Huge option activity on no news
What the hell is SVFA doing? Finally one of my doing dumb shits, so I don't really mind. But there is no rumors or anything that I can tell.
[SoftBank Is Considering a Sale of Fortress Investment Group ](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-11-01/softbank-said-to-explore-options-including-sale-of-fortress) Perhaps via a SPAC? $SVFA? Probably not but you never know as both Softbank and Fortress have a bunch of SPACS currently looking for targets.. I don't blame Softbank for bailing on Fortress after the $ATIP fiasco..😁
$SVFA, big call volume on Friday, today has unusual volume on shares, so people are piling in expecting a DA soon, resulting in a feedback loop.
SVFC and SVFA have higher than normal volume. Does anyone know if there's a reason?
