I find it crazy that it’s under 1$ let alone at the price it’s currently at. Their financials look amazing. Better than any I’ve seen. Revenue is growing eps positive already is crazy. And that’s right after covid - the finincials a couple years prior are skewed fuel for shorts- They actually have a net positive….they IPOD at 4$ I think so ya. My thoughts are worthless when it comes to the market makers but if there were ever to be a company that would break away from their greedy grips - it would be this.
IPOD and IPOF trading over $15 with no DA? There were many doing that at the same time.
I wish I knew what I know now about spacs. I wish I never met the guys on discord that were promoting IPOD and IPOF. I lost a lot of money!! But I guess it was a hard lesson to learn. Much better investor now.
Well...Tim did work under Jobs and brought us the IPOD....which led us to the iPhone. So I wouldn't say he has no real innovation. He also outsourced manufacturing. He is not a step in executive CEO.
They all technically "pass" the extension vote itself, but sometimes redemption's are so high that a sponsor opts to liquidate instead of taking the extension with barely any trust funds left. IPOD/IPOF asked for an extension last yearyear and then decided to liquidate instead, there are a bunch of examples like this.
Just had a bunch spac commons at around 9.70 to 9.90 at the beginning of the year. Now they are all around 9.90 to 10.20. Except IPOD and F. Lost a % or 2 on that. Overall, pretty boring.
There are so many mega food companies… think Walmart… Tyson… Nestle… Whole Foods/Amazon… that all could easily get in the meal kit game with their product with a strategic investment in Blue Apron. The latest filing made clear they can raise enough capital to not run out of cash… they will monetize the collateral commitments and then they have a year to find strategic partners- of which there are many. I don’t know what will be a fair price but current market cap around $30M is pretty low for their expansive customer base and brand… amazing how they IPOD for 2 Billion… anyway- I see no reason this can’t go back to around $300M with cash infusion + strategic partner, JV or buyout… this stock is at max bearishness… that’s always a nice time to be contrarian.
Scamath is no longer a billionaire and if you add up all four of his IPO deSPACs current prices, they are 2.45 over NAV COMBINED. He's managed a return of -45% if you count the rollups of IPOD and IPOF and -69% if you don't. Fuck Chamath.

Haha yeah it is actually my first foray despite how obvious the shorting spac/despac play has been for a year. I was doing mostly covered call selling on IPOF IPOD and BTWN. Just generating small but safe return but once those opportunities went kaput, I've been searching for anything to generate some money.

when sorting through the pre DA warrants out there, it's important to note that the premiums on some of them mean nothing. we've seen IPOF, IPOD, VYGG, and LMAC liquidate while being multiple times more expensive than other warrants that actually got deals. nobody knows anything and we're all buying in the dark. godspeed

Sorry to those that lost on warrants - to be honest, I actually played IPOF/IPOD warrants in 2021...Was up on some trades, down on others - probably ended up being net even, or had a slight loss. Actual acquisitions didn't even matter with these plays, as random market fluctuations could give you huge gains.
I'd be better off if I never heard of spacs lmao. They seemed like auto double ups or triple ups and it gave me the confidence to gamble more than I should of. Never held through merge and never had pre DA target. I broke those rules with IPOD/IPOF and held mvst through merge thinking it was the next QS. Luckily my covid picks crushed it. But feels like I missed a huge opportunity and didn't even beat the market lol in the end. Lot of lessons learned and it humbled the shit out of me. Plus I lost the concept of money. Felt numb to negative 5 digit days.

Everytime someone has a theory here, they have been wrong. So I have to go with historical data and assume this is wrong as well..also IPOF 1.15B + IPOD is 450M so roughly $1.6B plus PIPE money u are indicating a merger with a company worth like $30B to $50B there is no mining/energy company in that range if ur assuming thats what industry they are targeting to merge with. He probably went for the cricket match and to stay connected with business folks out there... the simplest answer is usually the correct one. Holding commons and sold all warrants as they will tank very soon. Then I'll re-buy wannants .20's-.30's and have a greater quantity.
I think you're better off in IPOD/IPOF this week due to all of Chamath's Middle East flights, or in RAM due to extension deadline of 9/21, but I wish you luck! 🙏

He's definitely pitching something, I'm guessing alternative energy. Whether it's for IPOD or IPOF (or both combined) is anyone's guess.

I wish I knew. If he’s in the late stages of the deal, I believe he needs to announce something to pop the price in order for shareholders to not redeem alongside the extension vote (unless he’s done some maneuvering behind the scenes to lock up shares). The weird, high volume on IPOF is the only thing that gives me pause on that caveat. IPOD hasn’t had that volume though, so that’s another interesting wrinkle.
Pretty interesting with IPOD. Probably just due to the DNAA run up but hopefully it is actually that someone knows something.
This previously wasn't possible, but they amended the IPOD & IPOF filings some time ago with language to make it so. I think this would obviously be Chamath's desire, to kill two birds with one stone, but the target would need to be fairly large.
