sold SPIR a couple days ago because i figured a 90% gain in no time is awfully good and space companies are risky, then they announce some kind of partnership with NVIDIA and double again. lmao.
If you don't want to play with DWAC, why not try a winner? SPIR just hit profitability, likely going to be included in the Russel. It's up 200% in the last 6 months, but only trading at 3.5X ARR but growing 30% YOY.
For the past 2 years I got kicked in the dick buying a company called SPIR. In the last 6 months it and I am up over 200% now. 30% just today. Feels good to be right and make a shitload of money doing it.

SPIR just reported tonight. They hit free cash flow positive finally. I have been eating shit on this one for 2 years. Now in the past 2 months I've gone from red to green on it. 80% gain so far. I am pretty concentrated. This thing is half my portfolio now.
SPIR earnings call just said they are profitable 🔥
SPIR reverse split was followed by a 2x on the share price, not all reverse split are bad.
Is that MDALF ticket for US? And what do you think of SPIR?
I like this but SPIR is better.
SPIR has route to further growth and has track record of high double digit historic growth. They are also expected to be cash flow positive this year. Biggest challenge for them has been their balance sheet, but are expected to recover from these issues once they turn cash flow positive. Disclaimer: My largest holding but up +165%
A number have tanked spectacularly recently: SPIR: Spire Global, US/UK/Lux based. A lot of promise for weather monitoring, logistics monitoring from space, but had a large SPAC and tanked since. Not clear if they have route to growth/profitability. It's cheap compared to SPAC, but unsure if good investment tbh. ARQQ: More of a quantum stock, they had plans to build an encrypted quantum comms satellite constellation, but now selling that off. They may still be valuable as a SW company but again, bit sketchy on their future. [https://www.satellitetoday.com/finance/2022/12/14/arqit-quantum-ditches-plan-for-quantum-satellites/](https://www.satellitetoday.com/finance/2022/12/14/arqit-quantum-ditches-plan-for-quantum-satellites/) SATX: Satixfy communications. Performance is currently crap, mired in regulation problems. I invested a small amount and am under water. Basically those are 3 companies you may not have heard about, none of which I can recommend!
Friday my biggest position SPIR went up 30%. Totally broke out of the lousy pattern. Hopefully it continues.
SPIR up 23% today. I have no clue why. It's 40% of my portfolio.
Buy $SPIR. it’s going to moon today
>I have options with X0S and MULN and SPIR Fucking why?
The last 2 years I have been buying the dip on a former spac (SPIR) that has been consistently shitting the bed. It was down 95% at one point. It was selling for like 70% of this years revenue last month despite growing over 30% YOY and it's all reoccurring revenue. Anyways, it's up 43% in the last month and still only selling for slightly above this years revenue. I bought the dip though so today I am broke even. Thank god. 2 years of getting my face ripped off sucked. Here is to many years of growth ahead!
Spire ($SPIR) and Planet Labs ($PL) are pretty interesting geoint companies. I think that part of the space economy will be pretty big.
Bought more SPIR. Looks like they won't run out of cash.
SPIR and ATIP. Lost my ass.
Fucking SPACs. ATIP, SPIR, MTTR
I ate a rash of shit for 2 years accumulating this turd, but it's finally paying off. SPIR +16% yesterday and again today. Selling for 1x ARR while growing at 37% was absurdly low.

I would describe it slightly differently, but that is the gist of it. AMD is making progress here though, and other more general programming approaches might supplant the CUDA level stuff (e.g. SYCL compilers). From the Wikipedia article, emphasis mine: >While the SYCL standard started as the higher-level programming model sub-group of the [OpenCL](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenCL) working group and was originally developed for use with [OpenCL](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenCL) and [SPIR](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_Portable_Intermediate_Representation), SYCL is a [Khronos Group](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khronos_Group) workgroup independent from the [OpenCL](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenCL) working group since September 20, 2019 and starting with SYCL 2020, SYCL has been generalized as a more general heterogeneous framework able to target other systems. This is now possible with the concept of a generic [backend](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backend_(computing)) to target any acceleration [API](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_programming_interface) while enabling full interoperability with the target [API](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_programming_interface), like using existing native libraries to reach the maximum performance along with simplifying the programming effort. ***For example, the Open SYCL implementation targets ROCm and*** [***CUDA***](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CUDA) ***via*** [***AMD***](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Micro_Devices)***'s cross-vendor*** [***HIP***](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterogeneous-compute_Interface_for_Portability)***.*** I think we eventually need to reach a good general implementation of heterogeneous compute. I'm not certain SYCL will achieve that, but if not, something else will sooner or later, but it isn't an easy problem.
Anyone looking at SPIR? It’s a penny stock these days, been beat up to shit as they haven’t been profitable yet since going public a couple years ago. But they just had their earnings report this afternoon and it’s looking like they have a clear path to cash flow positive by the end of the year, and potentially free cash flow positive by mid-next year. Just heavily improved their guidance. This could be a sleeper stock that’s due for a nice squeeze at some point. Curious to hear if anyone else has looked at it 👀
They’re on my watchlist but honestly they were kind of humming along while RKLB, SPIR and BKSY (and PYPL) had some drops so I scooped more of those up instead of adding something new. Definitely watching with this big drop in the last month.
I'm a big space nerd so I have RKLB, SPIR, BKSY and SIDU in my portfolio. Today was a very good day indeed. Of course, I've been in them long enough to know that tomorrow they will probably all be down a lot, but over time I've averaged down to add to my positions and am up on all except SPIR (down 44% but still adding and believing) and SIDU (very small position just to track it).
Since we are talking SPACs, what's your opinion on $SPIR? The stock is really down, and they are not profitable yet. However they still have runway and are posting results tomorrow. I hold a small position and am still confident they could go places.
All of the LEO satellite imaging stocks like BKSY, SPIR, PL (aren't they all set up to run right now anyway?). Maybe RKLB, LUNR, LMT.
Been holding SPIR for a week.. still have a feelin..
If your looking for a giggle take a look at SPIR. I thought it was a deep value play at 3..... I still haven't sold and have been averaging down. Right now it's my only red position but holy shit is it red.
[The Future Of Space Is Now: Why All Companies Need A Space Strategy](https://www.accesswire.com/viewarticle.aspx?id=764551&lang=en) \- SPIR SPIR.WS Spire Global put together an interesting press release to showcase some of their capabilities.
Anyone with a legitimate TLDR for $SPIR?
Lots of DeSpac news. QTEK files Chapter 11. APGN getting bought for .64. BKSY and SPIR team up.
LLAP and SPIR… maybe space shit isn’t my thing?
$SPIR had bad earnings last quarter, but todays earnings are great, if they can keep this up, it could turn out to be a big player in the new space scene because of their vertical integration
Space data companies like $SPIR
SoFi from $25 SPIR from $20 ATIP from $3
I got wrecked this week. My 2 biggest positions were SPIR and AMTX. Just terrible. Absolutely bodied.
$SPIR released earnings yesterday, and they seemed ok to me. Increased revenue, guiding for more increase in 2023. But down.05 (5%) more in early action to $0.88 after staying above $1 for most of the past three months, staying in a narrow channel from $1-$1.10 for most of the past month, and getting to $1.15 a week ago. Any thoughts?
Anyone have any thoughts on $SPIR earnings report?
Let's look at a fundamentals play. What if you could buy a hyper growth company increasing revenue over 100% yoy. Sounds expensive you say? What if it's trading right now at less than 2x revenue? It's a weather satellites company. They have over 150 sattalites in the air. They have a plan to profitability, they have been meeting their goals on that front. They have plenty of cash and a credit facility at 7% interest which is enough to reach profitability. Anyways look a SPIR.
Lost about 2k on crypto, banked most of the rest from GME and most of my long plays have been a game of averaging down of course but hopefully I’ll bounce back whenever the stock market picks back up. Main play right now is SPIR with 1000 shares at an avg $1.15 and trying to avg down more when it dips lower. Pretty lame stuff for WSB haha but always have my eye out for other stuff to play with.

SPIR. Every quarter earnings has been above projections. They keep signing new contracts and seem to be well managed. Last earnings estimated positive cash flow 2023, ahead of schedule. As with all these SPACs, they are shorted down into the $1 range. If they can stick it out with the shorts in this bear market I’m going to retire!
I keep buying SPIR. I truly think this one will make it. Every earnings has beat expectations and predicted cash flow positive by next year. If they do, this could rocket!
I'll confess, I bought a lot of SPIR recently under $1.10. Have had UTZ since CCH, too, but that's doing great; I plan to let more calls exercise in January. Just ate a bunch of Fried Dill Pickle chips.

Probably pretty likely, given a) the value of the offer (0.20 shares per warrant would be worth $0.24 at today’s $1.20 SPIR stock price) meaningfully exceeds the pre announcement warrant values of $0.10-0.15 ish, b) there are a bunch of support agreements signed by institutional holders indicating they are in favor of the deal and c) the risk that holders miss might be forced to take less means those on the fence should accept the offer, sort of a self fulfilling outcome Support agreement piece: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1816017/000119312522286843/d381035dex995.htm

The offer is to trade each warrant for 0.200 shares (so for example if you have 100 warrants, participating would result in you owning no more warrants but 20 SPIR shares instead). Holders can choose not to participate, but risk that if enough other holders do participate (more than 65% of the total outstanding), the holders who do not might be forced to accept 0.180 shares instead
SPIR was a spac. It's hits it revenue targets but the multiple has gone down to 2-3 times sales. Still growing over 100% year over year, and as of last quarter has 99 million ARR with a current market cap of 211 million. This is a very cheap stock. They project profitability in a year and a half and regularly meet targets. Will they run out of cash and credit before they hit free cash flow positive? That's the bet. If they make it to profitability then it's a 10X easy. If they fail it's a zero. The business itself is a software subscription business that uses radio satellites to compile and analyze data. Everything from weather prediction to smuggling interdiction. Government is the main client, but they also have commercial clients like global shipping companies and airlines that are customers.
I like Spire (SPIR). They're a little satellite company who gets a lot of contract deals with NASA. They were a SPAC, fell off hard this year, but the contracts keep coming in for them. They're my "fun" investment, because I like space and satellites and NASA.

I have some companies that were SPAC's like SPIR and BKSY. I didn't buy that shit at 10 though. I am a value investor. I sift through trash looking for what might be gold. My cost basis on SPIR is 1.49 and on BKSY is 2.08. I am down a little but not that bad. In 2020 I bought OXY for 10.50 and SM at like 2 dollars. Both went down on me before they rocketed back up. Now is the time to sift through rubble looking for deals.
SPIR. This company is beating earnings estimates each quarter and keeps adding contracts. Expecting to be cash flow positive in 16-24 months if not earlier if they keep adding new contracts. Heavily shorted and chilling around 1.40 now. This company is well run and in a few years when this gets back to its original valuation or higher I’m retiring. Buying a few hundred every week at these prices. Oh, and also SOFI
Today a bunch of my beaten down stocks popped hard. SPIR was up 10%. I lightened my bags. I think we have another trip down.
ZUCKERBERG! You cuckmonster! Fuck you for 120 days cumulative Facebook restriction during the Ukrainian War of Independence, you're a fucking traitor. Now you lock me out of my account pending two-factor authentication??? I don't even keep a cellphone! Fuck you, you spoiled privileged Ivy League noncombatant coward, you're a fucking passenger in this country defended by braver Americans than yourself. How's your fucking META stock price? I'll take every last dollar from you and Musk both if you betray our country, if you fuck Ukraine, if you side with Putin. Unlock my account, you regarded capitalist noncombatant coward. Position: Shares of SCHW, DELL, INTC, GE, SPIR, BE, TLRY, CRON, CGC. INTC 31 call, 4 November. SPIR 3 calls, 19 January 2024.
SPIR just did a shelf offering recently, PL and RKLB both are well capitalized if memory serves me right in the space spacs. Rdw, Asts, Asts, Mnts all at risk I’ll probably dig into the seed round valuations this weekend to see who is at the biggest discount
The Washington Commanders defeated the Bears. Bears losing = mega bull sign for tomorrow and beyond. More SPY calls it is. Hail to The Commanders, Hail Victory, Burgundy on the Warpath, Fight for old DC! If I ever make enough money off you cucks playing this silly-ass green line/red line betting game, I'm going to move back to my own hometown. #HTTC Position: Shares (don't @ me) of SCHW, GE, INTC, DELL, BE, SPIR, CRON, TLRY, CGC. Plus all the cash I made off 1dte SPY calls today. God bless and Godspeed.
Probably a lot who did late funding rounds in 2020-2021 prior to going public, but I’d be careful using it as an investment basis because that probably also tilts to those with heavy cash burn who will need to raise again soon. SPIR looks at risk of that, PL looks fine for a while.
It’d be great to see if there’s a way to check which spacs are trading below their pre ipo valuations years back, pretty sure PL is one of those as well as SPIR
"In case u need to lose a boner fast." Well, maybe Elon Musk really was playing 3D chess, being a shitty Putin apologist/appeaser and then offering to buy Twitter - maybe this was his dirty sneaky way of getting out of it. Either way, it sure killed my Elon boner, paradigm-shifting electric cars or not. Fuck No this man should not be allowed to purchase Twitter, one of the largest social media platforms in USA. WTF, Musk? Get onboard and in formation with Team America. I appreciate the Starlink and the comms and all you are doing for Ukraine. But Ukraine will not give one fucking inch of their land to the Russians, and if you don't understand that then you capitalists should stick to capitalism and leave the warfighting to us warfighters. Position: SPY 407.5 call 14 Oct, SPIR 3 calls January 2024, equity in SCHW, GE, INTC, DELL, BE, SPIR, CRON, TLRY. Yes I'm holding shares again, don't @ me. The optimal strategy is neither pure dividend investing nor pure 0dte FD's - the optimal strategy is a hybrid combination of accumulating shares and also high-risk/high-reward options trading.

60 SPIR and 30 BKSY, currently small bets only across the whole sector, cause I need to exit my dumbass WBD and ZIM leverage positions first. Reason why I'm posting them is cause I intern at a company which is trying to make a public space index and these together with Maxar (I have 7), Rocket lab (25), Planet labs (20) and AST Spacemobile (no position yet cause I think that'll fall before it goes higher) seem to be the best set for the future from all of the incredibly super risk companies that are space startups.
Spire $SPIR and BlackSky $BKSY are going to be really really big in the future guys mark my words! give it 5 years and these companies will have a revenue of multiple billion each. Spire is pretty much all in on Earth observation asset tracking (e.g. cargo ships, trains, you name it) which will get much larger audience from commodity traders (the market is set to grow by 150% by 2031 and that's actually based on average growth from last couple years, so it's probably gonna be even more), while BlackSky is mainly a military EO company which basically can't fail as it's already got a lot of DARPA and other contracts. The future is in space my fellow regards!
