I’m in TTCF, sigh. I bought stock only after I tried the veg bowls at Target and the frozen veg bags appeared in Whole Foods. I thought all their products were tasty and convenient. Just before the collapse they showed up in a big way at Vons/Safeway. I saw no reason they should fail. I still don’t. But at least I’ll have a big write down on taxes.

I'm sorry i didn't realize you are this much of an idiot who can't realize that 2 mil loss won't appear in the account because he fucking lost the money, that 2mil is from stocks that we know he invested in and lost money on, here are some figures that he himself said he invested in previous vids TTCF: 1 mil Voyeger: 300K HNST: 30k planet13:70k SDC:50k oatley:60k Avant brands: 50k That's 1.5 mil but some of these figures are just from the puplic account and he himself said that he had invested more on some of these stocks in the private account so 2 mil estimate isn't making shit up it's just doing basic math from the puplic account + hints that he dropped here and there about the private account. BTW these are just the worst picks from the last couple of years, he has lost much more over the years as for the reason on why these loses doesn't appear on his portfolio is because he keeps adding to it using the money he grifted from morons such as yourself.

r/stocksSee Comment

Please tell me what shit did i make up. Lefufu has hinted in an interview with graham that his total portfolio value is between 6 to 8 mil and that was when stocks were soaring (2021) so 2 mil is a large percentage to fuck around with even if he has alot of money. If you want to know how i know he put 2 mil in those stocks you can just watch his videos to see how much he invested in voyeger TTCF planet13 oatley HNST and SDC just to name a few. if you want to keep drinking the lefufu koolaid by all means do so i'm sure you will be part of his 7 figure club following his advice.

Im going to give you some valuable advice I wish I knew this when I was your age. I started investing at 18 and I’m now 22 but you have the opportunity to learn from my mistakes. Please do not invest in companies that have little to no revenue, are burning cash, and are based off of pure hype and speculation. Most people refer to these as “meme stocks” such as SPCE, LCID, GOEV, ARVL, TTCF, and many SPAC’s (look those up, there was a huge SPAC craze a couple of years ago where many unprofitable cash burning companies went public through these things). You will lose a lot of money if you invest in these companies if they cannot reach profitability. You cannot trust all these fancy Presentations that companies make. I’ll give you an example of the top of my head,I think Lucid estimated their revenue for 2023 would be 5.5 billion and just recently they announced only 150M of revenue for Q2 so these estimates are way off and you cannot take them seriously. The safest and easiest plan for you would just dollar cost average into VTSAX or VOO or if you want you can try and invest in individual stocks but you need to pick companies that are actually profitable with a sound business model.

r/stocksSee Comment

Sometimes he comes up with good ideas. Sometimes real stinkers. He often sells too hard. If you watch for ideas, you are okay. DON'T buy something because he says to. You have to know why you are buying something and have your own investment thesis. I never understood why he was so into TTCF. PayPal looks attractive. Anyone who picks stocks is going to have winners and losers. Ultimately, you have to be responsible for the stocks you buy. If you don't feel comfortable with that, just stick with ETFs. Seriously, you will be better off in VOO than if you are buying individual stocks without really knowing why you own them. Nothing wrong with setting aside 10% of your portfolio to invest in individual stocks. That way if you make big mistakes, it won't be the end of the world.

No. I know this because the likes of TTCF, HNST, OTLY, SDC, Etc… we’re all in his public account. Now, when he shows it, they are no where to be found!

r/stocksSee Comment

I used to watch him a lot 2 years ago. Almost all of his stock picks have either went bankrupt or cratered in price. TTCF, HNST, SDC, CRSR, and Voyager. The only stock that hasn't been terrible that I remember is WYNN.

r/stocksSee Comment

I watch him because, for some reason, my kid brother (who is 22), used to listen to the guy. I try to help the young kids because the guy is a fool…by way of example: He lost ALL of his money on Voyager Digital. ($250,000.00). — realized He lost $1,100,000.00 on TTCF. — realized. He is DOWN $1,000,000.00 on HNST — no one knows if he sold or not because he hides his position. He is down $1,000,000.00 on OTLY. Same as above What he does is moves these large positions to his “private portfolio” and never speaks of them again. Subsequently, he pushes that he is up in META, TSLA and ELF. (Which he is, to the tune of about Comically, he claims to “massively be beating the S&P”, which is funny considering he has over $1,300,000 of realized losses this year, versus gains of about $575,000! The most amazing thing to me is that he hasn’t been shut down by the SEC, especially considering how much money he has lost young investors who follow him.

I’ve been following his channel for years (for fun) and Ive worked for a couple years in equity research, so I know a thing or two about stock valuations, portfolio management, etc. First understand that pretty much any content on Youtube is for entertainment, not serious investing. Any channel that is seriously focused on investing is going to show valuation models like DCF and go much more in-depth. That’s not to say that Jeremy doesn’t provide any value. The value that I get from his channel is entertainment and quick bites. I don’t have time to watch CNBC all day and listen to conference calls, so once in a while I tune into his channel to catch up on the market. He does a pretty good with this. As far as his stock picks go, yes his success is largely due to a few outliers like Tesla, ELF, and Meta. Whether or not he got lucky is debatable and doesn’t really matter. The same argument can be made of successful portfolio managers and those who underperform the market. The important to remember is that past success doesn’t guarantee future results. Tesla was largely a once in a lifetime type of return. Even if Jeremy strongly believed in the company, which I believe he did, anyone who says there wasn’t an element of luck is kidding themselves. But again, Tesla was a giant outlier, it 20x in less than 3 years, which is better than Google, Amazon, Microsoft have ever done in such a span throughout their history. And these are the most successful companies in the world. Without Tesla, his returns are likely far less impressive. Meta was a great call earlier this year. Others like TTCF, Voyager Digital pretty much went to $0. I think it was irresponsible for him to push these stocks so hard in 2020-2022 without acknowledging the very real risks. Jeremy isn’t stupid, and he definitely could have done better here. These days he’s pushing Amazon and Paypal - two stocks i own. He makes good points for both, but I’m not buying these stocks because Jeremy told me to buy them. Amazon is a compounder and will likely keep growing over the next 3-5, 10 years. Their also number 1 in e-commerce and cloud, number 3 or 4 in digital advertising, and growing in a bunch of other verticals. Paypal is more of a value play, hopefully not a value trap. The company generates billions of dollars in free cash flow, and hopefully they can keep growing and expand their foothold in the payments space either through organic growth or acquisitions. I believe Paypal has limited downside at this point and is relatively low risk.

I watch pretty much all his videos. Overall I think he’s pretty good. He’s obviously made some mistakes with TTCF and OTLY but has done incredibly well with TSLA, ELF, and more recently META. He was also buying PLTR at basically all time lows and was able to eloquently state his bull thesis and why he believed it was undervalued. People get to caught up in his losses probably because he’s a public figure. Warren Buffet has been wrong on a lot of stocks and the man is still considered one of the best investors of all time. Everyone wants to contribute others peoples successes to luck but their own successes as skill. They also contribute their losses as bad luck. People in these comments seem awfully salty.

If you (or the person you are referring to) are determined to do this, I'll suggest a somewhat-safe strategy that is beginner-friendly. Find a stock that trades for less than $10/share and which fits your risk tolerance, then sell and roll cash secured puts on it while you save some more money. Note: Trading options without the collateral to secure them is basically gambling. If you lose your $500-1000 right away, you won't be able to trade any more until you save it up again. (I usually recommend novice options traders have at least $5000 available and start with some education.) I used to sell puts on NYCB, accepting assignment to buy the shares when it got close to an ex dividend date, then accepting assignment and selling covered calls expiring after the dividend. But the share price has risen too much to be able to trade it with only $1000 now. Some puts I have sold that can be secured with less than $1000 are HBI, GDRX, NVAX, SPCE, and TTCF. TTCF traded down to zero, but I made enough income selling puts and covered calls to offset most of my losses before it did. :-) These are "play money" trades for me, and only make up a tiny portion of my portfolio. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch options on them. [Patricia Saylor, Teaching Novice Investors and Novice Options Traders](https://www.saylorfinancialfundamentals.com/)

You need to sell the shares. More importantly, I would get 100 other investors in TTCF, go to an attorney, and file a class action lawsuit against the guy (Jeremy Lefebvre). Further, go to his YouTube channel and save the videos where he says they’re going to “10x” and “they’re going to be bigger than Tesla”. He’s not a financial advisor and he purveyed a “guarantee” that the stock was going to 10x. Fact of the matter is that he bailed out of the stock, I believe, at roughly $1.33 per share (he lost over $1,300,000.00) and he has a lot of younger followers who take him at face value. He had the gull, I believe a month ago, to come out with a video on how he is “crushing” the S&P 500, and his moronic viewers believe him, yet he doesn’t disclose how much he lost (realized) on his sell of TTCF. He needs to be shut down. Too many people are throwing away their future following this guy. I’m certain a law firm OR the sec would punish him if there were enough investors in TTCF that pursued it.

The reason SPY, VOO, VTI are recommended so much is because they are a basket of stocks and the bad ones are removed for you. They also don't have earnings reports. They don't have P/E ratios. So it is an easy recommendation for someone that doesn't want to do homework on stocks or doesn't know what they are doing. Some of the individual stocks recommended might not be around in 3 months let alone 30 years. TTCF, RIDE, and BBBY are a couple that have gone bankrupt this year.

Forum Merger Corporation sponsored four SPACs. The first, Forum Merger Corporation ( FMCI FMCIW) announced a business combination with ConvergeOne, "a leading global IT services provider of collaboration and technology solutions" on December 1, 2017. The business combination was completed on February 23, 2018, *about three months later*. Ah, the good old days. On January 4, 2019, ConvergeOne was taken back private by CVC Capital Partners Ltd.'s CVC Fund VII for $12.50 per share; so ConvergeOne spent less than one year as a public company. The second, Forum Merger II Corporation ( FMCI FMCIW ) became Tattooed Chef in October 2020, and now TTCF declared bankruptcy almost three years later. The third, Forum Merger III Corporation ( FIII FIIIW ) completed the business combination with Electric Last Mile in June 2021. In June 2022, ELMS filed for bankruptcy on June 22, 2022 ELMS assets were purchased by Mullen Automotive ( MULN ), which is a company descended from a SPAC ( Cazador Acquisition Corporation Ltd ) that IPO'd back in 2010. The fourth, Forum Merger IV Corporation ( FMIV FMIVW ), liquidated this month without finding a deal.

MK (not going to say actual name because it’ll get taken down) is pretty decent in my opinion. He puts out a lot of good stock market news with good input. I would say he’s probably the most intelligent financial YouTuber out there. The amount of information he puts out is a lot though and it can all just sound like noise at the end of the day. Just ignore the course member pitches and you’ll be good. Financial education Jeremy is good too I think. A lot of people give him shit because he bought a lot of TTCF and it’s probably going to go bankrupt. He also bought a ton of META under $90 and PLTR when it was trading for like $6 a share. He definitely helped me get through the sell off in 2022 and I was loading up stocks the entire time thanks to a lot of the information he was putting out. Now my growth portfolio is up 70% YTD. Other than those two I don’t really like any other financial YouTubers. Listen to some good financial podcasts too like the all in podcast and bigger pockets for real estate

“Financial Education” aka Jeremy Lefebvre. The guy took a $1.3 million dollar, realized, loss on TTCF, three months ago. Posts a video, comically, showing his YTD gains in Meta, Tesla and Elf — totaling about $475,000.00. Best part is in the video he says he is CRUSHING the S&P by over 30% but, apparently, he doesn’t know how to do simple math, IE: he took a realized LOSS of $1,300,000, with unrealized gains of $475,000 “ish”. The worst part is there are some folks in the comment section who defend the guy as a “guru” and “market genius”. It’s scary how people don’t know how to do math! This guys, Lefebvre, is a complete moron and, frankly, I can’t believe he hasn’t been busted by the SEC!

Jeremy from Financial Education is by far the worst. Complete moron who got lucky in a bull market, grew a huge following, and now thinks he’s a genius investor. His latest failure in burning all of his and tons of his followers money in a trash unprofitable small cap stock $TTCF is inexcusable for anyone who claims to be a great investor. There were way too many investing fundamental red flags ignored and missed.

I've watched him since 2019, and here's my take. 1. I'll just start by saying this, imo, out of all the investing channels that go through individual stocks and give out explicit opinions ( i.e. this stock is a buy/sell/hold. I'm buying this and that) his probably comes out on top. worse case top 3-5 ( depending on the viewers financial literacy and needs), #1 for me though. (the bar in this category isn't particularly high, because it's tricky and financially certified/licensed youtubers avoid it like the plague) 2. Credit where credit is due, he did get lucky with Tesla, big time, not only he bought low when no one was buying, he also held until he 20Xed. which very few people have actually done. But don't forget that he did serious DD, had a thesis and stood his ground for 1 year+ while the stock was stagnant/tanking and then 4 years on the run. 3. Now the misconception is that he got lucky on Tesla, and that's it. But actually he made amazing stock picks throughout the years, and the impressive thing he would consistently sell around the top to rotate to a better play (aka he did not hold everything at the same time). 4. I'll go through the stocks that come to mind ( numbers may not be 100% accurate, but basically in the ball park). he 2Xed on FIZZ , he 3Xed on RVLV, he 2-3Xed on META, he 5Xed on ELF (probably more), he 1.5X on JP, 2X AAPL, 2Xed QCOM, 2-3X IRBT, 2X SWKS... 5. Did he drop the ball, Yes. VGFC is basically worthless (he knew the risk), TTCF is down 91% from when he started buying (he had a significant % of his portfolio tied up there), VYGV (went bankrupt, he did not anticipate such sudden risk). 6. Jeremy's performance is not the point of this channel ( even though, on average, it's pretty good) the point is to follow him learn from his success and mistakes, he has a public/private portfolio that he sometimes shares on his youtube and he always have a thesis for each one of his trades and each of his stocks. And most of all his investing fundamentals are consistent. 7. I'll address the low quality videos, yes most of his videos are low quality at this point, for the last 2 years he's basically saying buy the dip. when he has to make 2-3 videos a day for years, saying the same message again and again, low quality videos are basically expected. And he made the decision to sell out to the algorithm. As a long time viewer this does bother me, but I rather have filler videos between valuable videos as opposed to inconsistent uploads. I would recommend following his channel for a bit longer period of time to get what's the channel's about, it's literally a Long term investing channel (boring, I know). on top of that he currently mostly caters to his discord and patreon which you know are paid, and not cheap. 8. imo, the biggest takeaway from his channel is to learn investing fundamentals, you know, buy and hold, buy when people are fearful, sell when people are greedy, buy when there's blood in the streets. Stick to the plan, stick to your thesis. watch earning calls, read 10Ks read 10Qs and read them twice ( which I never heard any other youtuber say). 9. Now if you're watching his channel and not disagreeing with him often regarding specific stock DD and thesis, do yourself a favor, stop watching, unsub, buy an index fund. otherwise you'll lose a lot of money. At the end of the day you have to make your own decisions. I hope this makes sense. I'll answer any questions if I missed something.

The only way you can play a stock like HYLN is to have absolute balls of steel, and to only hope for a 5 percent move. You take all your money and you buy HYLN at a new 52 week low of $1.17. Then you hold for a 5 percent pop. You set your sell order at $1.23. That's about all you can do with garbage like this. TTCF is another one that you can do this with. The problem is, if you happen to buy right before the market takes a big dump on some macroeconomic data, and then HYLN is down around 88 cents per share, and you're worried that you're going to lose your entire life savings. But, if you want to mess around with penny stocks, this how you do it. You just want a nice little 5 percent pop here and there. Stick and move, like in boxing. Jump in, jump out. Take a quick profit, and live to see another day. Of course, tremendous amount of danger as well. AUR is a better ticker if you actually want to try to hold for the long term. The former president of Waymo is running Aurora Innovation. The danger with them, like all of these penny stocks, is that they could run out of cash before they have a chance to do anything. The reason these kind of stocks are being decimated right now, is because they aren't making any money, they have to borrow money to survive, and borrowing money is WAY more expensive in 2023/2024 than it was in say 2020/2021

Deploy the $32k, like others have said, into SPY / VOO. Frankly, the concerning part is that you’re looking for a “bullish genre to recoup your losses”. All this will do is lead to more losses. Investing IS fun, but it’s not a game. Quality names, namely index fund ETF’s, would be the best route for you. (I do the same thing and Dabble in high quality individual stock names, such as: Lyondell Basell, Google, Adobe, etc…) Stocks like: GameStop, AMC, Bed Bath and Beyond, TTCF, Honest Companies, Smile Direct Club, etc…are going to get you hammered. In your late twenties you still have HUGE opportunity in front of you, by way of example, $32k @ 7% for 30 years (which would make you late 50’s of age) would equate to: $227,656.00 approximately. I don’t understand why everyone makes this stuff so complex. If you don’t understand a business. If you don’t understand a balance sheet and income statement, frankly, you don’t have any business buying risky “YouTuber” stocks. Keep your life simple: BUY VOO

I can tell you I watched him during his rise in 2020 to fall in 2022 and he was exposed countless times on his 0-100k challenge. He has told people completely incorrect information on the basics of trading (selling puts). Pays bot accounts to give him overly obvious positive comments and deletes the overwhelming negative ones. If you are a beginner I would recommend you take a wide berth away from any company he recommends especially his penny stocks. I remember him pushing TTCF at $20+ a share hard saying #loadup #125sharesminimum #homerun #putyourfeetup. Other hilarious pumps of his FTFT, RIDE, AVPT, HYLN, oh and I forgot about saying to buy ETH Classic at $150 a coin. Literally if you followed any of his advice from 2020-2021 you would be down at minimum of 50-75% your initial investment.
