I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that. I'm not playing for today's pump, I'm holding long term. Looking at $DNA, $STRC, $SABS, especially $BKSY, in my portfolio. Both BKSY and ACEV warrants were about 0.17 yesterday, BKSY commons $1.70. If TMPO stays above that, warrants should go up. Which means I won't get a better entry in TMPOW than I had in ACEVW the past few weeks.

Looks like holding my $ACEVW through merger is going to be the right move (as it should be, warrants should be pricing in risk of merger failure, so they should go up once successful). Not tradeable yet in Fidelity, but I wasn't planning on selling today anyways.

I like ACEVW. You can get it now $0.11, but it's been under $0.10 often.

Anyone following ACEV/ACEVW? News came out a few days ago that I thought was bad, but warrants are up 50-100% on significant volume. I'm pleasantly confused, but wondering if anyone else had an opinion. My best guess is that now that the transaction has been simplified, it's more likely to actually complete?

Latest filing from ACEV is announcing a meeting to extend the merger deadline once again. This time from July 13 to Oct 13. No meeting date that I can see yet but today would have been the last date to own commons in order to take part in the future vote. I've already more than halved my warrants' CB from 1.22 to .57 and ACEVW is currently at 18¢ hmmm I risk the deal falling thru but could be a good opportunity to buy more if there's going to be another 3+ months...

I'm thinking very short term. Cut losses on a pre DA warrant position, used that to buy SNAX and bounced back, now trying to make a merger play with my existing ACEVW position. The lesson is to have more cash on hand

As far as I can tell, There's no reason for ACEVW to be -40% on the day at 2-3x normal volume.

Damn, props to those still in UTAA!! I been accumulating W's post unit split then sold the week it popped for 30-40%. That's the way she goes- will no doubt be more trading opportunities with this one and seems like a great team. If you sell early just keep telling yourself profit is profit. Kept most the money in pre-DA to start a position in TGAAW @ .27. Fantastic day for ACEVW holders, way way way higher volume than average which I'm thinking is because of the merger vote date confirmation of 5/5. I'm predicting a little dip then steady climb into May 🤞 Feeling a lot more comfortable with my ORGN bags, confident with my open GGPI 15C's, and obligatory fuck MVST.

ACEVW up 35% on 10x average daily volume. Glad that I'm heavy in this one, looking forward to merge.

Currently my favs are ACEVW, APSG+, GSQD+, OUSWX, and EJFA+. Keeping my cost basis very very low. PROCW has good risk/reward with earnings coming soon. BMTX+ has held up well, but earnings are coming up soon which will be a binary event. I don't like binary events. MEKA too, but no warrants.

r/SPACsSee Comment

It's up almost 11%, could be be they released they are on guidance for rev. Volume just over a mil so nothing extraordinary. Outside of my ACEVW everything else is 1-2%ish

Not necessarily. Not toast as much as increased risk. ACEVW lost their target but found another. Warrants have bounced around from reduced risk to increased. Some spac warrants will end up worthless. Some won't.

So not true. I got burned bad on ACEVW and MLAC. And a few other bad buys. But did well on MUDS, LEGO, LATN and a few other names. If I “pump” something, I try to clearly indicate why I think it’s going up. Read back thru my posts. I will say “this seems like crap but has a lot of interest behind it”. Or I try to give my reasons why I think it will do well. I got burnt trying to play the silly squeeze plays. Luckily I got a big win on GWAC early on to offset those. The only stock I have “pumped” shamelessly on here was LATN/PROC. And I made it clear that I had a large position. I also pumped it hard when it was in the .60-85 cent range. Anyone that joined me did well.

KORE, NRXP, OPAD, and even ACEVW doing really well this morning. This is why SPACs are so enticing.

I have learned to dump SPAC warrants at any hint of merger delay. There haven’t been any positive surprises that come from delays that I am aware of. Just negative. Got burnt huge on ACEVW. Vowed not to let that happen again.

I'm currently holding 35 pre-DA warrant positions. About 1/2 are within your criteria for 'ATL' of 10%. 1/2 aren't. Lowest ones I have (cheap and close to ATL) are NOACW, ANACWS, ACEVW, BWACW. >being just 10% above ATL means nothing when you consider the type of swings warrants can have especially on low volume). The ones near your 10% threshold could easily to be up another 10% tomorrow. >Also, I am talking about SPACs not deSPACs. If you're trying to decide what 'market sentiment' is, you should probably consider the whole picture. Warrants sure can go quite a bit lower, I'm not saying they won't. But since I'm looking for longer term post-DAs, I'm more concerned with good targets than day to day price action. So feel free to be a pessimist, I'll be an optimist, and we'll see how it works out.

That’s the pool I’ve been swimming in. LATNW for .75. GIGGW for .70. Seems like a pretty safe play. Even MUDSW and ACEVW that imploded are in the .65 -.70 range. So the downside seems limited. Granted a play like LATNW is riskier because the SPAC itself is nearing the end of its timeline. If the deal falls thru, it could drop to zero. But right now the deal seems solid.

I had $50k in ATIP commons and warrants. Got smacked hard. Make back half by tripping down on the commons at $3 and dumping at 4.50. Had a lot of ACEVW too…. But got more LEGOW than anything else. Got steel!

I was on track to make it back until the last couple of days when I made some bad trades. Plus I kept 40% of my ACEVW which was a big kick to the junk today. Stupid over-valued crap. I need to review the portfolio and dump anything that DA’d in Jan/Feb. The valuations then were insane.

High scorers? Hardly any to my knowledge. While they seem to appreciate more than commons. Commons have floor of $10 as NAV. Warrants have none. Today ACEVW broke up a merger attempt. Warrant prices tubled -55%. Common is very low also.

25k STIC-WT. It was a long hold, but I like where it’s going now. I wonder if my ACEVW and THBRW will ever not be dogs...

r/SPACsSee Comment

Warrants might be the way out for some people. Sometimes they move unparalleled to the commons, and things like CTACW and ACEVW are dropping to sub $1 soon. I'd be trying to catch those and get out on any bounce.

Decent options for doubles in a few months: FAII/WS @ 1.45 - merging with ATI physical therapy. I see this as a fat America RE-opening play VSPRW @ 2.45 - hydra facial. Non-sexy merger. But it’s an older one. Valuation was done before the Jan/Feb pop. Another Re-opening play. ACEVW or THBRW @ 2.40. - semiconductors... how can you go wrong? I see them getting some hype/pop at merger. They are beat down now due to SPAC malaise (and honestly being overvalued and having some issues). But issues aside, it seems reasonable that growing semiconductor companies could hit $15 at some point in the next five years before the warrants expire. I think any of these four is a better gamble than the PRE-LOI options floating around. Or rolling the dice on an overpriced EV play. And they still offer that chance for a home run upside that seems to be missing now in buying commons at NAV.

I can't say if it's right, but it seems to me your thought process is sound given what we know about SPACs right now, and the extra issues of your size position. (Wish I had those problems) I've already bought some SRNGU, but I'm still holding my BFTWS, ACEVW, SFTWWS, APPHW, and a few others I like. So I'm curious to know, especially given the liquidity issues you mentioned and your previous high conviction with BFT, why not just split? I don't think BFTWS are much more than a month ago. Why all in on SRNGU?
