Yup, IBM is so engrained in the big company IT departments they are hard to displace. IBM has AIX their own proprietary operating system based on UNIX. When I walk in trying to sell the IBM dudes, it is almost always dudes, they do not want to learn new tech at all. They want their jobs to be secure and no new tech unless it is IBM new tech.
