I have 100 AVDX @10 avg. Once it shot back up to 12.50 I bought a 2/16 12.5p because the trend has been for it to fall back to around 7.50. I’ve held this stock for around 18 months and plan on keeping my small position long term but I know I can lock my profit and re enter at a cheaper price without loosing all my gains this way. I could roll it but it’s a really low volume option stock with a pretty consistent trend line.
Moon, my ass. The latest IPO I have been involved in was AVDX . Public st $25. High $27. Lockup released in March when it was $9. Now trading at $7.79. I"m lucky my basis is $0.15.
Still staring at SOFI…..AVDX is a disappointment….YOU is a huge disappointment…..SQ…Jesus Christ….I’m sticking with the S&P500. Plain and boring…
Interesting volume spike on AVDX
Out of curiosity checking mine: IPOs I held for more than a day: HOOD +54% SEV +59% Day trades @ IPO or within a week of IPO. BRLT +3% AVDX +1.9% COCO +2.8% SDIG +7.1% IPOs were definitely good to me last year, but I'm not sure I'd hold any of that long-term. Most of those trades were me selling pretty quickly. SEV I held for a few days and HOOD for a couple weeks if memory serves. I had a ton of IPOs that either weren't filled or only partially filled due to the flipper policy.
Check out AVDX . Newly IPO. Revenues up 30 % year over year almost from when they opened the doors. Some high powered investors like Peter Thiel and Master card.
