I'm going to call it a day, up 7.7% on the portfolio. I put my mind to getting this trading thing down & today I was more on my rule than ever before; reviewing them this morning helped. **The biggest thing I practiced was managing my losses. Even though both $NNBR & $NIXX came back** ($NIXX absolutely flew from my $1.38 buy)**, making sure to have my head right made a world of difference.** Shoutout to $AZI, $NNBR, $ZCMD, $KUST & $UPC for the gains. I opportunistically loaded $AVDV & $FNDC, 2 small-cap ETFs that I want to accumulate over time, as well as a bit of $RAIN; I have to day-trade as well because otherwise the portfolio won't grow (it's an IRA & I'm unemployed), but I'd love to get to where I can set & forget some positions. Tomorrow's a new day with new opportunities. I'm happy to let the portfolio compound for a day... Good luck to everyone!

Entered NEXR in premarket and then no much movement, sold for a small loss so that I can get into AZI...whoop Azi started going down five minutes after my entry and NEXR took off the minute I left. I had a really bad two weeks after a wonderful week at the start of June.....

These China microcap pumps are getting wild. CCTG, AZI, and the others you mentioned are classic low float squeeze plays riding retail FOMO with basically zero fundamental catalysts. The pattern is always the same - they rip 200-500% intraday then give most of it back within a day or two when the volume dries up. I've been using the watchlist scanner every morning to catch these setups early. It ranks all the gap plays by quality score and flags the pump-and-dump candidates versus legitimate breakouts. Today it would have surfaced most of these names in the "Explosive Movers" section with low quality scores due to the speculative nature. If you're trading these, get in early and get out fast. The music always stops eventually and when it does, the elevator down is much faster than the escalator up.
