Thanks. I think that’s possible too. According to Finviz, there’s more short interest now than there was at the time when it spiked at the end of February. Finviz says the short interest is 20% while Fintel says it’s almost 30%. I own shares of it at around $1.9. I asked if anyone here actually believes in it because I’ve seen a lot of comments about it here recently but I can’t tell whether people actually believe in it. I view it purely as a play on the war in Iran intensifying and oil spiking again. If oil continues to spike (which is definitely a strong possibility with the way things are looking), that should bode very well for BATL, as people will likely rush to buy it along with other oil stocks like it. We saw that play out today and back in February when it initially spiked. This could be a repeat of that in a smaller way. Instead of reaching almost $30 again, it may peak at $4 or $5, which would still be a considerable increase from here. (That may very well not happen either.) Apart from that, there’s nothing to me that suggests it’s a good company. I’ve seen much worse, but BATL is pretty bad.

Yet, on the weekly, it's precisely the opposite. The weekly has the authority over the daily. Usually when this happens, the price action will meander sideways until the cycle resets, or, it will start completely ignoring the indicators outright. Gapping-up on a bearish signal, is a hint that it might start doing that.
