It literally did go down. As the top votes comment says, he only came out ahead because they did reverse splits and his 1 share rounded to 1 share, but if he had, for example, 100 shares, he would only have 5 shares instead. The price of the BFRI one, adjusted for reverse splits, was essentially $118/share 3 years ago. It is now $2.43. If he had invested $1000 in BFRI he would only have $20.59 left today.

Depends on what you want to do. I convinced my dad to let me trade $500k(have no f*ckin clue how that came to be since I lost over $5k of my own), but managed to make about $25k in the last few months with very few trades. If you want to day trade, then watch day trade videos. Same with swing trading. If you’ve watched markets and stocks for awhile, then you should know a little bit about intuition. Almost all my trades were profitable if I had played them right (ATER, BFRI, TRKA, AMC, etc), but I poorly managed those trades that would’ve gained 100%. I use TradingView for RSI, MACD, Volume, VWAP. I look at high gainers with high volume and see when they hit certain indicators and I would then buy 2-10k shares for a quick 5% swing most times. Only bad trade I’ve made recently was IONM, but I screwed by a halt when I was up 10%. Hope that helps a little bit😊

The funniest part about all of this is that shorts can cover in less than 30 mins if they want. Over 100 million trading volume every day this week. There are about 4 million shares held short. You realize that averages to about 1/25 of a trading day? You realize a trading day is 6.5 hours? 390/25 = about 16 minutes to cover (based on average daily volume) If you’ve been here before, you probably remember the small cap bio plays (BFRI) with 80% SI. Why did that have multiple pumps but no “squeeze”? Because it did squeeze - multiple times - but people here thought it was just momentum because of how quick they were. What you are seeing this week is high volume scalping on a low floater, which gives shorts an easy, quick exit. We’ve seen this numerous times. That being said, be careful and take some profit off the table. You want regret it. This will not pull a “GME” because it simply cannot. Good luck.

State in the weekend thread my goal for the week is 5 green days. Looking at playing breakout setups. There isn't much out there I'm seeing, but here are the tickers: BFRI - On its 20dSMA, volume may not be there though. DUK - Big move up late march early april, 20 day needs a bit of time to catch up. VTNR - On the 20dSMA, looking for the 5dSMA to cross over it. CAR - Looks like the end of a Cup and Handle that started forming December 2021. ​ Also seriously considering puts for FB earnings. I know it could jeopardize my goal, but I feel pretty convinced we're gonna see another tough quarter for FB.
I am betting on 2 EVOK - developed and patented a new drug BFRI - not really a penny stock bit as close as you can get.

You are right and looks safe I got trap in the middle of pump squeeze after read some documents about BFRI looked even if there was no squeeze, would be solid company I still do believe this goes higher again, maybe end of the year with FDA approval

Don't take advice. There are a lot of fake accounts purposely misleading people. Redirecting and diminishing the big plays. ALSO, big plays only work if people actually do it. For instance, I keep looking for short squeezes. I got into BFRI at $7 and thought they might hit $30 because their short interest was in the 80s but they could cover in hours. They only got to $14. I ended up selling at $10. Currently I'm on EVLO at $3.60 and hopefully it hits $100. 30% interest and 28 days to cover, before their positive update on the phase 2 trial. Those shorts are jumping ship and the price is over $4. It can go up quickly if MANY people bought.
