Dude, it’s a biotech stock that’s drawn down 80%. If Sava had any tangible promise in this space, it would be at $60. The company will have its trials end in 2026, but could run out of cash before then. They’re also not treating Alz, just detecting it. There are far better names in the Alz space. PRTA is the best one imo as they target the same pathway as BIIB (only approval) and LLY, who will get FDA approval for Dona soon. PRTA’s data says the drug is 12x better, has far less ARIA risk, and is SubQ. Of course, they’re in a Ph 1, so the outlook can change quickly. But, I like the risk-reward.
Answer is always improve yourself and focus on building your habits and character…I mean just hop in on the BIIB chaos tomorrow and hope do the best!

Nice thanks for the info! Bio plays have always been scary to me but I guess the fundamentals overpower the technicals in this sector. BIIB seems somewhat predictable on the monthly charts though. Will be interesting to see how they do during a big capitulation event like March 2020 which I suspect we'll see the end of this year or at latest early next year.

It's a good time to take profit. Their Alzheimer's monoclonal antibody, while promising, is going to get beat to market by Biogen's Leqembi which will get full FDA approval and Medicare coverage by July 6th of this year. Once people start taking the infusions they aren't going to want to switch. Their weightloss drugs are going to be competing with NVO and NVO has the medicine in pill form (LLY does not) and also is going to beat Lilly to market with GLP-1 treatments for Alzheimer's if their Embark study readout is a success in 2025. In short, I think LLY is doing a lot of things right but when I look at the next 5 years I think they're going to get beat by NVO and BIIB.

You're not a loser, man. But what you say is indirectly my point. In the past, this sub would mention plays like HKD--which would open the door for those relying on this sub for plays. These types of plays offer an advantage for retail traders, offering big gain potential with an undersized risk. If they understand the concept of stop losses, of course. And it's not like I was the only one who noticed HKD today. I can bet the farm several traders here had alerts go off, or that play showed up early for them--to answer your question--just by her gains or volume.
