I do that sometimes, surprisingly it works well :) BORR is the recent example. Bought undervalued stock that pays good dividends at around $2.5 and didn't regret. I don't even remember where I found it haha
Checked my account after 2 years of no play (had a kid) BORR Drilling has me up 75%. Kids college fund just got a major upgrade. Sup nerds
Well, regarding the company itself, I had never heard of BORR nor is drilling or oil & gas in my circle of competence so I can't provide any useful insight there. If you want to just find differing information, try using a prompt to ask Claude or ChatGPT to analyze the company with a view towards the next 10 years. Obviously take everything with a boulder of salt and fact-check where needed but it can be useful to see information or perspectives you may not have considering. Beyond that, I usually try to find bearish takes in the positions I'm considering taking a stake in to see if there's anything I might've missed or my "I want to buy" bias might've shielded me from.
Should I exit my $BORR position at +48% or let it grow further for years? I have a good time horizon, I don't need the money right now but I am a bit scared I'll regret not selling when it has already printed me quite some money. I wonder if the upward trend will go on. (I purchased the bulk of my $BORR in April-May 2025)
BORR Is everyone sleeping? Potential on BORR earnings report on 8/13/2025 earnings report after hours tommorrow!
What are yall thoughts on $BORR ?
ONDS, ABCL, BORR all set to break out. SBET and KSS also looking fiiiiiine... I think this is our last chance to get SBET contracts under $10 strike
I definitely want in on this one. BORR has been pushed down all year due to contract suspensions, internal dividend moves and energy prices in general. Its due for a big rebound very soon. Just look at the charts. Operational recovery, rising oil prices and improved finances will get this one running again sooner than most folks realize. BORR trades at a lower EBITDA multiple (\~3.5x 2025E) compared to peers, so there could be a rerating if contract wins and operational execution continue. They also just deployed a new rig in Benin that hasn't been priced in yet for revenue or value. I actually think we're seeing the bottom this Friday/Monday, after which we'll see a slow upscale until Q2 2025 earnings report (August 12, 2025) which will trigger a sharp rally after positive results. Honestly this might be the best options contract value trade this weekend that we're going to get. I just checked and you can still grab a contract out to next Feb for under 40 cents.
Does this mean BORR will be back on the menu?? Cause if so Im grabbin some more 😃
Last I found interesting enough to do a big was BTG, currently at 16% net up which is more than I like so maybe I should sell some for the moment. I have a gamble spot in BORR recently but that is a risky one indeed.
Thoughts on BORR? The news seems positive from what I've seen. Has a good forecast. I think I'm going to buy in. Has anyone found any news that isn't good here?
Don’t sleep on BORR either, trust me something big is coming
Get BORR stock, something big is coming
I think SLDP and BORR is good safe bets short therm.( ie hold until early January)
Holding KULR long term _ish_ and maybe selling MVST post news. Looking at OPTT, ELPT and will be doing a bit of DD on BORR, looks very promising and I think it has a future.
Want to go in on BORR, next earnings call is Feb, so might try before then, but earnings for the company looks very strong
I have a few BORR’s too and pays a dividend
I’ve got a pretty long BORR DD on my page if you’re interested
Why BORR? I have it on my watchlist but I am still not sure. Would like to see other poeple approach on this one. I am not so keen on oil plays but sotry sounds solid
LTRX and BORR are my top two for strong growth in 2025x
That’s my take as well. LTRX and BORR are both going to move towards double digits. The risk on both of these is pretty limited as they are both solid established companies set up for breakouts.
Just had a short look, BORR is breaking into profits now, and big ones at that. Looks undervalued to me
I totally agree. I ChatGPT’d BORR like an hour ago and I was pretty impressed with their trajectory. It seems like they are locked and loaded and have their ducks in a row.
I think BORR has a lot of potential. I was looking into BORR when everything dropped during the pandemic. Unfortunately it hasn’t made much movement in the last 4 years.
Been watching BORR for a while waiting for an entry. What’s your avg and price target?
Of course. I got my toes in TMQ UUUU and BORR. looking for some more copper plays in Alaska. Bailing on NAK. The rest of my portfolio is in China
Just bought into BORR. Building my positions in this and HOVR. Thanks for the insight, love the optimism on this one
ONVO OPTT KULR RGTI BBLG LODE BORR RR CTM. Woooowweeee
Idk how optimistic others are, but I can speak to the suspensions and why they don’t concern me personally. Aramco issued suspensions for multiple rigs operating in Saudi Arabia. 12 months suspensions, most haven’t even begun yet. BORR only has 1 rig impacted. Last time this happened they were able to reassign the rig to a new 5 year contract rather quickly, that contract comes on the books in 2025. As I stated, utilization is one of their strong suits. Plus the suspension had more to do with aramco limiting the number of operators than it did BORR doing something wrong. And finally, they have 22 active rigs, most of which are under contract extending 2025. A single suspension on a rig in Saudi Arabia, I won’t say it’s nothing it’s something, but in the grand scheme of things did not warrant the sell off that has been occurring. Really the crux of my post is that the stock has been oversold and both the Oslo listing and the suspension are, in my opinion, indicators of that.
Why are the shorts creaming their pants over this one. Seems like low optimism in the BORR communities. Specifically yahoo. And what’s up with the suspensions?
10/11/2024 $BORR at $5.29 not yet triple after a year. Remained same price. MARA at $15.88 (almost) doubled from $8.18 a year ago. and PCRFY is down to $8.75 from $10.80 a year ago. In conclusion, Markets are very unpredictable and mostly a gamble… right? I have learned practically nothing about Stocks and Stock Markets and I’ve tried.
Check the X post link on stocktwits on BORR.
Puts on BORR? It literally has drilling in the name.
NNE. Not Penny but real and NXE and BORR
Cm energy tech RIG SDRL DO BORR
Little late on the comment here, but imo, the debt is a feature, not a bug. It provides volatility/torque to the upside and to the downside. Especially given the stock will get a massive rerate to the upside on rate cuts and/or higher oil prices. VAL and BORR baggies will be wondering why they were left in the dust. If I'm RIG management, I'm not substantially paying down debt (they can't really do that anyways until 2025 at current projections) until the equity actually prices the rigs at EV, not at the 1/2 of EV or so, a substantial discount (and one of the drivers to a PT above $30) of equity valuation. Which speaking of stock, luckily for us, equity valuations does not incentivize company management to consider newbuilds until dayrates are above $700kish, and a stock price will be easily higher than $20, if not near $40 bucks. So, new builds ain't on the menu.
As long as Blackrock purchased this, it would be good to buy some shares of BORR. Actually Wallstreet money also goes into Oil and Nuclear from ESG companies isn't it?
All shares outstanding does not mean 100% of the company. I don't know how exactly it works, we need someone smarter to come and explain the possibilities, do the shares given to Blackrock now go in the same bucket as the ones in circulation on the stock market so now we have double the shares for the same % of the company? Did Blackrock go to them and said we want x% of your company, and they agreed on a price and issued the stock, so now this share of the pie is removed from BORR and given to Blackrock. Some smarty pants said: the market on the short term is a voting machine, but in the long term, it's a weighing machine. The market reacted negatively, so that implies the valuation was somehow worsened. Now, the question you have to answer with your DD is did the market overreact or underreact.
At a a price of $6 / share the 264 mil shares equals to 1.58B, BORR market cap as of today on yahoo finance is 1.558B. Also as of yahoo finance the total number of Shares Outstanding is 253.44M. To me it looks like they issued new shares for BlackRock so they diluted their shares which is why the price dropped and it should drop more since your shares suddenly are owning half of the company they owned before. Am I missing anything here?
BORR drilling will double in the next 8 months.
Offshore oil is where its at: Drillers, service and exploration. TDW, RIG, DO, GEOS, SDRL, BORR, GIFI, GMS...
Anyone watching or holding $BORR? I don't understand why it's been plummeting so much this week. All I can find is [good news](https://worldoil.com/news/2023/6/23/borr-drilling-secures-41-million-drilling-contract-extension-for-valeura-energy/) for the company. Could be a really good one to buy in once it hits its bottom. Similarly, $SYTA [might be a good one](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/siyata-mobile-announces-orders-totaling-120000724.html) too, at least short-term.
Welcome! I'm no pro at this, but I've found I never want to stay in any of these stocks too long, because even a multi-day trend can break and drop like a stone in mere seconds, and bag-holding while you wait for it to recover eats up precious trading potential in other stocks. That being said, GRIL looks pretty decent at the moment. It also doesn't look volatile enough to screw you over if you run out for lunch. Another decently slow but steady one that looks like it's finally recovering back upward is $BORR (not really a penny stock, but it's been good to me). Also, the more hyped a stock is on this sub, the more cautious you should approach it. (Reddit tried to make IDEX take off on Friday and, well, they obviously forgot that Redditors represent an insignificant portion of overall daytraders. Our efforts mean nothing to Wall Street...) Anyway, good luck!
On days like this I usually throw my money into BORR because it (usually) has pretty steady and predictable growth. Quite down today as well...
RIG, BORR, DO, CRT, PVL, SJT oil and gas FTW
BORR keep drilling north! Let's go
BORR and LYFT. LYFT is a little higher than 9 but it just dropped off a cliff due to earnings so buy the dip.
SLDP and BORR have promising futures, technically considered penny stocks. LYFT just had a huge drop off so now might be the time to scoop up some of that. Disney and NVIDIA have both been performing well for me. I wish I had bought META back when they lost a chunk, same with NFLX.
It’s a massive crowd, I think the loudest voices just reach the most eyes here. Elon is in the cross hairs of a lot of mentally ill and deranged people rn which is what Reddit is full of. Since you seem normal. You seem normal, here are some quality plays I’m in rn, BORR, SJT, LASE, FTCO.
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, BORR. The market cap of BORR is **0** This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad keywords/phrases. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that.
I retired end of 2021 at 37. My trades were drip and dwti before and during the start of covid, 48hrs of GME squeeze sold at 294, and then long oil with leverage since then. Looking for the energy sector to become a larger share of the SP500 still. NRGU then OXY, BORR and DO on margin.
Seadrill is finalizing plans to exit Ch 11. RIG tried to buy them before. My money on BORR.
BORR is out of the Bahamas now, not that it matters.

RIG has been declining in value for some time since the CEOs of RIG and BORR switched companies.
Most penny stocks have tiny market capitalizations which only takes a small amount of money to move their share price substantially. They are also difficult for investors to enter and exit their positions. Getting down pretty close to your average on BORR. And the others have fallen quite a bit, too 😅
I have an equal amount of shares in BORR and RIG. which will do better 🤔🤔
$BORR August 19 $2.5 puts 🪦
BORR drilling is drilling to the center of earth
Keep my word. Loaded 51k shares of just BORR alone at 3.74 avg; I think I'm doing fine
>NEX at 11.09, BORR at 6.11, WTI at 8.46. Watch and weep… so far so good, lmao
I’ll come back to this in a couple months when you’ve lost most ur money on this. In the meantime, I have some real suggestions — I hope you come back and see how I was right and you were wrong. NEX at 11.09, BORR at 6.11, WTI at 8.46. Watch and weep…
RMO has about 22% short interest on it, trading at a deeply discounted price. This will be the next BORR.
Wish I had heard about BORR a few months ago... that s the kind of pop I'm looking for
BORR Drilling up 39.5% over the last month
BORR calls look good
BORR is coming up to the 1 billion mark. I am up 90%.
I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: BORR. Message /u/zjz if they're above 1.5 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC.
I like BORR too I'll be looking to start a position on a pullback
I started running the market with 20k and the first company I ever bought into was BORR. I gained about 100k from 20k over the course of about 3 years and lost almost all of it last year. I then cut my losses and quit in general
Holding BORR till I can’t no more
