Hope y'all are still buying AKAM calls no matter the expiry, next prediction...

Throw in ABX (formerly ABL) UFPT, NATL, CCOI. Good day for rotation indeed.

Definitely with the run-up...BW was up over 100% when I bought it. I'm still up 200% on it. There's a lot of room to run. The only thing I'm really excited about right now is CCOI. It was an $80 stock, then the founder got margin called and had to sell about 8% of the company. He got margin called for some real estate business he did unrelated to the company. The stock went from $80-40 from the selling pressure. Then they cut their dividend to help digest some assets they bought from sprint (for $1). Dividend funds then had to sell en masse an the stock went from $40-16. Meanwhile they're selling off data centers and restarting their buybacks. If they just go back to previous valuation it's ~400% upside.

Cool! I've been looking at CCOI which was dumped massively by funds when they cut their dividend. They own a bunch of data centers that they are selling right now to pay down debt. Could easily double to triple when they reinstate the divvy in the future. Also, kind interested in fertilizer stocks. It seems like that Market might be taking off, but I'm still reading up on it. Potash specifically.

I remember! You also get some fun out of fund flows. I'm watching CCOI now. They cut their dividend to pay down debt. All the dividend funds are now dumping it. That thing is soooooo cheap now.

I was buying NATL recently, I think it's super cheap and they're turning on the buyback machine, which is really helpful in this environment. SJT is interesting with nat gas being hot. When they restart the dividend I expect good things. I've also been buying ODD. Chart is terrible, but I can't resist adding to my position down here. It's too cheap. Otherwise I'm being very discerning right now. Everything I look at has a Terrible chart and I'm not particularly bullish. CCOI is cheap, but plummeting. SHLS is interesting, but not super cheap. ABL is dirt cheap, but I own a ton already. CRMD is one I'n really interested in, but I'm still evaluating it. It looks too obvious and I'm sure I'm missing something.

CCOI still in freefall.... definitely getting interesting, but textbook falling knife.

How about $CCOI? Does anyone have any views on that one?

Anyone here follow or own $CCOI? Beaten down so much that the valuation is starting to look attractive. They seem to be at an inflection point in their turnaround story - growing revenues plus paying down debt. Wondering if anyone follows the company or has any insight to share?

Any thoughts on what is going to moon if war ends? VEON, CCOI, CAT?

Yeah, about that... One of the supporting infrastructure are the electronic highways where all the data move. Big in that arena is CCOI, think about them as the ISP for large corporations and institutions. If you need the bandwidth for your mega data center to connect to the internet and to another across the globe, you call them. Somehow nobody got the memo on how important they are, to the tune of them being 42% down since February.

Those are all solid investments my good sir you are obv not a cone head like the other guy in this thread lolol. I’m a big fan of leveraged efts like SPYU (4X S&P 500) and NVDX (2X Nvidia). I also include newer stocks with big potential (I think at least) ECO, CRML, and CCOI. Basically my current strategy is 60 percent in long term safe gains (EFTS and big stocks like Nvidia, google etc.) and then the other 40 percent in super risky plays with larger potential growth. It’s worked so far I’m sitting at a little under 50k as an 18 year old.

So they know exactly how to approach this case to win. Can we buy stock in the law firms lol. After I typed that I had to look it up ok I had Bing copilot look it up. Now I'm wondering who's going to be the first publicly traded law firm, I wonder if this will be a future move to make more money for them. Anyway bing results below. Results from Bing AI Certainly! While law firms are typically private entities, there are a few publicly traded companies related to legal services. These companies may not be traditional law firms but operate within the legal industry. Here are some examples: CRA International, Inc. (CRAI): Provides consulting services, including legal and economic analysis. AppFolio, Inc. (APPF): Offers cloud-based software solutions for legal professionals. Cogent Communications Group, Inc. (CCOI): Provides internet services, including legal firms as clients. Esquire Financial Holdings, Inc. (ESQ): A financial institution serving law firms and attorneys. Thomson Reuters Corp (TRI): Although not exclusively a law firm, it provides legal research and information services. Please note that these companies may not be traditional law firms, but they operate in the legal sector. Traditional law firms tend to remain private due to their unique ownership structure and the distribution of profits among partners

I would do AKAM before CCOI. And AKAM seems like a solid bet, but I have no idea how the call will go. There was an ER when they gave a super conservative forecast and the stock tanked for no good reason, but that was super early in Linode days. I think they were adjusting for the cost of the acquisition, and wall street kept them in the CDN category instead of moving them to a "cloud services" company. Now that their "cloud service" status is more settled perhaps they will talk more about futures regarding it which could be a big boost with the India partnership. Of course, it can always go either way, but I am betting on AKAM for their ER on 2/16. The stock has appreciated quite a bit (yay) but who knows how much that will contribute to post-ER movement? AMD tanked because of their crazy P/E number, and lack-luster GPU-related report. Kind of reminds me of that one AKAM report. Hopefully AMD isn't too late in the game to benefit from their better-than-nvidia benchmarks (for non-proprietary software). I lost on AMD this time around too... thought the GPU benchmarks beating nvidia would lead to more data center agreements but perhaps they are a bit too late in the game for that. I'd recommend CCOI only as a potential sleeper with a far-off expiry date. For now AKAM is looking like the best option imo... though wider market swings (e.g. interest rates, warring world, unease, etc.) may keep AKAM more stale than expected. I would be surprised though if it dropped significantly.

Added to the post: >\- AKAM $115 Call exp 06/21 (4 buys) > >\- AKAM $110 Call exp 02/16 (11 buys) > >\- CCOI $85 Call exp 02/16 (3 buys) > >\- CVX $152.5 Call exp 02/23 (3 buys) > >\- AMD $165 Call exp 02/02 (1 buy) CCOI was a newbie trade when I made it... there was like no volume and I paid $0.85 for those. I am debating whether or not to make a more calls with a more distant expiry but right now almost everything is in AKAM.
