I like diagnostics companies/assay development ones. Itโ€™s a very boom or bust trade, many will simply not accomplish what they are trying to do. I like Castle Biosciences (CSTL), Amicus (FOLD), and Moderna (MRNA). In terms of stocks Amicus is kinda turning me off but I like the other company. The other two I am strongly considering buying soon.

Bought IS, RYTM, CSTL. CLNE and LQDA are close.

Only speaking for the healthcare stocks, CSTL and NGM are simply awful. ABT and JNJ are OK, but I was surprised names LLY, MRK, TMO, MDT, ISRG, SYK, etc. were not there instead. If you want speculative small caps for high potential growth, there are way better options.

Today is interesting. Usually my growth/tech stocks dip together. However, today, AMD, CSTL, CHPT, OPEN and BMBL are tanking together, but PYPL, AAPL, and two bio stocks are green/rising continuing to rally. In the past, PYPL in particular tended to dip strongly with the others.

โ€ขr/stocksSee Comment

If you are willing to take a bit of a risk, there's some growth names that have not fully rebounded yet that I've invested in. This includes BMBL at $56, OPEN at $16.8, CSTL at $70 (which has been doing some big swings this week), CHPT at $32. I own AMD at $88. PYPL still has more room to run as well.

โ€ขr/stocksSee Comment

This week I saw CSTL and PYPL come back from the dead, and two Alzheimer bio stocks I held mooned big time. CHPT and AMD both had nice increases over the week. I loaded up on some more DIS. And still beg holding CRSR, PLTR, and two SPACS. ME (a former SPAC) is finally showing movement now that the merge went through. BMBL, ZNGA and OPEN continue to do nothing and I'm flat with those. And lastly, still bag holding TSLA bought at the top but it's starting show signs of life again. Overall it was a good week thanks to my bio stocks, CSTL, PYPL, CHPT and AMD, and the other stocks have stopped bleeding.

โ€ขr/stocksSee Comment

Here's what I have... Take a look at PYPL, CSTL, OPEN, BMBL, DIS. They are in the midst of recovery (PYPL, CSTL) or recently got beaten down from ATH (OPEN, BMBL, DIS). This could also be a good new baseline entry for AAPL between 127-130.

My Investopedia account (the fake money stock simulator) is doing really well. It's where I make all my riskier or bolder plays I wish I could have the guts to make in my real account. Most often then not, they fail, which is why I do it there just to see what happens. However, some of my bolder investments turned out great with CSTL (+44%), an Alzheimer stock (+69%), AVXL (+71%), PYPL (+14%) and BMBL (+27%). If only that was my real account!

Glad to see one of my prized stocks, CSTL, has hit the mid-70s again. Hoping it continues to get back up to the 80s-90s again.

CSTL is a far better Co. I know this space and the players well and wouldnโ€™t take their stock for free. Their LCD is horrendous and their path to broad commercial reimbursement along with building out their sales channel will take years and years. Likely will not succeed.

Look for some companies that are still on discounts that have upcoming earnings and that you feel good about. Here's a few of mine: AMD (4/27), AAPL (4/28), CRSR (5/4), ZNGA (5/5), PYPL (5/5), CSTL (5/10), OPEN (5/11), BMBL (5/12), DIS (5/13).

For all of you that own the small cap tech stocks -- esp buying on the "lows" of last week. Do you plan to buy more shares as they continue to dip lower, with hopes that they recover later or are you giving up on them? Transparently, here are the ones I own: CRSR PLTR S/\\VA AVXL CHPT CSTL OPEN ZNGA BMBL

My biggest position is AAPL, I have other positions in: TSLA green OPEN red PLTR red CRSR green CHPT red PYPL green CSTL red S/\\VA red AVXL red BMBL flat RlOT red ZNGA red AMD green I own 3 spacs but those are busts anyway so not counting them.

I feel for ya. I had a chance to make $2,200 from PYPL at its peak. But I liked the stock for long-term so didn't sell. Now it's plunged considerably and stagnating. It's amazing how quickly some of our darling stocks ended up being the complete opposite. CSTL was another one that was the prize stock of my portfolio and is now a complete drag.

Some crazy micro swings on some stocks. Looks like some are trying to sell big and some still buying big. CSTL just went down from 71 to 64 and back up to 68 for example.

My how the tables have turned. A few weeks ago, PYPL, AMD, CSTL, AAPL were ATH and I had a chance to cash out but didn't. I believe they were all good long term holds. I still do. I'm holding today but boy is it painful to see PYPL go from $310 all the way down to $224 at one point. I have 10 other positions on top of these, all but 4 are long term. I am eager to get out of 3 speculative ones (can't say them here). But might have to wait until the market turns up again and exit at a loss for those.

โ€ขr/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

I forget what $CSTL does but I looked in to it and I think it's a good stock. I'm not throwing alot of cash at it because I'm new at "trading" or whatever you call it. However when I decide to go all in on a stock so to speak, it's not because I've done the research but because of the speculation that more qualified people have found.

Check out CSTL, it's a good one that is a steal right now due to the market decline. Every time the market recovers, it starts going up to where it was before the dip, which was a steady rise in the 90s-100s and a good long term investment. I think PYPL and DIS are also good long holds. And of course, AAPL is a set it and forget it stock. If it dips with the market, it's fine because you know it's a long play anyway.

โ€ขr/stocksSee Comment

Just snagged CSTL, 50 at $74 and I am stoked. I missed my chance at that price yesterday on the dip and it went up to $81 by market close then (before the larger correction this stock was in the high 90s and has had a good trajectory). This is a good stock and I have had my eye on it for some time.

Damnit, I keep missing my entry points with CSTL. Had a chance to enter at 78 but held out incase it went lower, only for it to spike up to 86. Now 86 I'd have been happy to enter in when the market was humming a few weeks ago, but right now, I'm nervous because that very well could drop back down again AH or tomorrow. Ugh ... decisions.

PYPL and CSTL are the stocks I have had my eyes on for long holds. CSTL was my regret for not buying earlier this month and into Jan when I could have done so. I had my eye on it in the 60-70s before it started mooning all the way up to the 90s-100s. I felt I missed my chance. Then yesterday it dropped down to 73 and I missed my chance again because I was in a meeting and then it had already recovered to the 80s. I set a low limit now but am still tempted to buy at 81 but and resisting the FOMO. PYPL I bought at 253 to see it shoot up to the 300s, yay! I planned to hold long term. But now it looks like I could have sold at the top and bought in back at 253! Craziness! Keeping my eye on both. I think they are both good long holds.

Keeping my eye on CSTL. That stock was mooning before the tech burst and got as low as 73 before bouncing back up to 83 yesterday. I had wished I got in at this level last month when it shot up to 106. But now I am torn, get in now at 81 or wait and see if it dips into mid 70s again...
