Prepare yourselves. The Hertz squeeze is coming. The dpu is calculated in the ebitda guidance. Only corporate debt is subtracted from ebitda not vehicle debt. So if Avis reports a dpu of under 300, HTZ is going to easily meet guidance. Should have a strong signal on Tuesday whether Htz is going to meet top end of guidance. Earnings will come down to dpu. I would imagine they would of sold mostly retail channels and held unto their cars during the busiest quarter of year. Avis reports Tuesday….. should give a glimpse of what to expect on 11/5. Looking at the DPU number is the most important factor. If it's below, 300, HTZ is going to have a monster quarter. The DPU is calculated in their guidance. So a 285 to 295 DPU will mean their guidance of 275 to 325 million ebitda is guaranteed. Carvana posted great results and if Avis does, lookout.
