[Ok, so heres the chart from the article drawn back as far in history as it would allow](https://imgur.com/a/yTirqiq) and the [LINK](https://www.newyorkfed.org/markets/desk-operations/repo) if anyone wants to check out the source I can see why you say its a blip, because small lines look small compared to the crazy levels we saw during the lockdown, but if you look closely you can compare the numbers today vs the housing crash and combine that with the fact that we've seen basically all zeros since mid 2020 - certainly looks like more than a blip, and probably a pretty violent start of a trend You seem to know more about this stat in general than I do though, since its only caught my attention recently so I'm interested in understanding your viewpoint if you want to elaborate. At this point its hard to see much outside what I've outlined here
