I would just construct synthetic leverage using LETFs. And never go above 1.7x unless exceptionally bullish. If bubble pops, nasdaq can fall 50% (which doesn't mean a 2x would get wiped out if it happens over time and obvi doesn't prevent doubling down by opening a larger position at the bottom), but managing all that with synthetic leverage is much safer since it enforces buying low and selling high (lest you not have any positions at all!). I don't like options since there's no risk premium to capture there. Theta, etc. is all a zero sum game unlike the MRP.

Wait, you're telling me when you have the resources to build your own MRP system you can tailor it to exactly what you want? My guy, a finding like that isn't some revolutionary thing. SAP is meant to be applied to a wide assortment of businesses who can utilize it as a 'good enough' approach without having to worry about maintaining it. I am sure you can make Excel better if you wanted to. Should we buy puts on Microsoft?

I think it really depends on a host of factors. I've deployed multiple CRMs and ERP/MRP over the years and I can say unequivocally that the ROI is never there when you don't properly design your processes around the software limitations and not the other way around. Trash in trash out is true with old software systems and it'll be true with AI deployment.

MRP is a unique name that's little discussed.

My personal portfolio principle is I have 90% in diversified ETFs (about 70% in S&P 500 and 20% in other ETFs like international markets, energy, real estate, robotics, whatever sector you feel is strong/strong future). And then the last 10% have some fun with individual stocks. I have some big tech, some real estate (I personally have LEN and MRP), and some other AI stocks that are more niche that I’m making small bets on with the chance of big payouts. Kevin O Leary’s rule is never have more that 5% of your portfolio in one individual stock.

That's the point. MRP already had the run but LEN is about to get a boost from the lower rates (borrow money, lower mortgage rates, more affordable housing). Exchanging into stock with already big run up while abandoning one yet to take off (especially after Buffet took a stake) seems like buying high at the top for MRP.

Please advise. I have no clue. I own 70 LEN and 35 MRP and neither performed too great while in my position. What criteria do you base your action on?

Yes, Almost everything in India is displayed inclusive of taxes. Items have MRP(Maximum Retail Price) printed on them. It is illegal to sell anything over MRP.

I, too, work commercial glazing/construction. They’ve done a handful of RIFs over the last year. Haven’t sold many jobs. Our arch engineers and drafters are slow. Our fab facility is slow and will be out of work in August. Our install crews will be out of work in September with no follow-on work until first quarter 2026. My position was eliminated 3 weeks ago (supply chain and MRP systems admin) and luckily I was offered a position elsewhere in the company, but at about 25% pay cut. I was told I’m valuable and they want me to stay around, but can’t pay what they’ve been paying me and said they hope I stay around despite being screwed like this .
