PCYO - I will always plug it because it's awesome
Amazons and facebooks were speculative at the start ... one was a reseller out of an apartment and the other was a college only social media website before social had proven it could be monetized and scale outside of a niche. Anyway, your question is what value investing is about. You look at industries and individual companies and people within them who have plans and finances that you believe will turn money, sweat, and know-how into more money and then hope. You asked for ideas... So... If you want to lose money and stress alongside me, I'm long on PCYO rn - feel free to read about it and make your own choices at r/pcyostock. Lots of pain in the near term imo - it's a colorado based real estate group that owns the water rights to the properties... not financial advice.
Don’t forget water. Time to go long on wastewater mgmt ? Ie PCYO, RSG, AWK or ETFs PHO/PIO
I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: CWCO PCYO. Message /u/zjz if they're above 1.5 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC.

Hindenburg just hit pure cycle with a short report. Not quite as damning as most of theirs but still not good news for $PCYO My puts bought at market open 6/18 12.50p were only 0.22 and up 40% 6/18 maybe a little soon but they are \~ .30 ASK with a few left (estimating using market open volume). Sept is 1.30 so pricey.
I'm bullish on water utilities to an indefinite time in the future. AWR, AWK, XYL, MSEX, PCYO, and WTS are several that I personally keep an eye on with holdings in a couple.
Pure Cycle Corp (PCYO) is a stock I own that owns water rights. More neutral than positive.
