Throw in a smaller size, and higher performance, and customers should beat a path to your door. POET (OTC:POETF) (TSX:PTK.V) believes it can provide all four with its proprietary “optical interposer” based on a novel low-loss material that can allow multiple components to be integrated into a single package entirely at wafer-scale. What this means is that it can eliminate steps in the labor-intensive assembly process currently used when manufacturing optical transceivers. Manual assembly results in higher scrap rates, longer production times, and higher equipment costs. Also, its base material is far better suited to use in the management of light than silicon due to its lower loss and planar architecture, thus allowing lower powered lasers, resulting in lower power consumption and the ability to use less expensive lasers. POET hopes to disrupt the current market for photonics devices and have its Optical Engine platform become the standard in the industry. POET recently announced a Letter of Intent (LOI) to establish a $50 million joint venture with Xiamen Sanan Integrated Circuit Co. Ltd. of Xiamen, China. POET will be contributing know how and a license to some of its technology, and Xiamen will contribute intellectual property, capital and production facilities. It will ultimately be 53% owned by Sanan IC and 47% by POET. Its first products will be optical engines (POET’s interposer combined with Sanan’s lasers) to be sold to manufacturers of 100G, 200G, and 400G devices for use in data centers and telecommunications. The venture hopes to convince incumbent or new module suppliers to adopt its lower cost Optical Engine, which can be sold at prices below the costs of the legacy component suppliers. This joint venture could generate as much as $200-$300 million in revenues per year by 2025 by taking modest market share. POET reinvented itself by selling its foundry in Singapore and redeploying the cash to pursue the development of products with higher return on equity due to demand, market growth, and low capital requirements. It is capitalizing on management’s expertise in processes, lasers and design to target a number of industry segments in the photonics market with the highest return, with the first two being 100G and 400G for data centers, and supercomputers for use with Artificial Intelligence

POETF is the ticker for pre-share price(RS) consolidation - it doesn't exist anymore. Currently, Poet is using POETD as a transition period to NASDAQ, which will be POET.

POET Technologies (POETF) CFO bought shares on the open market, filings were public yesterday.
I am in on POETF for these same reasons. But patience is required.
POETF. I don’t understand how their proprietary technology works(because I’m dumb), but it seems important. After a very long development phase, they are finally taking it to market. My feelings on POETF is that they might be a LWLG-type, but early in their cycle and coming into a market less supportive of growth(so a good product/company that might just need more time due to cyclicals).
Mine are: **SPVNF**. Spectra7 Microsystems = Improved ("smart") copper cables mainly for datacenters. 92 design wins including all relevant blue-chip companies. One of the pennies with most potential in my account. Will play a huge role in the Metaverse datacenter transition to higher speeds (400g, 800g, 1,6T) where passive cabling comes short. Also into VR headsets and going into Lidar next year. **POETF**. POET Technologies = Semiconductors. The smallest and cheapest 100G optical engine for transceivers in datacenters. Developing higher speeds too. Will play a huge role in the Metaverse datacenter transition to higher speeds (400g, 800g, 1,6T) where conventional transceivers come short. Also going into Lidar and wearables next year for monitoring glucose and lactate noninvasive. **ZAIRF.** Zinc8 Energy solutions. = Batteries. Zinc-air batteries for long-duration energy storage for datacenters but also wind&solar stations, huge buildings, where lithium and other mechanisms such as compressed hydrogen come short (expensive, poluting, unsafe). Zinc is cheap, recycable, safe, and efficient. A blue-chip North American datacenter is now testing Zinc8's systems to use this as back-up storage. Datacenters will need more energy storage in the future.

I’m betting big on POETF, if you listened to the last presentation at the Oppenheimer 5G conf here: https://wsw.com/webcast/oppenheimer19/poetf/3022900 when you hear the CEO state we have no other company that can ramp easily to 1.6tb per second, it’s exactly why people use the term disruptive when it comes to this company (I encourage anyone to listen to the whole presentation if you’ve never heard of this company, but if you have, from the 11 minute mark is pure excitement!) keep in mind the CEO is not a salesman, he’s the former CTO of Global Foundries.
Spectra 7 (SEV.V), definetely!!!!! Insane company. And POET Technologies (POETF). 2022 very interesting. And thinking of Zinc8 Energy (ZAIRF) and Niocorp (NIOBF). 2023 very interesting.

Might be some potential from POET Technologies but they need some partnerships or deals with a big company to make the investment make sense; it’s a gamble at this point to buy POETF

PTE, yes, but add a few letters to get POETF , they’ve achieved the holy grail in photonics with their unique hybrid integration for optical engines, which put in a nutshell will drive the next data centres , telecom networks, edge computing, Artificial Intelligence, health sector through spectroscopy (like an Apple Watch giving your vital signs on demand) and of course my son’s favourite because he loves Tesla ,sensing through its unique Lidar approach. I back up what you’re saying about the bot who posted this, but for a few months now I’ve been in $POETF haven’t made much so far, but have been trying to understand what industry leaders an analyst in the semiconductor world who I have been using to get a real grasp on this new tech and it’s a real thing and a game changer in chip manufacturing. Not backing up the bot, just the tech.
What fundamental flaws does LWLG have that POETF solves? You talk about Intel and Cisco, but no mention of LWLG's flaw. They seem to be after the same markets with a different solution... and several months ahead, in terms of organic nasdaq uplisting... I don't think they are looking for a POET partnership, personally.
I like POETF a lot, but I am waiting on the warrants to release in a few weeks. I think there will be a nice buying opportunity and then all of huge upside (I think there is already good upside at the current price as well)
