Thank you! If anyone's curious, Tradezero (the merger target being sued by its sponsors lol) converted my PPGH to GGR about 10 minutes after 5 am (earliest premarket hours)
Twitter crowd is clocking it. Besides MlTX, they are also referring to PPGH running to $17.50 with a 4 Milly float. Most worrying is the fact that our gal fuck CCIV is tweeting about it. 😂that never ends well
From BSGA annual report in February: "If the transaction with Bitdeer does not close, we believe that our management team is well positioned to identify and implement attractive business combination opportunities in an efficient manner." Next paragraph: "If the transaction with Bitdeer does not close, our acquisition strategy will be to capitalize on the strengths of our management team to allow us to identify businesses..." Is this language normal? I didn't see it in the PPGH filings which I used as an example. This plus no progress on merger makes me think that Bitdeer is disappointed in the stock price and might cancel merger.
I looked through PPGH annual report before merger with Gogoro to compare. I didn't see as much talk about alternative plans if the deal fell through. BSGA filing really made the point clear that they have a backup plan. That's worrisome.
- Selling CANO $4 calls for 60% loss (when earnings were delayed and it was 4.50), a day before it ran to $7. - Holding 30,000 SPAQ/ALLG warrants from 1.50 to .56 for months, and then dumping at 1.20-1.25 the day when it ran to 1.85. - Holding 35,000 PPGH/GGR warrants for months and selling at 1.45 before the merger pump to 2.20. - Selling like 20,000 shares of HYMC at 1.35 just days before it's run to $3. - Buying GENI warrants at $1 (where's the bottom here?) Should I keep going?
PPGH filed [8-K report on April 4, 2022](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1826333/000110465922042296/tm2211483d1_8k.htm). "On March 31, 2022, Poema Global held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and approved the proposal to approve the Business Combination (as defined below). In connection with the Business Combination, **holders of 29,506,265 Poema Global’s Class A ordinary shares exercised their right to redeem their share**s for cash at a redemption price of approximately $10.006 per share, for an aggregate redemption amount of $295,230,432.36." "[On January 8, 2021](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1826333/000110465921004293/a21-3155_18k.htm), Poema Global Holdings Corp. (the “Company”) consummated an initial public offering (the “IPO”) of 34,500,000 units (the “Units”), including the 4,500,000 Units as a result of the underwriters’ full exercise of their over-allotment option ..." That leaves just under 5 million shares after redemptions, and a redemption rate of 86%. 4 million was the original guesstimate, based on the press release figures you are using. The final redemption figures from the SEC filing is likely more accurate.
Went through the 3 listing controversy pieces on Gogoro. Some thoughts: First Article - the main topic is Homer Sun (CEO of PPGH) and his past controversies. These were already known. Horace was asked about this on numerous occasions and reiterated that thorough DD was done before choosing PPGH. Long term holders should all be aware of this already. Second Article - Taiwan is afraid China investors will eventually own Gogoro, and questioned data safety. But every public company has these same issues and concerns. There's nothing stopping China investors from buying up shares of a company. Data security issues with China have always been a concern (e.g. TikTok). Not sure why this would be any worse for GGR. I believe this piece is mainly targeting Taiwan shareholders. Third Article - Gogoro did not list in Taiwan and chose NASDAQ instead. Article goes into some details as to why this is bad for Taiwan, but I fail to see how this is even a "controversy"...
I'm impressed they upsized the PIPE multiple times (3 or 4) in a very difficult environment (which PPGH/GGR did as well). It's still a very early stage company, but looks like there is some institutional interest. I am long 35k shares all covered with short $12.5 April calls and short 10k warrants. Would be ecstatic if shares get called away. Warrants seem way overpriced though.
There have been a few others lately. The 85% redemption rate could be a problem. On its face value, this suggests most investor would rather have their $10 back than investing into GGR at the proposed valuation of $2.65B. More importantly, this mean a lot less money was raised by GGR to grow its business. PPGH originally raised ~ $350m, but after redemption, only ~$50 went to GGR. Plus the ~$300m PIPE, GGR raised a total of ~$350m after de-SPAC. For comparison, if there are no redemptions, GGR would’ve raised more than $600m. My rough estimate was that PIPE investors probably paid ~$7.5 per share. If my math is wrong, could someone please correct it. I like the company, but the high redemption rate means that the company might need to raise additional money soon to fuel expansion. Making batteries and building out swap stations are pretty expensive infrastructures, even if they go with partners. If dilution happens when the stock is below $10, it will hurt existing SPAC investors who chose to stick with GGR. But I do think this is currently a more unique consumer EV company that stands out.
Wow so my 401k was 100% PPGH/ GGR for 100,000 warrants for the past week. Had an average of 1.50....cashed it all out at 2.1....I'll buy back in if it dips but had to protect my 401k, pretty dumb to go all in, luckily it worked out this time

Gogoro didn’t did get much money from the PPGH Trust (85% shares redeemed at NAV floor price) so I’m hoping they would raise more money by letting warrant holders buy more shares at $11.5 instead of cashless redemption which you get fractional shares for each warrant.
I see, thanks for the clarity. I have over 10,000 warrants but I use them more as an insurance in case the stock rallies so I won’t have FOMO haha (at least I can still buy more shares at $11.5) I have a few thousand shares of commons, but was hoping the commons to dip below $8 like most spacs I.E planet Lab/Grab. Fingers crossed Gogoro allow warrants holders to redeem shares at $11.5 since they didn’t get much money from the PPGH trust (85% NAV redemption) most of the money they raised were from the pipe investors

PPGH / GGR up another almost 10% in after hours....is this the next Lucid runner???
Hell yeah PPGH / GGR is taking off again!!
PPGH and THCA both had their float reduced due to redemptions. The float is the number of shares available on the stock exchanges. When the float is small, it's easy to make the price go up. Because there's less shares at every price point. Watch YouTube videos on floats, squeezes, etc..
Most of the spacs even good ones like $AGB goes back to $6 after merger approval . I lost lot of money. Why some spacs like $PPGH is jumped big after merger approval. how $THCA jumping even without DA. please help me to understand
No one cares about PPGH/GGR skyrocketing this week?
Gogoro, a Taiwanese electric scooter startup that's backed by Al Gore and one of Apple's biggest suppliers, is about to have its day on Wall Street. The company will debut on the Nasdaq on Tuesday after merging with a special purpose acquisition company, Poema Global (PPGH). Hopefully this saves you a click from the click bait title.
We're about getting them before they pop, then getting the word out, like PPGH was the last new trade idea I put out last night and first thing OI discord saw this morning, then it went 40%.
Legitimately am the worst at playing this game. Redeemed 2k PPGH shares. Scared money don't make money.
PPGH 29.5M (85%) shares redeemed. 5M float
Nice to see the influx of pension funds into Gogoro ($PPGH) today. I feel validated in holding through the merger. 👍🏻
That PPGH swing trade was money. Sold my 1k shares @13 for a quick 30%. Gotta love fintwit
Yeah, volume was all pretty low on my positions (except PPGH).
How is no one here talking about the PPGH Gogoro merger?? Those EV scooters are taking over SE Asia and the chairman of the Nasdaq is on the board...
VWAP still high, this PPGH dump is pretty low volume. I think it's just consolidation.
Elon takes a stake in TWTR, PPGH is going crazy, GGPI having a day, and the low floats are moving. Only Fans DA would fly to $150 today. Can we please have it now? Or at least a legit rumor with a specific SPAC, pretty pleaseeeeeeee
Same here I'm barely green on the year because of PPGH. I am taking a break from spacs and especially pre da spacs after this one
Holy shit, PPGH is actually doing it… maaaan now I really hope it does an IONQ… entry at 7.50? Lmao the fomoooo
Who's holding PPGH and do you have a stop loss set? I don't... Yet
Any opinions on this for PPGH, saw this on stocktwits "Classic low float pump. Traders are taking advantage of a period when stock is very scarce due to high redemptions,, PIPE not bring able to sell yet, and warrants unable to be exercised. So they pump it and sell it to retail once it becomes GGR"
I haven't sold a single share of PPGH today. It's solid.
All us long time PPGH/PPGHW holders need a win. To $20 and beyond!
PPGH has good revenue. SLDP is an unknown.
Please please PPGH, don't pull an SLDP
What's the next thing that will increase PPGH float? S1 or anything like that filed? When dump? When moon?
Why’s everyone talking about $PPGH?
Well didn't think I was gonna average up but just sold all of my SE and bought 5000 more PPGH warrants. Not gonna miss this ride
Right here, increased my commons position by 50% on this morning’s dip :) To add to the hopium, I believe that most folks holding actually believe in the company and aren’t in it for some low-float shenanigans (although the float is relatively low at ~4M). If BRCC and NRGV can do what they’re doing, why not PPGH?
PPGH giving me IONQ vibes.. who‘s holding through merger? Good luck!🍀
How does PPGH only have 900 stocktwits followers? It's holding up pretty well, will be interesting to see action after merger. I'm very excited for this, hopefully the twitter pumpers don't dump before me though
and then PPGH going to the moon this week when it completes the merger and ticker change
looks like PPGH merger with Gogoro is a done deal. waiving cash minimum. $335 million raised of which $295 million is PIPE. so $40 million from non redeemed spac shares so about 4 million shares. looks like original public offering was about 34 million shares. these are rough numbers based on superficial reads.
[GOGORO and Poema Global ANNOUNCE SHAREHOLDER APPROVAL OF Business Combination](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/gogoro-and-poema-global-announce-shareholder-approval-of-business-combination-301515236.html) \- PPGH -> GGR PPGHW -> GGROW expected on April 5, 2022 "As a result of the Business Combination, we expect Gogoro to receive at least $335M total cash including $295 million in proceeds from the oversubscribed PIPE financing commitments received in connection with the Business Combination ..." That leaves $40 million from the trust, or about 4 million public shares after redemptions, as a preliminary estimate.
MOTV/FRGE merger, I can't find the vote date on either spactrack or spachero calendars. am I just r-tarded? and do we know redemption numbers? and if so when were they released? I'm hoping for some similar GMBT/SWVL mega pump action then. If PPGH/gogoro had like 90% redemptions then GMBT might be headed for 99% even though the underlying company is doing great and valuation was fair.
Fry meme: “Not sure if PPGH is holding up well… or did people just forget the floor is gone” 🤨
I like the company as well and will probably buy some more when it inevitably drops after ticker change. I did buy some commons recently to play the Twitter pump, FinTwit looooooves PPGH, so I figure their pump is good for at least a run to $11ish and I’ll buy back in later on
So PPGH up 5% premarket...👀 i guess it's not crashing....yet
PPGH floor drop has to be the most anticlimactic of the year.
A few, but i leave and come back in a lot. I mostly left PPGH waiting for the dump. It doesn't seem to be happening yet. So I'm back in.
Is it possible that PPGH just isn't going to dump, not even for a couple hours?
PPGH is shortable. So float probably isn't super tiny.
PPGH floor seems to have disappeared. Price hit 9.70 and bounced premarket. I'm bullish and long but there's a few reasons I'm not yoloing at $10. One of which is the fact that it's based in Taiwan and wall Street is concerned that China could pull a Russian move and attack Taiwan. But i do hope it bounces up to $15 where it belongs. If it hits $8 I'll be buying more.
PPGH? Extremely unlikely imo. The PIPE being upsized makes me confident.
The absolute gut punch for me would be PPGH. But they have such a big pipe and CEO already said they are closing so should be fine. But you never know
Two SPACs are interesting to me. GOGORO (PPGH). An electric scooter startup from Taipei who's swappable battery subscription system is very promising. Already widespread in Taipei with more battery stations then there are gas stations. The genius of it is that Scooter manufacturers can use their technology and are already building scooters with it. Also opened to be used by any micro EV imaginable. They are poised to expand worldwide with their battery swap stations. Will go public under GGR by the end of this month. POLESTAR (GGPI) Volvo owned EV spinoff that is now offering its new model in the US. Expect to produce over 30K vehicles this year in China. Cars are an affordable competitor to the Model 3 in the mid $40K. I think these two have a great chance to be priced above their $10 open price.
Pretty sure people like PPGH as an actual company not as a potential low float play.
Amps earnings response was scary. No position but it doesn't seem bad at all. Like they did what they were going to do?? Anyhow due to Marijuana bill in Congress Leafly puts are off the table. Feels like PPGH is a trap and will have low redemptions as everyone is convinced after ALLG and FRGE
when is the PPGH vote? in light of the current meta, i'd really like to know the redemption numbers, though i expect this one to be relatively low.
anyone know what the redemption value on PPGH is? Seems to be trading above NAV which is weird
Wow after a close to 30- 40% run over the past 1-2 months on PPGH warrants I am now all time up 4% on the position...if only I had kept averaging down during the drawdown , such is life
Oh got it. I had 6% in PPGH... Sold all but 1. I will buy it if it drops to 8..I think it may not drop much but being foreign based it could have limited appeal for ALLG type run
I think I might have to jump on the PPGH train pretty soon. Looks like it only went above $10 for like a week in November and has been sub $10 ever since. Should have decent redemptions numbers and then you add the fact that FinTwit absolutely loves it, figure it should be good for at least a pop to $11
Sold my DAVE puts at 2.20, purchase was 1.25. this thing is odd, it should be at 5-6 but something going on that I don't understand. I have a feeling by expiry it will see 6-7 but I didn't take profit in the past, I just need to do it now. Onto GMBT, PPGH, puts for MVST and LFLY if it goes up a bit. I thought SLDP puts would have printed... no position but why did it not tank post earnings???
PPGH / GGR the Taiwan electric scooter company with solid state battery swapping technology that's expanding into China and India announced today its beating its revenue guidance and has increased its PIPE. The merger will close at the end of the month.
PPGH is beating revenue forecasts. That has to be good right? https://twitter.com/WeAreGogoro/status/1505863543136129034?t=Z8YdMt5wzPndWPsXtxvmjg&s=19
Two SPACs of interest MTAL and ACTD. ACTD comp LFG is above 20. Seems ACTD is burning through arbs and has no options. Warrants are pricey for post DA. MTAL warrants are at 70 cents but if they don't drop over next week I may open a position. Any bear thesis or dislike for above deals?? I am exiting PPGH for ACTD and some MTAL or maybe warrants.. when does the floor drop on PPGH

PIPP no target, PPGH target
SPAQ/ALLG warrants (name change today) PPGH
PPGH. And for warrants maybe CHPM at .15
You think PPGH is a pump? They are posting it a lot, but I actually really like it. Curious to hear the bear case if you disagree.
They get too cocky. They’re pumping SPAQ and PPGH, saying all the typical pumping lines about it. Like guys come on, I know you’ve been watching the SPAC market for the past year and half, you should know better than to try and hype this shit up before the NAV floor is gone
Any recent news on a date for PPGH merger? There's a 1% opportunity for ARB and last things I saw said end of this month (obviously that's not happening with a date not set for vote).
Is PPGH gogoro developing the worlds first solid state lithium battery a big deal? It seems like it should be considering speculative non developed companies like quantumacape skyrocketed during peak spac mania without even a product....feel like this should be bigger news if it was actually important
Really just a few folks here trying to pawn this off on unsuspecting people. Most people here know there is no actual reason to gamble on PPGH amongst the other options. Happy to be wrong.
Wishing I has been buying more PPGH when it was under 1.20....my 401k is like half PPGH though at a 1.40 average, I might sell my NGCws and TWCBws since those could be nothing and just buy more here in hopes of a merger run up.
Gogoro is absolutely the most popular electric scooter brand in Taiwan, with battery swapping stations available at many 7-11 convenience stores (which are everywhere in Taiwan)... but they'll need to expand into a bigger market to keep that line chart going. They plan on China and India... hopefully, they go with India, first! I'll pick up a few shares of $PPGH just for fun! Thanks for sharing!
Today has been quite the day. Accidentally sold some uncovered calls during the Bullard speach (instead of buying). Had to close them immediately, but I'd be up a ton had I kept them. Better than where I'd be if I bought calls, but that was my 3rd pattern day trade warning for the week. A few hours later I said "nah" on ANGH at $12, but decided buying NRGV calls at the top was a fabulous idea. Lost 60% and dumped them for another round trip trade. So yeah, my options play account is gonna be restricted. Probably for the best. On a positive note, with how shitty the market looks, somehow my account is green. GGPI & CFVI warrants holding strong and SPAQ & PPGH finally moving up. Let's get Russia, OpEx, & rate hikes over with so we can finally move on with life.
IPOD/F and LEAP seem like ones that seem to recover first and have historically spent a lot of time over NAV but are still below $10. If you're looking for post-DA, maybe BSGA, FPAC, or PPGH. OK, PPGH might just be my hopium speaking.
ALTU personally has me worried from that list and up for expiration in July. BREZ I’m trying to dump, such an outrageous valuation. A good target, but such a bad deal. Maybe chance they recut it? PPGH my largest position, every indication things are moving along as planned with recent filings and tons of PR and a pipe to cover redemptions.
PPGH upsized PIPE and keeps getting PRs out every week and not enough. Until we get interest in commons and not warrants isn’t going to happen. Gotta have big fish want in.
I am holding HUGS APSG ACTD PPGH KPLT CLBT BWAC AMPS and SPAQ warrants right now. Down a lot on these and anyone who did not pick these in the last 2 days will be down a lot anyhow. Some of these should do well.
PPGH are the only ones I'm confident in right now.
check out PPGH warrants also worth owning and crazy cheap also RCLF
We all have our, “What the heck!?” picks (probably have about 30 of them by now) but RCLFW still blowing my mind. A profitable/favorably valued company and trading like complete, utter junk. Didn’t PPGH also just beat expectations on a still recovering Covid year?
today I only added PPGH warrants so far
I just want to keep buying PPGH warrants, there's nothing else out there...gotta diversify though but they seem so cheap I mean they most likely will go back to 2 at some point in the next year or two right? Or is PPGH just a pump and dump, I see the usual pumpers on reddit on it some now...
