You could try an equal-weight S&P ETF like RSPA, or an ETF like SPXT that is the S&P minus tech.
Not that this makes it better but I was meaning to buy RSPA but was preoccupied watching my wife and her boyfriend canoodling in the corner so I mistakenly ordered RSPN then thought I was selling at $55.68 but fumbled once again.
RSP and RSPA are equal weighted S&P 500 funds. QQEW and QQQE are equal weighted Nasdaq 100 funds.
