2026.08.14. RVII-24 usd and 45 cents/hood ventures fund II raises $200Million in IPO
Got slightly concerned when my order of 600 shares filled 100%, instant drop on the IPO day because of the shorts just like RVI but looking at this product being the only way to get exposure to private equities from YC (& other) it has a USP. There's 80 companies in there so far with the fund expanding into more the coming months. I expect them to go in aggressively since that's how the PE market moves currently. With the high % fees I'd expect them to actively seek new portcos to justify this and create hype/performance around RVII. RVI performed rather well and provided a 3x exit 2-3 months in and considering the higher risk nature of this fund there's a lot of possibilities. That said, high risk high reward can go very wrong as well, so tread carefully. My prediction would be a similar cause to RVI where it "pumps" (probably more than RVI) then retraces to close to its original IPO value.
