Commercial production offers potential, but massive debt, persistent losses, dilution, and collapsing shareholder returns make it far too speculative for my strategy.
what do you think about SAFX?
I might add it to a “spec” watchlist, read the analyst summaries if they exist, and the public docs like 10k. I also then look at who the CEO and leadership are and google them for red flags like prior trading convictions, shareholder schemes etc. If there are a bunch of gaps I will literally put the business address into google and look at the streetview of their headquarters. I have seen stocks on here, esp AI startups, be headquartered out of minimalls in barren shitholes like Jackson Wyoming and then you just nope out. This is just the first bar. Once they appear to be “real” then you look at their business model, examine for plausibility, execution, and how they treat shareholders. Dilution is fatal. Read skeptics posts on the companies. If you can’t handle listen to the skeptics case against your stock, your not an investor you’re just in a cult. And you will get taken by charismatic assholes, FOMO and greed. As Feynman said, the easiest person to fool is yourself. Emotion leads to bad decisions. Lay out the cold case against the stock, how can it fail? Are these serious people? How much are you willing to risk to be completely wrong? Because lots of good ideas still fail. Then you’ve decided to invest, keep an eye on them and monitor for execution, dilutionary behavior, evidence they can’t pull off the scheme. Examples: HGRAF - neat story, can’t execute. Rode $2-7. Bought back in at 4, sold at 4.80 and considered it a disaster avoided. I was reading news stories about their CEO hanging with the yacht set, saying stupid shit. Their CEO is a joke, they can’t execute. Theranos vibes. AMFN - total joke. Followers cultists. CFO is a ufologist. They think they’re going to sokve fusion on the cheap when ITER and NIF can’t do it? The hardest problem in plasma physics? With a UFOlogist? And their CEO got busted backdating options in ths 00s and narrowly avoided jail by sobbing on the witness stand. Next. SAFX - I’m still in this one, interesting story, battered climate for renewables so maybe falsely depreciated value, hated for massive drop from IPO and previous values. However, leadership are serious people, they hit their marks, executed, now fulfilling ofders on diesel, no reason to think they won’t hit SAF. Steal at under $.50 … if they don’t dilute. They have in the past, they quasi diluted by issueing stocka to holders thus massively increasing the float (but not changing overall value). I like the stock. If they keep hitting their marks they’ll be a 20xer from 50 cents just by the numbers on revenue and a PE of 10. I can’t remember the name of the AI I found in that Jackson WY minimall. Dismissed it so fast but damn. You might as well invest in a meth lab to make your AI.
SAFX - get in now while you can!!
SAFX long term penny stock - won’t be for long
Dont listen to those who say to get index funds, go for the moonshot, all in on SAFX
SAFX is such a perfect example
Welcome to the SAFX club. We'll get a secret handshake and a shirt if the SAFX community keeps growing like it has been 👌🏼
Especially in the current geopolitical Energy shit storm. SAFX is perfectly positioned to deliver big returns.
Just short of 50,000 shares in SAFX, merger will be on the 24th September and will start producing SAF from around 9th October. The only way is up.
Yup, my SAFX shares!! This oil shit storm is great for a domestic production of biofuels 👌🏼
I have a sizeable stake in them at this point. I waited until they announced their actual refinery opening before buying, getting in around 0.35. Now that they have an actual revenue stream, the timing couldnt be better with the price of diesel, and the knowledge that refining capability is what is actually the problem with diesel production. Once they can start refining SAF fuel as well, I expect another bump in share price. I think their warrant price of ~$2.50 is probably their ceiling for now, but with the way this war is shaking out, who knows. Fwiw, Ive been accumulating all sorts of energy stocks in the last month or so. EONR, SAFX, SPWR, NFE, and MNTK.
I will let you know if/when SAFX takes off 🤞
SAFX. This American company produces biodiesel. Europe and post-Trump America will lean heavily into sustainable aviation fuel with biodiesel. By 2028 Europe will have strict mandates for sustainable fuel for airlines. Several large companies will make money from this but SAFX is in penny stock territory and has the most upside (and corresponding risk). They recently started earning money after finishing construction of a fuel facility (New Rise Reno), so the company is actually selling stuff now.
UPXI still has so much gas, and SAFX is out of available shares to short
