I’ve been investing for about a year and overall have been successful but back in August they jumped from something around $1 to low $2s after a deal was announced, I put $3000 on them and they dropped and stayed down. Just sold them last week finally and lost 60%. Annoyed but glad to not see them in my account anymore

SMXT - expecting this to run on open market?
SMXT is probably the play of the day. They won a $127.3 million contract and their market cap is $44m - float of only 30m too. I was lucky enough to grab a $1.1 position.

I've been fond of SMXT & MAXN lately. Both have given me considerable percentages. I'm starting my late 20s and just now getting into it, so I love value buys like MAXN that will likely rise due to imminent market increase. Solar is growing and will become standard for some industries
Well if we're looking at similar entries SMXT (solarmax energy) American Company that may be involved in the Chinese Market.. That did similar things.. started at $4, dropped, shot up to $11 for a second then dropped down and then has slowly gone back up.. thought that was odd and it reminds me of this stock a little but SMXT seems quite consistent at the moment with it's price
