Are you American? SSNLF. It's OTC though, your broker may charge fees.
It trades OTC as SSNLF, but good luck finding any sort of liquidity.
NLST Netlist (NLST) announced the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the United States Department of Justice have filed a joint public interest comment in connection with Netlist’s complaint before the United States International Trade Commission against Samsung (SSNLF), Google (GOOGL) and Super Micro (SMCI).
Intel is already the largest recipient of funding through the CHIPS Act. It was awarded $7.685B for projects supporting semiconductor fabrication and advanced packaging projects in Arizona, New Mexico, Ohio and Oregon. The current Trump plan is said to be focused on developing the Ohio hub. The next five largest CHIPS awards went to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ([TSM](https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TSM#hasComeFromMpArticle=false#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews)) at $6.6B, Micron Technology ([MU](https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MU#hasComeFromMpArticle=false#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews)) at $6.165B, Samsung ([OTCPK:SSNLF](https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SSNLF#hasComeFromMpArticle=false#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews)) at $4.745B, Texas Instruments ([TXN](https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TXN#hasComeFromMpArticle=false#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews)) at $1.61B and GlobalFoundries ([GFS](https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/GFS#hasComeFromMpArticle=false#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews)) at $1.5B, according to the [U.S. Department of Commerce](https://www.nist.gov/chips/chips-america-awards?page=0).
From Grok: Details on Samsung Electronics * Stock Exchange: Samsung Electronics is listed on the Korea Exchange (KRX) under the ticker symbol 005930.KS (common stock) and 005935.KS (preferred stock). It’s also available as an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) on the NASDAQ under the ticker SSNLF, though this is less commonly traded and reflects a smaller portion of the company’s value. * Market Status: As a publicly traded company, Samsung Electronics has been listed since 1975, with its market capitalization ranking it among the top global tech firms. As of recent data, its market cap is approximately $300–$350 billion USD (based on 2025 estimates from Bloomberg, adjusted for volatility), making it a significant player in semiconductors, smartphones, and consumer electronics. * Ownership: While publicly traded, Samsung Electronics has a complex ownership structure. The founding Lee family, through affiliates like Samsung Life Insurance and Samsung C&T, holds a controlling interest (around 5–10% directly, with additional influence via cross-holdings), giving them significant sway despite public ownership.

> Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) gained market share in smartphones during the second-quarter, even as smartphone sales slipped 9% year-over-year, Canalys said on Monday. > > The research firm said Apple (AAPL) had 17% of the market at the end of the period, partially due to demand for the iPhone 13. Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF) held the top spot and ended the period with 21% of the smartphone market, compared to 18% in the second-quarter of 2021. > > The gains for Apple (AAPL) and Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF) came at the expense of other handset makers, as Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo continued to lose share in China. At the end of the period, the three companies had 14%, 10% and 9% of the market, compared to 17%, 11% and 10% in the year-ago period. I'm seeing this as well
There are tickers but there's nothing that I've seen that has any ability to trade. SSNLF hasn't had a bid/ask that I've seen for a very long time.
Samsung is a Korean company that is not listed on a US exchange. Afaik - there is not a sponsored ADR available either. You can invest in Samsung on the OTC. Most brokers will not likely allow you to invest using the foreign ordinary because it is a limited pink issue. Foreign Ordinary on the OTC - [https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/SSNLF/overview](https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/SSNLF/overview) Note the lack of liquidity. There also appears to be an unsponsored ADR but I don't see any quotes for the ADS.

This is from Seeking Alpha: Himax Technologies Inc. (HIMX), a fabless semiconductor company from Taiwan, serves several markets with its products for smartphones, TVs, tablets, monitors, automotives, and gaming. The technologies are used by well-known companies like Samsung (OTC:SSNLF), Google (GOOGL), LG, Lenovo (OTCPK:LNVGY) and many more.
There is an unsponsored adr. SSNLF. I cannot say it's worth a fuck in any way, but it does seem to be possible to get exposure to Samsung equity in US markets.
