VCSA/TPGS - Lock up restrictions until price targets are met
Vacasa "IPO" rocket ship. (Via TPGS spac. It will be listed as VCSA soon). Anyone else on board?
Vacasa -- buying into their "IPO" through the spac (ticker symbol: TPGS)
Vacasa (TPGS)...any reason to not go into this? I get they don't have units or warrants but...

The ticker is changing today from TPGS to VCSA today. Most brokers will take time to make the switch, and the ticker will be in limbo during that time. You may not be able to buy online during that time. Could be hours up to a couple days. I'd be surprised if Vanguard had it changed before the end of the day today. If you're really anxious to buy today, you should be able to call Vanguard on the phone and have them make the purchase.
$TPGS - Ticker Change to Vacassa Tommorow. Lets Goooo!
Anyone know the ticker change date for TPGS/VCSA?
TPGS, why the delay in changing tickers... smh
buy TPGS before it goes up too high
Trying to post my 1st YOLO about TPGS (the Vacasa IPO / spac) . Vacasa is valued at about 4.5 billion but my YOLO post was rejected because the bot thought it was worth less than 1.5 billion. Any tips for a newbie? Or should I wait till tomorrow and post? I fear if I wait till TOGS is de-listed and replaced by VCSA it will be too late for all the other apes to learn of this glorious yolo and join me for a suicidal journey. Thank you.
I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: TPGS. Message /u/zjz if they're above 1.5 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC.
Well I'm definitely not holding TPGS through merger. Although i will probably buy back in some if it drops. I think it's a good stock.
Makes me think TPGS will fall hard on ticker change and will get a nice bounce in a few months.
probably moving my TPGS(vacasa) into DGNS(Cvent) looking at how the reopening play is fading.
Happy thanksgiving to everyone celebrating! I'm certainly grateful for this community. Looking forward to December mergers, especially CBAH and DMYQ but also curious to see how TPGS and DGNS perform.
Is it just me or does the trading action on TPGS lack confidence?
Any of you fine people know when the ticker change will be for AGC and TPGS?
TPGS lost NAV protection today or by Friday I guess.
Going to redeem 1/2 my remaining TPGS tomorrow in the hopes of hitting a potential freeroll with the JK clawbacks goin around lately
Thinking about holding Vacasa/TPGS through deSPAC. Travel stocks have been doing fairly well recently.
who is hopping on the VCSA/TPGS SPAC deal with me? $85k yolo all in babyyyyyy
Does anyone know when the floor is removed for TPGS? I’m thinking tomorrow since Thursday is a holiday?
I would load up on TPGS and CND at current prices
When does the floor fall out on TPGS? I believe it is Wednesday close?
What's the chance that TPGS VACASA becomes a low float squeeze?
TPGS 3500 shares bought and added 1000 FTCV. Contemplating selling some calls on FTCV, anyone doing this? prices have dropped a lot unfortunately in the last few days.
$TPGS - Vacasa This a US reopening play that has already beat and raised guidance for 2021 and 2022. This is primed to run having being priced during the SPAC apocalypse. Merging on 11/30, so you can still pick this up for NAV and have some downside protection.
What are the most interesting despacs in the upcoming weeks? I got my eyes on TPGS(Vacasa) DGNS(Cvent) DDMX(Codere) Any others I am missing out on?
TPGS has zero warrant coverage.
Blessing up your portfolio, all I will need in return is a breakdown of the redemption squeeze potential of TPGS
The majority of PIPE deals that happened during the bad months were still done at $10 per share though. But yes, during bad SPAC cycles sponsors are sometimes forced to offer PIPE some sweeteners. The idea is that they have a lower cost basis than you and might dump as soon as they can (not saying it's going to be the case with TPGS but worth noting nonetheless).
[Just Posted some DD on Vacasa ($TPGS)](https://www.reddit.com/r/SPACs/comments/qxlrtc/micasa_vacasa_a_sleeper_reopening_play/)
TPGS volume above $10 seems to be around 16 Million. It crossed 10 mid September and avged 350k per day. So arbs are almost out - not sure how many are with institutions long term and how much is free float. Biggest problem with TPGS is buy now and sell before merger and see it moon as most runs happen on de-SPAC or own through merger and expose yourself to more risk.
It’s so lame I can’t sell calls on any of my post DAs except FTCV (TPGS DCRN CBAH DMYQ SBEA) WEN OPTION! DMYSU at 10.72! I made a huge mistake not loading in under 10.3 or 10.4. Loving my .56 cents on my single 10.16 share lol. How much is the warrant worth post split? I don’t want to pay more than 1.2ish to start a position.
I’m in with you on TPGS. If it were an IPO, I’d buy at $10 at this valuation.
Market is red, so bought something today. Bought a position in $TPGS - Vacasa Rentals They just raised '21 guidanceto $875M from $757M
No warrants but check out TPGS for a similar set up. Earnings were good, vote is 11/30
I think people are sleeping on TPGS. Looks really good IMO
These guys are not going to revolutionize the hospitality industry. They're in a few major cities total. Seriously like 20. Globally. I've been following them for 4-5 years from when they were tiny-er. I wanted to believe in them but their progress, or lack thereof disappointed me heavily. The problem is they have a long ramp and high capital cost; mostly full building acquisitions in expensive, downtown areas of major cities. Great in normal times for the business traveler who doesn't want a shitty hotel, but still overall small impact in the industry. Their model doesn't scale. Pretty god awful when all business travel and those expense accounts dry up. Business travel will lurch and stumble back to life in the next year but Sonder is such a drop in the goddamn ocean it's incredible. They are a great speculateive acquisition buy. One of the stupid, uncreative hotel companies will buy them. I'd guess IHG or Hilton as they have no creativity of their own. Buy Vacasa (TPGS) instead. They have crushed it the last few years and are now the largest vacation rental management company and partner at the hip with AirBnB. Vacasa is the future of vacation stays, and regardless of whether there is never another corporate business conference that is attended, humans will always want to vacation.
It’s a conversation starter. People toss out individual names, new info, new prospects, etc. every day that just get lost in the feed. I attempted to put them together in one place with a rough hierarchy to 1) bring awareness to what might be under the radar, and 2) give some idea of what tickers people seem to be the most optimistic about. Yes, it’s short term based on the metrics I mentioned. Your recommendations of TPGS and CBAH are welcome suggestions. I hadn’t seen much about this but its already gotten multiple mentions. I also feel it has a lot more purpose or value than the average weekend comment in the daily discussion thread 🙂
>based mainly on price action, sentiment, and proximity to merger Seems you are *only* ranking these in order of (1) near-term trade potential or even based on share-price, as opposed to (2) medium to long-term investment potential given the valuation, quality of the target, the tier of the sponsor, structure of the SPAC deal and alignment of interests, PIPE investors etc. If you were giving (2) any real consideration, TPGS would certainly be tier-2 at least and CBAH would be tier-1. I'm kinda at a loss as to the purpose or value of your post.

TPGS risk/reward is phenomenal. Jealous of anyone who can load the boat at these prices (I'm out of amo).
FYI Vacasa goes public Nov 30 after market. SPAC symbol TPGS will change to VCSA.
TPGS vote set for 11/30. Could be a real sleeper I think.
I mean our bae PPGH had $250M PIPE, GLBL had $165M PIPE. Let’s not forget that XPOA had that crappy PIPE and TPGS as well, but those deals were done a long time ago. That didn’t mean several following DAs had those crappy terms. It just so happens that once in a while, the PIPE terms kinda suck, but that doesn’t affect following deals.
Yeah, totally... Just look at HIMS — oh wait, they beat their 2021 revenue projections by 30%; and HZAC/Vivid seats — oh wait, they beat their 2021 EBITDA projection by 150% this quarter; or TBLA — oh wait, they beat their 2021 EBITDA projections by 10%; or TPGS/Vacas — oh wait, they beat their 2021 revenue projections by 70% last quarter...
Personally I like GENI the most here, and GSAH. TPGS could be good but I haven’t looked into that one much yet and am in no rush as it seems like it will be stuck below nav for quite some time. I stay away from biotech companies so SLGC is not something I’d invest in
