I traded YMAT this morning. I haven't found fresh company news today that explains the move. It looks more like a low-float momentum/volume move right now — reported float is only around 664K. Worth knowing they also filed a mixed shelf for up to $150M on Sept. 4, so there is dilution risk hanging over it. I wouldn't assume the move is news-driven unless somebody finds a new filing/PR.
Anyone know why YMAT is moving around?
I’m not great at this, and I still have a ton to learn. But YMAT paid me nicely today, and it’s not a one-off. I’m starting to recognize a pattern in my own trading: when I stay disciplined, wait for my setup, manage my risk and take the profit I planned, I tend to do well. When I get impatient, chase, or let FOMO make the decision, that’s when I lose. If you're treating penny stocks like lottery tickets, you're gambling. If you're trading them, risk management and execution matter more than being right about the story. I’m still learning that lesson every damn day.
