523(a)(3)(A) is an exception to discharge of certain debts if the creditor has actual notice of a BKR filing in time to make a timely POC filing
actual knowledge is grounds for barring a later attempt to collect, so not exactly true. agreed unsecured creditors unlikely to collect much in a 7, and maybe this ends up in a 7, but they say “reorganize” here, so chance it doesn’t end up in a 7. worth a shot in my view to get filed into the BKR and hope something comes of it.
We have a thing called BKR that registers what kind of loans you’ve made and if you pay them back on time etc. But it isn’t a score system. Most people don’t really get a lot of loans, but banks could for example give you a lower mortgage if you have a big student debt
