Amen my dude; I've still got DKC2's OST embedded deep in my memory. Simpler times indeed. Nowadays it feels like we save up $60, put it into Bitcoin, and turn it into $50 lol. Here's hoping it gets better with time.
When I was a little kid, I saved up $60 doing chores for months. My mom and step-dad bought me the SNES with the DK1 theme / game. That game became a lifelong best friend overnight. When DKC2 came out, my mom got me the special edition that came with a long sleeve white Nintendo t shirt. DKC2's soundtrack still plays at my house weekly during work hours.
