Steel is on Fire: And $TMST is Trading Nearly at Book Value with Solid Financials

STLD, TMST too. I'm in X
If you like steel, TMST looks good. This is financial advice
Zim is a good play, that one just keeps going. I'm into some of the common Uranium plays uuuu and CCJ also some steel like X and a small cap one TMST which I believe is gonna $20 very soon. It usual follows a channel with CLF but as of last month it has jumped out of that channel and it climbing faster and falling less than CLF. They also approved a buyback of $50mil which is 20%+ of the non instutional owned shares and to my knowledge they have not bought back any so far
My recent favorite is TMST. Steel industry, has done well this year and is set to continue. Plus, they're local so I get to support my state, too.
I just looked at VALE earlier, it does look good. TMST looks pretty great, too. Plus it's local, so I feel some pride in it. Planning on taking a decent sized position on that, and possibly PNT. The steel market is feeling pressure from the carbon emissions limits so I'm thinking KRBN and TMST/PNT/VALE might be a nice, somewhat inversely correlated position. They'll likely both do well but they shouldn't both fail, at least. Famous last words...
Glad I wasn’t the only one who got bummed fuck TMST
QCOM SATS CTVA DD MAT TMST ZIM POWW ... Making out like bandits baby!
I was thinking the same thing about Timken Co. [$TKR] They make steel bearings either them or [$TMST]
Any steelgang looking at TMST earnings next week? If clf and x and tmst last earnings are indicators it should pop. 11/19s?
Given your interest in P/B, why are you not all over ArcelorMittal? MT has P/B = 0.7 (i.e., trading *below* what it is worth in assets), as well as having lower P/E, P/S, comparable debt/equity, and possibly better margins (MT has reported the previous quarter already so might change once TMST reports). By all of your financial metrics, MT seems like the better value. And an alternative take on high institutional ownership - this is not ideal for share price growth because it means the big money is already in and can't drive the price up with large buys and also means that there are large numbers of shares ready to be sold once the price hits their target. However, it does restrict the free float which in some sense makes it easier for small buyers to influence the price. By the way, last quarter TMST followed a 50% beat on earnings estimates by dropping 10% over the next month. Even beating earnings again this time doesn't mean the price will soar. Similarly, that previous lackluster response doesn't mean similar will happen this time. Just food for thought.
I’m jacked to the fucking tits on TMST and adding at any weakness. Selling puts , calls and long dated buying calls. Can’t wait for ER. This fucker is going to bust
$X (US Steel Corp) Reported Earnings and [absolutely crushed it](https://news.yahoo.com/united-states-steel-x-surpasses-214509589.html). I’m thinking shorts will be departing the steel market tomorrow. Moreover I found this undervalued gem about 5 days ago trading seriously below what I believe the company is worth. And [their financials look solid.](https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TMST/key-statistics?p=TMST)
I been enjoying the newsletter. Skeptical at first buying shit from some joker on Reddit selling his stick “ advice “ but I was proved wrong. And for how cheap it is, can’t go wrong. BTW I am already in the profit on POWW and TMST. Swing traded AMKR aswell
I've been thinking about buying steel stocks before earnings come in. What is the best steel stock to buy right now? I've been looking into SXC, X and TMST.

TMST is another steel manufacturer in the US and nobody talks abo them on Reddit which is probably a good thing.
I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: TMST. Message /u/zjz if they're above 1.5 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC/SPACs.
Back in May I tracked Max Pain vs. Actual closing price for the May 21st expiration cycle on the stocks I was wheeling at the time. Overall it was hit or miss, but the products I'm wheeling are boring, low volatility. and have *meh* amounts of open interest so your results may very. May 21 Max Pain vs. Actual Stock Max-Pain Actual Diff AA: 31.00 36.14 +5.14 LPX: 67.50 65.15 -2.35 PBI: 8.00 7.95 -0.05 SXC: 7.50 7.12 -0.38 TMST: 10.00 14.14 +4.14 WTI: 3.00 3.63 +0.63 WY: 38.00 37.11 -0.89 I still keep an eye on max pain, but use it more as a measure of sentiment than likely outcome. Of course I only seem to be good at not losing money while selling options and I only occasionally beat a buy and hold strategy for the same stocks and time frames I wheeled them. I should also add that LPX kicked me and my wheel strategy in the balls the last few months. I'm almost to the point it is time to take the loss and get my limited capital back to work..
Your kind reply calmed down my newby jitters and look what happened with TMST earnings! Thank you!
NRZ but the dividends are good at 7% Also TMST down 15% from what I bought it.

Here are a few of my small cap stocks that did very well today. Also included are ones that did very well last week when all other stocks were taking. They're mostly not talked about and are ignored by Reddit. Most of the stocks listed below are considered undervalued and have low debt and/or high free cashflow. Did best today: * Laredo Petroleum, $LPI, up 14.35% today * Callon Pete, $CPE, up 12.05% today (it's also a short squeeze candidate) * Timken Steel, $TMST, up 7.15% today (it's considered very undervalued with room to grow) * Matador, $MTDR, up 7.13% today * USD partners, $USDP, only up 5.49% today but it pays a 6.57% dividend (and is considered very undervalued with room to grow) * Sachem Capital, $SACH, only up 4.42% today, but this is an REIT that pays 9.21% interest Did best last week during selloff: Holy cow my small/microcap shipping stocks did well last week. Here's a chart: https://imgur.com/0cSpqrY I was posting about marine shipping stocks because they were in a multi-year low even before the pandemic closures hit. They're the kind of businesses that do well during inflation because they're cash machines. Most of these have been multibaggers since I first posted about marine shipping rebound stocks last Fall.
TMST - Up almost 10% and climbing on 25% of daily volume. That's my boy!
Thoughts on TMST steel?
Get your tickets! TMST and CLF Final Boarding Call!

Worked at TMST for years. Avoiding that stock like the plague at this point. Place seemed to make every wrong move possible to the point where I can’t even buy it as a meme.
TMST also I bought at 8 and sold at 12, it’s over 16 now
You better add nue and TMST. Far better gains

Someone didn't invest in Steel TMST, MT, X and CLF man
TMST is my low cap sleeper.
TMST flipping the rest of steel, love it!
I've been doing very well with steel stocks: TMST, ZKIN and SXC (SXC makes coking materials for steel production). Also aluminum has popped lately (e.g. Alcoa). The materials ETF, XME, has been doing very well.
Torn between $TMST and $CLF
TMST calls at open. You're welcome
God damn i hate you. Dont you confirm my bias like that TMST has been my sercet bae for a month.
Does TMST mean Touching My Sisters Tits?
TMST is the one often missed when people talk steel. Up 100% since announcing the new CEO in January who was a former senior VP at US Steel (X) Restructuring has led to a spike in profits and expe ted EPS. They have a steady line of customers with the other Timken Companies using them exclusively for a supplier. The future looks solid for them even without the looming steel bull market
I plan to keep raising my average on TMST.
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, TMST. Yell at /u/zjz if it's above 1 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC/SPACs.
TMST steel is very undervalued imo
What's going on with TMST? It missed earning and is rocketing?
I got in on MT, hasn't moved much yet. TMST grew heavy, for a reason I couldn't find.
Haha no worries, thx for the reply, I saw the other thread. I’m giving your strategy a shot today just with some small amounts. I saw this random company TMST was surging today, and I bought a few puts on it when it was at +30% for the day. It’s trading at around $8 but it usually trades around 5, and I can’t find any reason why it’s trading higher. They also just laid off 100 people this month which seems like a red flag for a small company. You have me wondering about AMC now but AMC scares me haha.
What is going on with TMST? I can’t find anything to indicate the reason for movement
TMST to $15 by end of week, this is possible based on back end research showing that I like the stock 🚀🚀
FI , TMST are flying 43% , 40% respectively 🚀🚀🚀
TMST on the move 38% up at the moment 🚀🚀🚀
I sold I don’t like red. Now I’m in the green with TMST, making a lot of my money back, I wonder when I should cash out?
