We need a solid DA to reignite the SPAC space… or we may head straight into SPAC winter. So many out there just sitting — ALF, APTX, ATII, BCSS, CUB, FCRS, IPOD, KFII, NOEM, PMTR, TACH, TVA, WENN, and plenty more. What are they waiting for? New SPACs are IPO’ing constantly and the market’s been strong. Feels like if the market dips, the excuse will just flip to “conditions aren’t right”… so when is the right time then lol? Just my opinion — not financial advice.
We need a solid DA to reignite the SPAC space …or possibly face SPAC winter. So many out there, just to name a few.. ALF, APTX, ATII, BCSS, CUB, FCRS, IPOD, KFII, NOEM, PMTR, TACH, TVA, WENN, and many more. What are they waiting for? More new spacs are IPO’ing every week, and we are almost at an all time high. Watch when the market dips, sponsor’s excuse may be something like: Well… now the market conditions aren’t right. So when is the right time then lol?
If you didn't cry during the series finale of ALF, then we can't be friends.
Been digging into $ALF / $ALFUW (Centurion Acquisition) a bit and wanted to sanity check this with others. Team is actually pretty legit on the operator side — ex-Jagex CEO, gaming/interactive background across leadership. What stood out to me is they added Thomas Vu to the board in June 2025 — former Riot Games exec (League of Legends), also tied to EA and now on boards like Jagex. That feels like a pretty intentional add if they’re serious about staying in the gaming / interactive lane. That said, timing is getting tight. Deadline is around mid-2026 and there’s still no deal announced. Commons sitting near trust and warrants cheap kind of reflects that “could go either way” setup. My read: • Team/network points pretty clearly toward a gaming or interactive target • But clock risk is real at this point Not saying it’s a buy or anything — just trying to figure out if this is a legit setup that’s just quiet, or one that’s running out of time. Curious if anyone else has looked into this.
Is ALF ALFUW really that bad of a pre-DA spac? Looks like decent gaming-oriented sponsors, but warrants have been bleeding none stop over the last few months.
Man I love ALF. Fucking love that alien.
Big volume in ALFUW today.. Thoughts on this one? ALF (Centurion Acquisition Corp) are the commons. (Former Jagex ceo for all the RuneScape folks out there)
What a throwback! ALF was awesome
If you didn't cry at the end of the ALF Christmas special, then we can't be friends. I'm sorry.
The 1987 ALF Christmas Special is free to watch on YouTube. How is Google not a $5 trillion company?
I still have ALF warrants, but not high conviction. Anything noteworthy about the others?
*big yawn* on pre-da SPAC announcements lately.. Looking at you LEGT, POLE, ALF, CUB, DRDB, IPOD, NOEM, OACC, TVA, and many more… Or just drag your feet like the last SPAC cycle back in 2021 and be a part of the mass liquidations… Sponsors need to feel the urgency before it’s too late.
No idea.. just listing out Ai top picks that align with target industries of the spac or industries the management team has experience in. But the ALF spac ceo was the former ceo of Jagex. So that would be an awesome meme’y sort of pick. Especially for all the RuneScapers out there lol.
ALF. With Thomas Vu added to the board, I considered the possibility of Creta World. It's a gaming platform over blockchain, with an impressive team/partners.
New here - found Centurion Acquisition Corp. (ALF) ran by Mark Gerhard, founder of Jagex and veteran of the videogame industry. His former spac Ascendant Digital Acquisition Corp became Marketwise and seemingly rose 50% upon the deal. That deal went through 1yr and 6m after founding the spac; ALF is 1yr 5m old. Might keep an eye on it.
Do you remember ALF? He's back! In pog form.
Remember when ALF would eat cats? Wild
I have some ALF, that's trading under 30 cents. Former RuneScape CEO. Board addition Thomas Vu has an interesting background (Netflix's Arcane, League of Legends, Maxis' Sim City/Sims/Spore, etc). Maybe they can find a target in that sector, at an attractive valuation. Also have some SIMA (under 30 cents), but that's a very boring pick.
Another ALF holder. There's tens of us! I've had some since board addition. I'd like to think Vu has more integrity, and common sense about business valuations.
I've been holding $ALF warrants for a hot minute. Hope something good comes.
$ALF. Goldman owned 1.8mm shares last year, sold off 1mm shares beginning of the year, and now (today) reports owning 1.8mm again. 🤓. Extremely low trading volume here. Only notable news I've seen in latest months is the addition of Thomas Vu to the Board, and an early investor (Harraden Circle) increasing their position from 1.6mm to 2.2mm shares.
$ALF (no target) seems very obscure. CEO from RuneScape. New board member (Thomas Vu) has a great resume (Netflix's Arcane, Riot's LoL, EA's Sims, Sim City, Spore, etc). He's currently part of Dubai's Creta team (web3 blockchain gaming), along with other industry heavy-hitters.
Not once over the course of ALF did I ever see Gordon's scrotum
Go talk to some 80 year olds. If you don’t have grandparents around, go volunteer at the senior center or ALF. If that doesn’t work, find an elderly neighbor driving a 20 year old Buick. Really….sit down and talk to them. They’ve seen it all, and many of them are quite well to do. Yes this is unprecedented bullshit, but our country and its people are stronger and more resilient than any fly-by-night malignant narcissist. And to answer your question directly, yes it’s probably a blip, and likely a big one that’s long overdue. Buy little bits all the way down, do your own research, diversify. Go touch grass, plant a garden, make a casserole, play Yahtzee.
I was watching ALF the other day and he mentioned Mango. This fucker has been in the U.S. zeitgeist forever.
I worked as director of dining services in an ALF through COVID... It was brutal and we didn't even get hit hard. Morale went to the floor, folks quit left right and center. Then the COVID test were like that scene from The Thing with the blood.. someone could call up and have the sneezes and be out for 10 days while everyone else pulled the weight. It fucking sucked.
Easily 5 to 6 grand a month for a long term care facility, and that's 2022 prices when we moved my mother to an ALF. But even living at home is outrageous in retirement! $185 for Medicare a month, $240 for a medicare supplement policy, $450 a month for home insurance, $150 auto insurance, $500 plus for various utilities, THEN there are just the month to month costs of living like FOOD. I'm spending MORE in retirement per month than I did working full time with a 6 figure salary!
Admit you are a degenerate gambler who lives in a market fantasy yolo’ing the money you steal from your grams who’s in an ALF! The handout economy was a house of cards whose roosters have come home! Have to get the factories back here to get our economy out of the hands of the PRC! Wake up! Go buy your 0dte calls and stay out of adult business! Trump is right and I’ll support him!
Yup, I've got a binder full of ALF and Urkel Pogs. I'm gonna be Rich. RICH! I tell you!

The liquidity of ALF Pogs is low, because only like 3 people are interested in buying them at any price. https://images.app.goo.gl/LgjD2hSB1zgp6rCn6

ALF Facial Recognition Technology with tablets in airports and rideshare cars for adshare revenue. Rough point as of now with CEO replacement, but the tech is there and business model makes sense.

ALF should sneak in there too.
That makes two of us. Lol. Bag holder here at $10.3 ish. & can’t let my money just go. Another stupidity of mine with no brain. My bag holds OCGN, WKHS, ALF, SOLO, XERS and many more. I have lost 75% of my retirement IRA fund on ALF.

As someone still holding ALF after their recent announcement and pullback, I'd have to agree I have grown more tolerable to substantial risk.
with low floats, you don't even need options chain for it to x5 the SP in a week or 2 see ALF, MRIN etc

ALF 41m vol traded today, 8m float 🤔
ALF is back! In Pog form.
I'll share the losers too. Winners: LCLP - Went up 2200% over two days from subpenny amounts. On the first day it consistently stair stepped the EMA from morning to close with only one dip that quickly resumed into strength. Unfortunately I was so scared of a sudden crash into downhalts that I only made 10% on the stock taking careful size and taking profits quickly, but that's 10% of my whole account in a series of in and out positions. BTX - A similar one day case of stair stepping all day long. I was afraid of it because I didn't understand what failing to meet Nasdaq requirements meant, but was bold with position size and made almost as much in one day as I did later on LCLP over two days. ALF - I bought this because I like the sitcom ALF. Another all day stair stepper. AMC - I'm furious that I only got a small piece of this action in June because I had flooding issues at my apartment but I still profited well during that time and have found it to be fairly predictable since then for day trades. It has a habit of making V moves from open to close. Probably not fun for scalpers because it's so manipulated during the day, but if you grab it at the right time you can be in AMC for hours watching it climb back up from a selloff and surge when it crosses into green on the day. ORPH - I threw caution to the wind and jumped into this stock after multiple uphalts, which were luckily followed by multiple uphalts straight through the atmosphere before shedding, like, 80% just before close, but that didn't compare to my profit taking half the day. My attempt to find stair steppers, enter after uphalts, and predict AMC has not been successful in the summer. I learned bad lessons from my successes in the spring. The losers: MEDS - I chased after this one with huge size in the morning because I felt as long as I cut fast if I lost, it was worth the possibility of being in an all day stair stepper with my full account size. I have settled cash only and hate scalping so I basically tried to play a shell game. If I picked the wrong one today, or tomorrow, and cut within a few minutes if I chose wrong, then the winning pick would be MASSIVE once I chose the shell with the nut beneath it. I chose poorly days in a row, but this was the worst, and then stopped doing that before I was able to successfully pick a winner. AHPI - The behavior on this stock is so weird. Price action moved erratically like a robot adjusting course instead of buyers and sellers in a tug of war. Every time I was in this one I would see it human like trading and then it would suddenly drop in robotic chunks of movement like 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 cent drop. Resume human trading. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 cent drop. Resume human trading. I just kept trying to get in on this thing that was going up strongly overall and every time I bought, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 cent drop to stop loss. After each one of those it would surge in humanlike trading but I'd stare at it stunned at what just happened while it was going up. LEDS - Funny how the ticker name is so similar to MEDS. I can't afford expensive live traders like Ross, so when Ross decided to do a free live trading video, I bought the stock he was trading at open. The Youtube video was minutes delayed so I was flying blind not knowing if he was buying or selling, and thus cut my substantial loss before seeing on the delayed Youtube video that he had done so much earlier than I did. I was just an amateur trying to mirror trade without a functioning mirror. MVIS - I followed the Reddit hype. I read a lot about the company on and off of Reddit, saw a great scientific breakdown of why they were cutting edge, talked to my friend who uses similar technology to get his opinion on it. The moment I bought this stock, I stopped seeing it mentioned in WSB. It's like the whole thing was a dream after earnings came out, despite people claiming it was the longer term they were focused on. ATHE - I think this was just a large collection of summer trades that dropped whenever I bought and surged whenever it stopped me out. A weird pattern of dropping at the first signs of breakouts and rising on the first signs of breakdowns.
ALF new company that sells adverts in Uber and Lyft cabs on their own tablets but they also do other advertising stuff.
Same with me with ALF. Great CEO. No longer a penny stock but still undervalued IMO
SPRT squeezy whales moving to ALF next, big movement primed for Friday and next week. you heard it here first.
