Recover what? ALL your loses? how? One of us isn't understanding something. If you have $500 in BTX on a CEX and $500 in BTC in cold storage and it crashes 75%, you now have $125 in BTC on the CEX, and $125 BTC in cold storage. How is selling that $125 recovering? That's just selling at a loss.

It's classic r/cc shit, write a post less than 24h after one of the biggest news of the decade to say "see nothing happened, I was right" A "sell the news" even of that scale wouldn't play out in a matter of mere hours. It could bounce on 50k still (it has cerraibly confirmed resistance az 48-49k). It could dump once real volume starts to come in the ETF and for some reason it's much lower than expected. It could just continue trending upward because well, it's the period of the cycle where BTX goes up and during these times BTC doesn't really give a shit about macro factors. It could pump because Elon says something like "if BTC is good enough for the SEC then it's again good enough to buy a Tesla with"... Who fucking knows. It's all about laying out the scenarios and be prepared to react when one plays out.

> It's not secure. How many times have crypto protocols been hacked? I don't want to sounds like a Bitcoin maxi (I am not), but would like to point out that 99% of what you are saying doesn't apply to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is secure, no Bitcoin "protocol" was ever hacked, the usability is easy (no smart contracts, no blind signing, clear transactions: I am sending X BTX to Y, etc). Bitcoin transactions are not expensive. And I could go on. The point is: just because 99% of the crypto space is trash doesn't mean that all parts are. And again, I am saying this genuinely not as a BTC maxi - I own tons of different coins, I regularly interact with smart contracts and so on.

No, clearly he’s a whale, my point is that the stat the OP and the tweet he posted are citing doesn’t actually count individual people. This is just counting the number of UTXOs with a balance under 1 BTX. One wallet (controlled by a single person) could theoretically have a million individual UTXOs. If you’ve used a HW wallet you have likely seen how it generates a new address every time you receive BTC?

I think that looks good. Saw your comment about BTX and that’s smart. Here’s one question to consider though- are you actually using all those chains? If you aren’t using the chains and don’t understand the features and drawbacks from a user perspective (because long term, that’s what drives adoption to a particular chain), how you can really know what you are investing in?

Post is by: raulshawn and the url/text [ ](https://goo.gl/GP6ppk)is: /r/CryptoCurrency/comments/s2d4w1/scam_alert_need_help/ HELP! This incredible community has done a lot to assist new crypto users and the time has come where I need your help and support. A friend of mine was recently hacked by a scam project called "BTX" This is her first-ever crypto transaction, so please be kind! A person pretending to assist my friend helped her with opening the Binance account & coached her on how to convert the Fiat to USDT. Upon conversion to USDT, this person asked her to send the newly converted USDT to a wallet address - TAqZM7GxUmng6iRtRZVx7q9JKvjGgzMs6n TXID - 19d3f73453be1b4ee9e877139ac10e9f6a980066b9ef99423c5901fb706552f9 Upon sending over $3k USDT in multiple transactions now the same person is asking her to pay tax to release her USDT, over $3k just in taxes. He said he will pay half of such "tax" at first and she now owes $1800 to get her $3k released. The purpose to transfer the USDT to the wallet address above remain unknown and since my friend is so new to crypto has no idea what she was doing. Any help at this point is highly appreciated, she is recently divorced and fighting for every penny and this comes as a huge blow to her life. I cannot thank anyone in advance for helping us. My friend did share the link to the website but I haven't even clicked this link with a fear of malware/phishing cookies being attached to my PC (Happy to DM if anyone is an expert on this) *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I just font get it how dou csn make ANY chain that os not quantum secure to start with quantum secure later on. I mean lets rake BTX for example. A private key gived access to xour coins. If you have satoshis privat key you gave acess to his coins. Now as doon ad privat keys can be cracket somebody can get acces to those satoshi coins. Nothing you change about the chain from now on can prevent that except if smth that also denies satoshi himself access. If quantum security does not exist from day 1 of a chain I dont see how it can be fixed later on without denying people access to old wallets

I hope it’s not because a futures ETF actually does have more than nothing to do with the underlying asset. you the investor may not own BTC when you invest it the BTC futures ETF, and the ETF itself also may not own it. but as a cash-settled futures contract, the other end of the futures contract DOES own BTC. popularity in an ETF plus a rising futures price actually creates increased demand in the asset. so while it may be good advice to own the underlying asset, saying a futures ETF has less than nothing to do with said asset is wrongheaded. separately and moreover, unless you are telling ppl to be 100% in BTC, there are still legitimate BTX maxi reasons one may want to be invested in the futures ETF. you can’t hold and sell BTC tax free in US or CA. but if you invest in the BTC futures ETF via a Roth IRA or TFSA, you can get your tax-free equities to now get BTC exposure.

It is quite fine to include shit coins in your stack, just minimize the risk. Think of it like a $2 scratchoff with far better odds. I missed the millionaire boat a few times now. Kraken failed to approve me when I wanted to buy $350 BTX @ 15 cents. I bought $300 in DOGE when it was $0.05 and already took $1000 profit back and the rest rides. I tossed a littlle at FLOKI a month ago, and took triple profits with the seed about double still. PolkaDog doubled my $30 investment. I am upside or close to even in seven more but the total amount is under $75. I have less than 1% of my portfolio in these, but they pay better than scratchoffs so far.

What is happening with AMC is same that happened to BTX, what are you guys doing is overblowing the situation, and even BTX actually was in the better position for a squeeze, so if you people think that the whole world would choose AMC over Crypto not sure that that is happening, and Crypto volume is way bigger and we are talking in billions over millions in AMC.

There is no day trading restriction on crypto. RH doesn’t have fees for trades in stock because they get payment for order flow. I suspect they include gas fees into their price hence the discrepancy with other exchanges, regardless it sounds like you are buying at market this is why you are getting the buying power message. Crypto price mov3s very fast. Use limit orders instead of buying at market. BTX shows a huge increase in April not a steady increase like you mentioned looking at news it seems like it was a pump and dump but I’m not a financial advisor.

yeah and as OP said, quite sure that many pple sold at 100USD/BTX because it was still very unsure at that time. One of the reasons why m now in is that crypto is now heading towards consolidation, particularly the main coin - 1 trillion USD won't vanish overnight/is a pyramid scam or whatever. The wild pioneer era is gone for the main coins, less crazy gain (although, maybe in 4 years...) but much less risk also. And still a lot of new halfy scammy "moonshot coins" to bet on. I am slowly starting to understand the technology better, but still far from getting the whole picture. It is useless to beat yourself up for not investing 10 years ago, or believe that you would have done it "if this or that happened".

I can't take decisions for you, but I'm targetting LTC at 5% of BTX which is currently 3K. I you are willing to trade on lower-cap coins with more volatility, you should not pick LTC which is only a currency. If you are willing to store value in a strong currency that is undervalued, it's a good choice. I have held LTC since 2016.

I've been watching my transactions and investments carefully and found the same. Any realized gains (or losses) are also impacted by hidden fees or margins depending on the wallet someone is using. Like Coinbase because they trade on margin, which is often hidden unless you read their materials carefully. From Coinbase: "Coinbase charges a spread margin of up to two percent (2.00%) for cryptocurrency conversions."  This means every time someone trades BTX for ADA, for example, there is a 2% "fee". This margin also swings favorable to Coinbase. 2% adds up!! So, I agree - Hold and find a wallet that has cleaner transactions!

In the early days of the www, the question arose as to why anyone should operate a web server and publish content on it free of charge. operating a web server cost money and time. And before the www as we know it today, there was, for example, the "Bildschirmtext" or BTX (German "screen text") in Germany, and here you paid a few cents for every page you called up. So you had to decide each time whether it was worth calling up a page or not. Well, we all know how that story turned out. running a web server and putting free content or services on the net (search engines, video sharing sites) doesn't have a direct financial advantage at first. but indirect ones via additional services, advertising and premium content. The incentive for a business to operate a Nano node is the same as to operate a web server.

11. Crypto investment is fucking weird and doesn't show any sign of reasoning. You gain or you lose at the mercy of sheer coincidence. BTX and ETH aren't "safe", they just happen to be a larger coin that has the potential to exist longer than tokens riding on its success.
