But now they've full chain margins and I guess they will actually going to report great ebitda margins, maybe not in 2026 because of integration struggles, but they're probably there again in 2027. I guess they're going to do +40% in the next two years.
The company was called Commscope (COMM) ; after a few years of big losses (partially due to huge debt), they were hitting on all cylinders last year with vertical growth ; but I guess they had already decided to sell a part / 66% of their company to Amphenol (AMP) , luckily at huge price of $10.5B (due to finally huge data center/ai/telecom/WiFi growth and profits last year The long term albatross debt was 8B , so that left 2.5B extra, that they’ve decided to return to shareholders thru the special one-time dividend (it will be $10 or more, they didn’t specify as yet , or give the dates) The ‘RemainCo’ 33% part of company has been renamed Vistance (VISN) and after the dividend paid out soon, will still have $923m in cash , $632m backlog, and great growth prospects and zero long term debt , so a super viable , good and profitable company going forward . So the big question is how much is it worth per share AFTER the Dividend, as surely there will be a sell-off the day after the ex-dividend (Worse case scenario , down $10?) I personally believe it’s worth $12-$15 EASILY after dividend, so once the selling after receiving dividend is done, it “should” climb back upwards and the rest of the year The huge after hour trading blocks and volume easily seem to re-iterate that the institutional money also believes this!! The insiders and management also holding huge amount of shares , and have added more thru compensation grants, the company itself also re-bought 1,124,678 shares itself between Dec 1 - Dec 31 @ $17.84

That’s complete horse shit. I work as a software engineering manager and after a push from our CTO I was able to cut the engineering team from 78 people to just 11. I run multiple Claude agents with my own RAC DB along with Claude skills and plugins. I also have co-pilot in my pipelines that auto reviews all my code. We are also using AMP to give us a mixture of experts to cover the gaps from the other 2 tools. We are working better with 11 people and our AI tools than we did from 80.

Nah, IBKR is legit. Margins still better than thinkorswim. AMP has been around for a while but I don't have enough trust to put a ton of money in it. Low fees is mainly why I use them, that and I can connect to Tradingview.

It is empirically proven to be the case that stocks with high valuations tend to underperform the market long term. I mean, we quite literally have the data. Amongst the Nifty Fifty was IBM, Texas Instruments, General Electric and AMP. What possible reason in 1973 would you have that these companies would underperform the overall stock market over the next 50 years? These were the leading tech companies of the time. IBM literally had a monopoly on computers and owned an absolute shit ton of patents along with GE. How could they have let that slip away? Mismanagement. Every individual stock has that risk. Of the MAG 7 stocks, it's guaranteed that some of them will stumble and be supplanted. Shit, it's not that long ago NVIDIA and Microsoft were considered bad buys and these stocks were called FAANG, and included Netflix. What possible reason is there for Tesla's market cap to be over 300 times it's earnings? Meta is already underperforming the market. I mean if the reason for the MAG 7 growth is because of AI, why is Apple even included when they are betting AI is going to be a bust? Google was considered DOA because of their lack of investment in AI, now they are a good buy because they are pouring a bunch of money in it to play catch-up? I'm as invested in the MAG 7 as the average person is, but to think they are likely to outperform is just not logical when their combined P/E ratio is 41 and the S&P 500 itself is 31 which has always indicated a recession.
