Or all hopes from my money is gone? These are the coins i hold XYO , AMP , MUSE , ACX , NCT , POND , ADA , LCX Do you have any recommendations?

4 year cycle. Name one cryptocurrency that is "up" from its 2021 price except for BTC. And BTC could plunge to nothing if someone sneezes in the wrong direction. 2021 ADA $1.79 2025 ADA $0.73 2021 SOL $198 2025 SOL $126 - 2021 CRO $0.55 2025 CRO $0.08 - 2021 AVAX $110 2025 AVAX $17 - 2021 AMP $0.17 2025 AMP $0.0041 I could go on, but it's too depressing. So glad I didn't HODL on any of these in 2021. Outside of the profits one could pull right now before the inevitable BTC crash, the only way to make money during this past "4 year cycle" is through pump-and-dumps, cozy rugpulls and downright luck in flash-trading. Any expertise or insight anyone peddles beyond these "strategies" is happy horseshit edited specifically for retail suckers looking for a foot in the door to nowhere they want to be with their hard earned money.

I hope all of this is worth the 2 years of hell before the midterms finally save us. Too bad none of this news pumps as much as it dumped when the lawsuits were originally announced. Like AMP and ALGO being deemed securities by association to these lawsuits.
Not cooked! Don‘t sell in red, buy to average down. Meme coins will disappear over the time. Buy coins/tokens with a reallife usecase like AMP, IOTX, XYO, REQ, ….. Thank me later ;-) This is not a FA!!

In no particular order, but maybe in this order, but not really... XRP, HBAR, ONDO, ADA, AMP, and XCN.
AMP. Not always the most popular choice here on Reddit but Flexa (the company building on AMP) is so far ahead of the curve regarding payments. Obviously not financial advice and I’m certainly not pushing anyone to grab some. Totally up to you.
No FA: AMP, See Flexa for Details.
How many more times should I say "you just agreed AMP isn't doing anything"?
You're the one that keeps saying AMP is nothing but a backup liquidity pool. These microcap crypto cults are always fascinating!
Appreciate the concern, but I prefer looking at where things are going, not just where they’ve been. Speaking of which—how much is AMP **up** since October 2023? I’ll let you do the math. Those of us with conviction know damn well why we're still here. The technology, their legal compliances, and HOW they build.
It’s not about AMP being "magical" - AMP enables. AMP’s role isn’t to replace money but to **decentralize risk and collateralize transactions trustlessly**, reducing Flexa’s need for a massive, centralized liquidity pool. Some people aren't always going to see why it's useful right away. You’re right that Flexa is still paying merchants, but AMP **ensures they can do so without holding all the risk themselves**. That’s the key distinction: it’s a decentralized, scalable alternative to a traditional pre-funded model, not just a "backup pool." case and point. I've not lost any money since investing in the spring of 2021.
Everything your saying aligns perfectly with what I say. You're just making incorrect conclusions about AMP being magical. I really hope you haven't lost too much money from AMP. Even it's founders aren't making these wild claims about it.
No, ser. Flexa isn’t just using AMP as a backup fund, it’s using it to **offload risk and decentralize transaction collateralization**. Without AMP, Flexa would need to rely entirely on its own liquidity, which limits scalability and makes it a centralized payment processor.... I've probably said this a few times now. AMP **allows anyone to stake and share that risk (including MYSELF)**, meaning Flexa doesn’t have to hold a massive cash reserve. This shifts the model from **"Flexa pays first, hopes later"** to **"transactions are trustlessly collateralized upfront,"** making instant settlement possible without requiring Flexa to bankroll everything themselves.
As you've admitted, Flexa is already fronting the funds themselves. They're just using AMP as a secondary pool of money in case theirs runs dry.
Without AMP, Flexa would have to front every transaction **at its own risk**, essentially acting as a traditional payment processor. AMP **removes that risk** by decentralizing collateral—anyone can stake AMP (I stake, so I also am here) to secure transactions, allowing Flexa to scale without needing its own massive liquidity pool. You can stake to, and earn kickback on supporting the network automatically through the contract. If Flexa only relied on crypto conversion, it would still have to **trust that every transaction will settle** which isn't always instant or guaranteed. AMP ensures merchants get paid **immediately and trustlessly**, even before the underlying crypto is finalized.
None of what you just described requires AMP collateral though... It's already self sufficient
Flexa maintains liquidity by converting crypto payments into USD using its network of exchanges and liquidity providers. When a customer pays with crypto, Flexa fronts the USD to the merchant, knowing the transaction is collateralized by staked AMP. If the crypto transaction settles successfully, Flexa recoups the funds. If it fails, AMP is liquidated to cover the loss, ensuring merchants always get paid instantly without Flexa needing a static cash reserve.
# How AMP Works (Example) You pay with Bitcoin (BTC) at a store using Flexa. * Flexa **instantly pays the merchant in USD**. * AMP is **locked as collateral** to guarantee the transaction. * Once the BTC transaction settles, AMP is released. If it fails, the AMP is liquidated to cover the loss. # Now, If It Were Just a USD Pool? * Flexa could hold a reserve of USD and pay merchants upfront. * But that makes Flexa a **centralized payment processor**, taking on all the risk. * There’s no decentralized participation, and Flexa becomes a single point of failure. # Why AMP is More Than a Pool * **Decentralized collateral.** Anyone can stake AMP to back transactions, instead of relying on Flexa’s cash reserves. * **Trustless payments.** The network doesn’t rely on Flexa’s liquidity—it’s secured by AMP staking. * **Scales independently.** Unlike a fixed USD pool, more AMP can be staked as demand grows. AMP doesn’t process transactions or pay merchants, but it **removes the need for a centralized middleman**, making instant crypto payments viable without Flexa holding a pile of cash.
The key difference is that AMP isn’t just a passive "pool of money"-------it’s a **programmable, decentralized collateral system** that enables **instant, trustless settlement**! Yes, Flexa is the entity paying merchants in fiat, but AMP is what **makes that possible without requiring a centrally controlled reserve**. The smart contracts automatically lock AMP to collateralize transactions, ensuring merchants get paid instantly even before the actual crypto transfer is finalized. AMP itself doesn’t directly pay merchants, validate transactions, or convert crypto, but it **removes the need for intermediaries to do those things manually**—which is exactly why it’s useful..... are you not sure what I'm talking about? What can I explain in better detail that anyone here reading would understand?
Right, AMP is providing the pool of "fodder" that Flexa can turn into USD when transactions fail. But AMP alone cannot complete the loop. AMP can't pay the merchant, it can't validate the transactions on other block chains, it can't manage the crypto assets Flexa collecta or disposes of. It can't sell itself for USD. It's just... A pool of money. A decentralized pool of money, sure. But just a pool.
The difference is that **AMP allows this to happen in a decentralized, trustless way, without needing a central pool of USD controlled by Flexa**. If they just used a USD pool, they’d be acting as a traditional payment processor, requiring full custody and trust which defeats the purpose of a decentralized system AMP isn't a "middleman"; it's a **decentralized smart contract mechanism** that ensures merchants get paid instantly while removing the need for Flexa to front the funds themselves. The collateral model means Flexa isn’t holding a giant pool of USD what they’re allowing is anyone to stake AMP to secure transactions, making the system **scalable, decentralized, and non-custodial**. (ding ding) Yes, a centralized entity **could** just pre-fund transactions with USD, but that’s not the point of AMP -it’s about decentralizing payment collateralization ; and allowing the merchant to be paid however they want. AMP, USD, EURO, ETH, SOL etc
Flexa is not paying merchants in AMP though. They're paying out in fiat, so yes, they absolutely could have a pool of USD doing the same job. They pay out USD at point of sale, and then if the crypto transaction fails, the USD pool eats the loss. In fact... That's even easier and cheaper. It's cutting out the AMP middleman.
Not quite. AMP isn't just a pool of money sitting there like an insurance fund—it’s **actively staked as collateral in smart contracts** to enable instant transaction settlement. The key difference is **it’s not just waiting to cover losses; it guarantees every transaction upfront**. If a payment is made using Flexa, the merchant gets paid immediately because AMP collateral backs the transaction. Once the actual crypto transfer settles on-chain, the AMP is then released. That’s what makes it **functional collateral**, not just a passive reserve..... I hope you understand what I'm dishing out here. Could Flexa have used ETH or USD? Sure, but AMP is **programmatically designed for decentralized, verifiable collateralization**, making it more efficient and scalable for this purpose - keeping it neutral in supporting dozens of crypto and FIAT CURRENCY on chain and direct to merchant is key.
You're just backing my point up, confirming it's a pool of money acting as insurance, it's not "actively" doing anything. That's what I've been saying... That pool of money could be anything - Eth, dollars, US bonds... Flexa just decided to use AMP token.
AMP doesn’t work like a regular payment token, so you won’t find a block explorer transaction showing it "powering" a purchase directly. Instead, AMP is staked in smart contracts as collateral, ensuring merchants get paid instantly while the actual crypto settles in the background. You can see AMP staking and unlocking on-chain here: 🔗 [AMP Contract on Etherscan](https://etherscan.io/token/0xff20817765cb7f73d4bde2e66e067e58d11095c2) 🔗 [Flexa Capacity Staking](https://app.flexa.network/) It’s a **collateral system.**
ChatGPT aside, can you link me an AMP transaction via a block explorer which "powered" a crypto transaction to be accepted as complete prior to the settling of the actual crypto being spent?
AMP Token serves as a digital collateral asset designed to secure and guarantee instant, verifiable transactions on the Flexa network. Here’s a breakdown of what that means and how it differs from simple "insurance funds": AMP is a decentralized collateral token that supports fast and secure payments. It is designed to reduce the risk of transaction failures and fraud by providing collateralization. * When someone makes a payment using the Flexa network (e.g., with cryptocurrency at a merchant), AMP token is staked as **collateral** to guarantee that the transaction will be finalized. * This allows merchants to receive payment **instantly**, even if the underlying crypto transaction takes longer to finalize on the blockchain. * Once the transaction is confirmed on-chain, the AMP collateral is released. * Unlike a simple insurance fund, which only covers losses after a failure, **AMP actively ensures that transactions are completed without delay**. * It is **programmatically staked** via smart contracts, meaning that it is automatically securing every transaction in real time. * The **collateral is not just a backup**—it **powers** the instant settlement of payments before the blockchain finalizes them. Imagine you're using a credit card at a store. Instead of waiting days for the actual money to be transferred, the merchant gets paid instantly because the credit network guarantees it. **AMP serves a similar role in crypto payments**—it ensures the payment happens instantly, even if the actual transfer isn't complete yet. * It **enables instant crypto transactions** for merchants. * It **reduces risk and fraud** by ensuring payments are always backed by collateral. * It’s **not just an insurance pool** but a functional **settlement mechanism** that allows payments to work at point-of-sale systems.

The founders seem to be the ones agreeing with me - AMP token isn't powering anything, it's just providing funds for insurances...
So some company is actually using Crypto for what it was meant to be used for ,' currency'..the whole vision of Nakamoto. Nice. Good job Flexa 😜 What is this "powered by AMP" I keep seeing, can someone explain? 🤷♂️
That's what I said up top - AMP value is acting as an insurance policy, but that's different and MUCH more limited than Tap to Pay "powered by AMP" or "running on AMP."
Apologies. I think I got my wires crossed. But my “I don’t know” still stands. I have no idea why the team isn’t more forthcoming with more info on AMP powering it.
I see some references to AMP used as a value pool for collateral, but not the actual AMP block chain running anything. Do you have a link to this X post for anything?
It is powered by AMP. The entire Flexa payments ecosystem is. It’s been documented multiple times.
Why do all the commenters keep echoing "powered by AMP when neither this article nor Flexa are saying that...?
In AMP we believe ❤️ The future is looking bright 🥳
That‘s really, really Great. And the best: it‘s powered by AMP!!
No FA: AMP (see Flexa Network for Details and you‘ll understand why)
This is really Great and powered by AMP!!
Tough call but I think ANVL. Flexa’s AMP Is now integrated into their vault for staking, and ANVL will enable digital Letters of Credit.
Really Great and Flexa is powered by AMP.
I’m all in on BTC, Algo, ADA, XLM, HBAR and AMP. I’m focusing more on BTC currently (I’m a hodler) But as stuff shifts I’ll be in and out of alts.
If you’re truly still in highschool, you have sooo much time. I know you didn’t ask, but I’m gonna give you some advice. Spend your teens and your 20s investing and growing yourself (school, trades, spiritually, physically). Fuck what other 20 something’s are doing. If you do that, by the time you hit your 30s, you’ll be set and watching a large sum of your peers scraping and clawing just to make it by day to day. Don’t worry about others and their approval. (That doesn’t mean be a dick and don’t care… just means you don’t need their approval… all 20 something’s are blind and stupid to an extent…) Buy Bitcoin. Look into some other blockchain projects. I like HBAR, ALGO, XLM and AMP. I suggest you read a couple books; The Bitcoin Standard, Broken Money, and The Creature from Jekyl Island. I wish you the best my dude.
Here are my range predictions regarding my future purchases -Bitcoin at €63,000 / €75,000 -Solana at 130€ / 150€ -Etherum at €2,260 / €2,500 -Tron at €0.15 / €0.20 -AMP at €0.003 / €0.004 Back to the PAST 🤭

AMP is never gonna happen tech vise. It was a solution to a problem that no longer exists. Simple as that.

I've been holding a bag of AMP for a while. Was pretty exciting when it was listed on one of the exchanges a few years back. Till then, nothing, nada, zilch, zero. And now it wants to take over big CCs? Man....
I keep waiting to see what DOT and AMP will do.

Happening right in front of you with $AMP and Flexa
I’ll be hold these for the next 5+ years; BTC, Algo, HBAR, ADA, ONDO, XLM, XRP and AMP. I’ll probably sell 75% of all of my holdings later this year, and DCA back in over the bear, but I’ll keep on hold’n on.
AMP token: No matter which currencies, token, coin you have into your wallet, with the Flexa SDK integration we process them all.. Go AMP
