Why has AERO gone up 40% over the past week? I can’t find anything to explain the rise
I have been on "buy BTC" for like the last 2 years and preaching BTC dominance. I am now buying alts even though I havent converted my btc into alts yet. And if it was today I would buy more AERO, LDO, PYTH and probably STX or SUI. I am buying those atm, and Ill be flipping my BTC over to alts in January or so unless I get a feel that things are going to shift sooner. But I would prefer to not buy several BTC in alts and create a huge realized gain in 2024. Its better for U.S. taxes to be able to flip over January 1st.

This I my first cycle and I got in some plays like ABT and AERO WHEN THEY WERE $2 and ¢60 respectively. I have money I need for my future and is 90% of everything I have into it. Do I sell in these dips? No. Is it because I’m an emotionally controlled educated investor? Somewhat yes, but it’s not why I weather the storm. You can thank your failing country the United States of America, for breaking me to the point that if I don’t make 100s of thousands then I’m just giving up at this point. I have nothing to lose.
AERO buy limit .705, Sell limit .775 that is seven cents on every dollar. put ten dollars on that and gain .70 but the principle remains, if it was ten grand that is 700 dollars over night. The point is you can see the scale of things, it depends on your initial investment, the goal is of course to never lose money. Even just 2 grand here would net you hundreds. Look at that coin, it is set for a huge jump, but it is better to be safe with your limits.
most days i keep an eye on the coinblass realtime liquidations...one thing i've noticed, i never see AERO on there...are people not able to trade options for AERO is is coinglass just not reporting them?
Wait so you really dont know much about any of these coins? They are a mix of meme and alt but mostly alt. The thought process/logic in my brain is that I have around a $400K portfolio. Even the 1% allocations are around $4,000-$5,000. If 5 of them went to 0 and one of them did a 50x I would still come out profitable. I wanted to diversify to reduce my risk while still being heavily weight towards the blue chips and best plays like KAS, ABT, and AERO. A lot of people tell me I have way too many coins but they still have thousands of dollars in each of them. The bottom 3-4 coins are the only ones that I have like no money in them. Some people have suggested having 5 coins total and to me that is just way to little diversification for a portfolio of my size and I also wanted to have some "moonshots" the lower % allocations are very low marketcap alt coins and have potential to do 30, 50, even 100x on some of them.

Maybe sooner *Aerodrome is the choice dex for Base *Brett will be Base's top Meme coin when it's all said and done 2) Support for my favorite AI projects. *PAAL AI: go explore their community and developing ecosystem and you'll see why *NEAR: NEAR has been at this for so long and finally we're seeing one of the most well oiled protocols available in the AI space. Performance wise, NEAR passes the smell test every which way you slice it and is trending to be one AIs biggest beneficiaries of AI narrative during altseason *LINK- the #1 oracle in space where Oracles will be huge for crypto. Not to mention the importance of connecting blockchains to real-world assets is something that I think will be critical for the performance of the many Crypto AI players *Altsignals: whether you believe in the use of AI protocols creating buy sell signals for traders or not, it's incredibly clear that this functionality will eventually become ubiquitous in crypto trading circles. I'm guessing you bought late. 18 months ago even BTC was under 20k. I've taken profits a few times in the last 4 months, I'm hoping things keep going up but I'm not taking any chances. I'm bullish on AERO though, I'm holding that long-term.

Trading is a competition. The shorter the timeframe we looking to buy and sell the make a profit, the more competitive it is. Quarterly and yearly holding times are safer for non-professionals. A safe approach is to split a $10,000 account across 9 crypto ($1,000) each, and $1,000 is cash or stablecoin. Wait for big volatility spikes to take some off to bring the balance back down to $1,000. Also, on dips (~10%) buy some more to bring the balance back to $1,000. So we should always have some cash. If we leverage our account, a normal 10% move (which is noise in crypto) will wipe us out. Only the broker and the broker's kids benefit from this. I have 10 alts:: 5 of these are: 1. FET 2 AKT 3. STX 4. DOGE 5. AERO Plus bitcoin ETF in a Tax-Advantage account 1. IBIT 2. BTCC.B
Folks can hate on SOL all they want and yes if they can get their heads out of their asses with the outages, they’d be crushing it waaay more. Anyway… Long Term: BTC 40% SOL 30% ETH 20% ALT 10% Short Term: BTC 40% SOL 25% ETH 15% ALT (AERI, AKT, GRT, RNDR, AIOZ) 20% I’m pretty conservative so I plan accumulating and hold BTC, SOL, ETH for the next 5-10 years til retirement. I’ll play around with alt coins but I’m not too attached any of them unless one goes on a 100-1000x run like AERO.
Ethereum ETF was approved today, so me thinks the money will flow into ETH and then into an L2 like Base. Even a small percentage in coins like $HIGHER $MFER $DEGEN and $AERO could really pay off.

Yeah I lost big that day. Luckily I kept researching more projects along the way, went big in RSR at 0.0017 and AERO at 80c but have been making 500% APR with AERO for 6 weeks now, so I've recovered all my losses plus more.
AKT and ONDO still heavily undervalued for market leaders. INJ, NEAR, TAO, JUP, KAS, AERO are all good for this cycle. They all have pumped a ton but they still have a lot of gas. I would stay away from the rest.

If it is more emitted AERO, it isn't a reward, it is just avoiding being diluted.

I am still new to crypto (I started in February). My main interest is in BTC, which is over 70% of my portfolio, next is SOL. I recently started investing in DEX's (JUP & AERO) since they seem like they'll be seeing a lot of action once things pick up. I am not proud of my two meme coins but wanted to dabble and see what the fuss was all about. My plan is to continue investing into JUP & AERO for short term growth but mostly just stacking sats for the long term. Any thoughts?

Just got to the “Liquidity” tab on aerodrom. Add to the sFRAX/USD+ or any of the pools Then stake the liquidity, it will automatically ask you to do that after adding to the pool. You can also stake from the dashboard screen. That’s it. Just claim the AERO. it pays out every block for every like 10 seconds you earn some AERO. Every Wednesday the votes for the the LP rewards update so the pools can fluctuate in APR weekly.
If you don’t wanna buy it outright just farm the stable coin pools. I put 10k into the sFRAX/USD+ pool and it pays 87% Apr in AERO You don’t even need to expose your 10k to crypto price volatility.
ahahahah not at all. I have about 37k invested so far, I was thinking of putting in 13k more. I wanted to hear everyone's opinion and then pull the favorites of everyone who comments and then do some research on that token (if I haven't already done so). Right now I have RNDR, AERO, GRP, ARKHAM, SHIB, ICP, WIF and GNO. But I'm looking for something new, something that hasn't been exploited yet.

Yes there is a way, but most projects know it would hurt their control and be a bigger risk. Now think of this approach. For Aerodrome, (AERO) what they did is mint 500M veAERO (4 year locked AERO) part to team and other investors from velodrome. Then they began the minting phase where they give AERO emissions to liquidity pool providers. So you can't just go buy the tokens and be a huge whale, you got earn then through providing liquidity. Yes there are some whales that havd a huge amount of liquidity that are earning a lot but there is a still a market for others to come in and buy them or YOU can earn them yourself. I am a liquidity provider and earning as much AERO as I can now because I think it will be worth more. Coinbase bought into them and has a huge stake of locked AERO.

Good picks. LINK, ADA, XRP, VET, MATIC; crypto that did well last bull run have a high marketcap purely based on bagholders. If you have heavy holdings in anything like that then you were exit liquidity. Personally I’m bullish on AERO and a few low market cap gems that have already had multiple X’s and should see further gains. But some people are either married to their bags (XRP) or lack fundamental understanding of marketcaps (SHIB).

Yeah that is all accurate. The Aerodrome Apr is 45% (it was over 100% when the pool first opened) I’m using beefy to auto compound many farms but this one is just on aerodrom earningAERO for me. There is a good deal of Coinbase money behind Aerodrome liquidity. The dev team is the same as Velodrome on OP If we get more red now then yes the APR will drop but the value of my LP will be unchanged. I’m still in the pool and have made some money on the LP as well as in AERO rewards but those yields are down to about 34% now. With crvUSD pools added to Aerodrome I might rotate into one of those new one and bump the ARP up while keeping exposure to just stables In a bear market yes APR is lower and yes I have to settle for 15-20% (which is still a lot if you keep perspective) It’s bull market time at the moment and I’m loving the APRs. It’s easy to make money when the printer is on
