How does clover (CLV) actually work?
Clover Finance [$CLV] promised 1 DOT = 1 NFT to all crowdloan contributors, now are fraudulently only giving NFTs to contributors who used official website. Lenders who used alternate platforms that were officially mentioned don't get NFTs. The NFTs are game pieces for a 40M CLV prize pool.

Am I the only one who considers a project to be less likely to make it in the long term if they are giving away tokens as part of a Learn & Earn program of some sort?
I'm experienced in stock investing but new to crypto as of today. Invested in CLV earlier today after a few months of research / DD and +6% in a day (I hope it continues, I know folks are divided on that particular coin)
Binance Crowdloan page has clear favorites. for e.g. Moonbeam over Acala, CLV over EFI.

Check out SXP, PIXEL, ACE & BEAM. A risk is CLV, but well... Let's take it
CLV. It’s 15x away from its ATH and it pumps fast.
CLV, IOTX, I know it’s not under a billion mc but BONK. Jasmy as well, I missed out on the jasmy run up. Solid project
CTSI is a bit of an older one, it came around in like 2018. I had hope when the Cartesi Hackathons started up that it would finally gain some momentum, but alas there's been nothing. CLV I yolo'd into last cycle because I pick bad coins.
Finally sold my bags of CLV and CTSI so I suspect they're going to rise from the dead and go parabolic now.
All my wallets are soiled with bad trades from 2021. A handful of meme coins sitting there at $0 but I've actually made decent progress this year. Luckily it would only be small amounts. The most annoying trades were the ICOs I bought into in 2021 which basically have dropped 90%. What a waste of time they were. Managed to average down and buy out of CLV this week and still holding TRL. One pump away from selling that 😭
To be honest, any coin that we mention would be too hyped to buy at this point. If i had to chose I would say FET. That said if you want a big gainer, the best way to do that is find a coin that recently pumped up to say a 50M market cap. Make sure it wasn’t a pump due to a listing or big news. More just increase in volume, whale activity or a related coin having big news. Buy it on retraction and you have a lot of runway. I saw TRB pump up to $29 based on the link news, I bought a ton at $20 since there was no listing and just whale accumulation, increase in network activity and volume. Within a month it was up to $145. Its retracted now but I sold along the way and have rebought in lower. I used this same principle for CLV back in the day and also FET so if you are patient and do not force it, it can really pay off.
All these DOT parachain auctions end in a week: Clover - CLV - Dec 18,2021 - Oct 24,2023 Parallel Finance - PARA - Dec 18,2021 - Oct 24,2023 Astar - ASTR - Dec 18,2021 - Oct 24,2023 Moonbeam - GLMR - Dec 18,2021 - Oct 24,2023 Acala - ACA - Dec 18,2021 - Oct 24,2023 I assume the price of DOT and these coins to drop that day even further. Let's hope it recovers, i am going to stake my freed up DOT and hold. Also gonna hold ACA & PARA since the amount i got is combined below $3 currently :).
" you'd be a fool to spend it today when you can get more for it tomorrow." \-- but like you said we live in a real world. Your needs/wants Force you to spend a certain amount; hobbies, travel, friends/family, food, housing, education, energy, transportation, health, entertainment... Surely you value some things more than the value of your money? BUT I Agree, In a deflationary environment: I wouldn't spend my money on Useless products. cheap goods, throwaways, mass produced materialism, consumerist, impulse-buys, designed with obsolescence and CLV in mind... Yes, we would think twice about how we spend the object that represents the accumulated value of our time and labor -- Decreasing the rate of inflation isn't exactly a Deflationary environment either. its Disinflationary. Bitcoin's volatility comes from the "small" (relative to the task) market cap $540 Billion is nothing when talking Global Value and Economies. But to exist as an option: Global stateless currency instead of a Nation-state /Central-bank currency it adds a Neutral 3rd party in the Game theory Power games of Global economics and nation-state politics. It at the very least is tool to manage wealth, or in hyper-bitcoin-topia-land A check on the financial exploits of Central banks and Governments...
Hmm. The weird part is, I was extremely confident. TRB, FET, SOL,CLV and Shib I was extremely confident they were about to 5-10x and yet all of them, hundreds. Oh well. Turned $100 into $400 with TRB. Next time maybe I’ll send it.
Ngl I had to look up what CLV is :D
CLV. Down thousands on it. May never recover, unlike others.
My rewards are CLV , basically worth nothing now , but I learned not to trust crazy APR :) I was a bit naive at the time.
Nihau Matu! Whey Licenzo wen Fundus are Safu? ![gif](giphy|WT88CLV49Bj2vtgu2O)
It wouldn't include CLV that's for sure.
First order out: Bought 301 CLV/USDT for 0.03649 Put a sell order for it on 0.04561
Bought 301 CLV/USDT for 0.03649 Put a sell order for it on 0.04561 Now let's wait.
Buying CLV at $1.26 (now it’s $.06) Buying Reddit Moons at $.03-$.08 🚀
Thanks for reminding me to collect my CLV rewards, cents of value were laying forgotten!!
i had some a while back and converted. reminds me of ACH, CLV...bunch of low cap high supply coins that all pumped a bunch when they got added to CB but haven't done much since.
Random, but does anyone have insight into why CLV has faired so horribly? I made a ton off them in 2021 selling as high as 2.70 but it’s down to 0.03. Apart from Luna it seems to be one of the worst hit this winter, just curious if there was a catalyst.
Investing in DOT at $52 (I think) and voting for CLV with it , the return has been disappointing to say the least
CLV, down like 95%. Idek why I bought it
Then add LIT, CLV, PHA and KSM to that list
CLV and LIT on DOT ecosystem. INJ and ATOM.
I hope you're right, I have a bunch of money stuck in a scamcoin called CLV, look what happened to that junk. If I ever get that money back, I'm never doing shitcoins again.
Precious metals investors did very well 10 - 15 years ago. Although I agree that focusing on BTC alone now shows a lack of foresight, no one can call BTC dead or unworthy of investment. Something will eventually decouple valuations in a way that favors peak marketability of cryptocurrency. I like the restructuring of CLV, because it shows that people with crypto products are recognizing the changing marketplace.
You mean the same CLV that once traded at £30 and is currently at 0.11?
CLV got shilled here a lot, should have gotten it.
PHALA needs to be erect, so they turned the LTOn and applied some CLV for stimulation
Why is PHALA, LTO and CLV pumping any clue?
The whales decided it's time for LTO, QNT, and CLV to be today's playthings
My boy CLV pumping like a boss.
All my CLV is staked. For the first time sonce i have bought its pumping.
CLV with a 18% dildo on the hourly, can be worse
CVP DUSK AKRO and CLV 10x up or 10x down is the only destination, inshallah
CLV is your ticket. Polkadot ecosystem.
Love rose! Look at NKN, CLV or PHA
Then why the fascination with a low price? I would pick CLV
Last year, I put about $5,500 into this little shitcoin called CLV. Today, it is worth $300. This, of course, does not even factor all of the other crap I bought. I've been buying BTC and ETH all the way down from 60k to 25k. Hold me
Same here, i am picking some of the CLV from time to time.
CLV is the one that can really makes the thing big here.
CLV is indeed a potential money maker.
CLV QNT DGB. High hopes for the next bullrun 🔥
Thankfully no Luna, although I did put about $5k into a little something called CLV.... and literally every other buy is red. Even my new ETH from just the other week is deep red now.
Average bear market lasts just under a year. I bought half my shit at near the ATH, and some of them are complete shitcoins (CLV) that may not come back at all. Even if we're lucky enough return to "just breaking even" numbers, you still lost money to inflation. Smh my head
Remember when AMP, CLV, and ONE ruined my life? I do.
Lots of good predictions. The only slightly more obscure one I’d say is CLV. I’m hoping that them having secured a DOT parachain might give them some protection from the brutality
I hold some CLV because I supported them in the Polkadot parachain auctions. I earn my monthly award and stake the coins.
With $500 I wouldn’t buy either of those. I’d buy something out of the top 100, maybe a polkadot para chain coin like Astar or CLV.
CLV. Won one of the first parachain auctions on Polkadot.
CLV is my ticket to financial independence ![gif](emote|emo_pack_1|wojakiss)
I'm experimenting with SHIB, DOGE (based on various 'expert' opinions), and CLV, YGG (based on my opinion). Let's see who's gonna win.
CLV people, CLV. Keep an eye out for it.
The CLV run continues ![gif](emote|emo_pack_1|gas)![gif](emote|emo_pack_1|to_the_moon)
CLV exploding. Nice ![gif](giphy|tXLpxypfSXvUc)
Nice to see that CLV is showing some green positive vibes. ![gif](emote|emo_pack_1|arrow_up)
![gif](emote|polkadot_emote|polkadot) Have you checked CLV?
Why did Clover Finance change their name to CLV? It's like if Avalanche decided to call themselves AVAX lol weird flex.
That’s def my worst token. CLV and AUCTION from Coinbase learn and earn are -70ish but that’s like $3. Loopring I’m down 60-70%. Down 67% on SOL My portfolio is a shit show. I got in about a year ago. Got hooked 4 months later put a bunch of money in and a week later market tanked. Regret it now. Wish I waited for bear market. I want Loopring to jump so I can sell it
CLV. Make sure to tell all of your friends. Maybe one day I can get rid of this trash bag.
How can I see my clover croudloan transactions on a block explorer like subscan? I'm trying to figure out what's happening behind the scenes with the polkadot.js vs apps-ivy site. In polkadot.js when I switch to the clover chain my account shows a 0 CLV balance. When I use the apps-ivy url I see my croudloan rewards balance and I staked my coins. they both use the same chrome extension but for some reason I get different results. To add to the confusion, when I imported the same account into the clover android app I see some clv but no where near as much as I can see in the apps-ivy url.
There's a regular in this sub with a flair saying "CLV killed my portfolio" You should probably get advice from them 😂
Clover Finance (CLV). It's a DOT parachain.
Anyone know what caused CLV to go up by 20% in one hour earlier? Some news break?
Why is CLV clover finance pumping?
Guys I just went to a chicken souvlaki place and they had a debit machine that was Clover Finance Crypto in the real world! Making me want to pick up some CLV tokens 🤣
have CLV as parachain auction rewards. planning to sit on it for few years and see what happens.
RLC, CLV, LTO, VITE. All good projects with a team of good and dedicated devs.
Great points. Thankyou I'll look into it further. Speaking on that, I've been looking at one of those other projects on DOT called Clover Finance. Great APR, but the mCap is only around 100-150 million. Which makes me a bit nervous since I'm looking for something that is perhaps less volatile. Have you heard of Clover? Ticker is CLV.
CDC DeFi wallet - CRO ETH - CDC app ( soon, want more DCA in few weeks before locking for 3 months ) SOL - Binance DOT - Binance para chain auctions CLV - Binance
Some of the DOT parachains are amazing projects ACA, GLMR, ASTAR, CLV, PARALLEL FINANCE etc
Bought 1 ETH at $1899 in the summer. Traded the whole thing for Clover Finance (CLV) at $1.80. CLV currently down 79%. ETH up 59%.
I like keeping mine to see where they go, which is probably dumb. 'I'm down 50% on CLV / IOTA.
Most of my potfolio is staked. ETH not yet. Not when it needs to be locked up for undefined amount of time. Also no define APY ( at least I haven seen it on Binance. ) which makes me unwilling to stake just yet. But things like SOL, DOT, CRO, CLV - hell yeah they are staked. No plans on selling, regardless of price, any time soon. So might as well get some sweet stake juice.
CLV promised 1 DOT = 1 NFT and that was a big selling point of their crowd loan. The NFTs can be combined and win a prize pool of 40,000,000 CLV. Clover finance mentioned several platforms to crowd loan from on their rules website which is here: https://lucky.clover.finance/rule They announced a few days ago that only contributors who used the Clover website would get the NFTs https://blog.clover.finance/announcing-distribution-of-clover-clv-crowdloan-reward-7cd6ae8079f9
No idea I stake SOL CRO CLV Aint much, but its honest work.
Yeah, well I *bought* 1 whole ETH at $1860. I trade it for CLV at 1.80. Who's the idiot now, huh?
i think CLV is actually a potential moon-shot project - as the governments of the world 'aim to regulate' crypto anything that keeps it away from government control could be valuable. the harder governments squeeze the more we need to stave off there blood sucking regulation
