CMC has been loading the wrong PARA TA chart for days now because it has exactly the same code as the Parallel Finance does. Who is the boss of crypto? I need a word.

I have ACA, ASTR and GLMR. IMHO - definitely keep ASTR. I think GLMR too. I am holding my ACA but have diminishing expectations for it. PARA seems to be offering Defi better in the Dotsama universe. Home that helps.

Yeah did both parachain auctions then brought some more on top. Only time will tell if locking up my dot for two years was worth it. Waiting on PARA to be listed now see how it go's 🤞

Yeah. They opened them up about three weeks ago I think. I had to create a Moonbeam extension in Metamask wallet to get the GLMR rewards. I have not received any PARA rewards. It still says “pending rewards”. I think they will be distributed incrementally over the next month or two. Did you stale before the auctions started, or during? If you did it during the auctions it’s likely your rewards aren’t ready just yet. I got into the “early bird” staking.

I just put in that new order to try and catch the bottom. Ex dividend is March 12 so over $500,000 that almost covers the interest. Just an incredibly oversold condition right now. One consolation is that if there are serious suitors out there like Apple, this is the time to strike while Sherri Redstone is feeling a bit desperate. PARA-VIAC has been doing everything right lately, and this is the thanks they get. The market sometimes is very cruel and unmericful. Meanwhile they allow TSLA to have a 100 PE and ne wildly overvalued even though TSLA has just as much competition as VIAC. Oh well.

I did ACA, EFI, PARA, and LAYR. I am putting my largest % in Polkadex (crowdloan will open for it on the 17th). PDEX is a DEX unlike any of the other DEXes I've seen. It has a orderbook instead of a AMM, and will function like a CEX (can put limit orders. etc.), it has a fiat on ramp, mobile app in Q1, 500K TPS, interoperable, IDO platform (currently in testnet) and the current staking rewards are about 60-70%. It a low-cap coin at the moment, so pretty risky. DYOR, but have high hopes for this one. If they accomplish what they ae trying to do, I don't see how it won't succeed.

Personally, I found Paragraph 6 of their T&C VERY Interesting and not at all comforting, particularly the last portion. I also noticed that they are running through the British Virgin Islands, which (correct me if I’m wrong) is historically full of Banking & Financial Institutions used to tightly protected the Acct Owner’s ID’s and investments from exposure & potential gov’t seizures if they are doing something shady (not saying these guys are)..*shrugs* Maybe paragraph 6 is standard terminology for such an offering, I wouldn’t know, but leaves me w/too much doubt, along w/U.S. exclusion Yes, there are strict SEC Rules, and that suks, but it also serves to protect investors to a small extent from rug pulls & the like..just sayin’, not great & yes drives some away, yet also causes me a bit of trepidation if they chose not to comply..*shrugs* makes me go..Humm..”why not?”, and I in no way claim to be a well educated or large investor, just sharing my own thoughts & opinion here, so kind don’t persecute me too much.. Well not financial advice but, if you commit your DOT through Parallel Finance you will get the rewards from the Parachain and Parallel Finance. So for example you commit 1 DOT it gives you 4 PARA + XCOIN (the reward). So with your 1 DOT you now have 3 different cryptos. Yes it’s a 2 year commitment and yes it has risk but if your plan is more long term you could potentially see more money. Again NFA just my opinion, and I’ve also committed DOT this way.

Pretty simple really. Just set up your polkadot wallet, transfer some DOT in, and then choose which project you want to loan your DOT too. You can do it through the decentralized way through polkadot.js or centralized way through Kraken, Binance, etc. depending on your location. I did it through Parallel Finance since you also will get PARA token in addition to the project tokens.

I love how we can contribute through Parallel Finance and get more PARA. I threw some in Centrafuge (spelling) and I’m getting that coin plus +4 PARA per DOT I contribute.

My own thought process was I plan to hold DOT for the long run, so I lease my DOT in the meantime and get the Parachain native token. Also now that Parallel Finance won a slot you can commit DOT through them and get PARA and that new Parachain token. Cool cool stuff! Maybe it’s successful maybe I just lost all my money, who knows!
