I grabbed myself some [Marinade](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/marinade) - #1 TVL in SOL - But still in the 300 ranks. Provides [MSOL](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/marinade-staked-sol#markets) for SOL Defi. Never had it before but seems like a no brainer. With SOL starting to explode in DEFI, investing in its biggest ecosystem while it's undervalued seems like a good idea.
I am not sure how much to trust Coinbase's views. It seems to be saying one thing and doing another. We go all in to buy MNDE and MSOL, only to have them dumped on us. I am not so keen.

Solana validators have been multiplying. It could be a concern at the beginning. It isn’t anymore. The cost of voting is compensated with the staking rewards. This is why Marinated Solana (MSOL) played a significant role, with more than a billion staked solana distributed among smaller validators with good efficiency ratios. It isn’t the only staking token in Solana but it’s the most popular. Solana foundation controls a minority and their share is getting reduced over time. The funny thing is that Bitcoin in 2010 was mostly controlled by a small number of miners that accumulated most of the mining rewards. I mostly use covered call volts on Solana like Katana anf Frickton but they both use Phyoptions in the backend which is all on chain. I've got SOL staked on the Marinade platform built on Solana. You get MSOL in return as a placeholder token (marinated solana) which you can also stake again. Compounding 2 lots of staked interest over time. Its not aa high yield as lending it out for margin calls, but its stable and working for me.
It’s actually a cefi platform Celsius. Although I do have a few defi loans out on Solana with PORT finance but those are for MSOL and not as good of APY.
