Projects working with AI could grow this year. My picks are TRAC (Origin Trail) and Ocean Protocol. Also the upcoming trend of RWA (Real World assets) projects is something to keep in mind. For me projects like Dusk Network (DUSK) and Plume are very interesting. Also some layer 2 projects like Optimism, Starknet and Zksync as well as Stacks (STX) can be a good pick..
$DUSK: first layer 1 with built in privacy. Any wallet, transaction or smart contract will be confidential. Some of the best ZK cryptographers in the world are (and have been) involved. They published a bunch of scientific papers and new open sourced ZK methods and libraries in the process. Fully compliant to EU regulations such as MiCa, MiFid II and GDPR. Asian regulation broadly follow EU, so there is room for expansion. 😎 Dusk Foundation has a 10% stake in NPEX, a dutch broker who has an MTF license to issue securities. This will likely be the first party to start issuing securities on Dusk. They are involved in the EU DLT pilot regime, basically a EU pilot program to allow for proper regulation and legalization of DLT technologies. It doesn’t get more RWA than compliant securities on chain. 😎 Multi-Trillion market and full compliance is a nulti-year endeavour. The usual suspects and a big bag of DUSK as conviction play. Zero knowledge L1 with privacy smart contracts. In the works for 5 years by some of the best and brightest in ZK cryptography, RWA is a minor feature and privacy has been central to the projects from the start. Mainnet in Q1 of next year.
OriginTrail (TRAC) is the only one I truly believe in, because they've been building non-stop since before I started following them (5 years+). They've got the contacts for real world usage (BSI, GS1, WalMart, Swiss Railways, EU funding, UK govt via TrustedBytes, and more) and are ramping up usage and expanding adoption via new solutions all the time. Pharmaceuticals, Supply Chain, Railways, Import / Export, Certificates. Looks like they've got funding for a new EU aircraft-related project as well. They're actually doing what other crypto projects are fantasising about. Getting traction in the real world. Making a difference to the bottom lines and working processes of actual companies. And the network looks only like it's going to grow. I hold a few other things (LTO, NOIA, DOT, DUSK) - all projects that are building long-term real-world solutions. But at the moment, OriginTrail is the one that looks the most promising. All with an MC of about $200m. This thing is going big. Maybe not next week, but slowly, and then all of a sudden.

IMX is a noteworthy project by ZTtech, but I believe other projects such as MINA, LRC, and DUSK also deserve recognition in this space. I strongly believe that projects related to RWA have tremendous potential. One promising project to watch out for is RIO, EKTA, and MNICorp.
LTO Network, they have a solid structure in their project. The only thing that is a bit of a negative to me is their marketing but aside from that, tech is really promising. - GoLandRegistry for the UN (needs to improve) - NFT 2.0 ( hoping for as much hype as in 2021) - Proofi (most convincing tech for me as it has usecases for both fiat and their mainnet token) - Universal (Mobile) Wallet. - Well structured Tokenomics I’m not gonna say positive things only like a shilling ALGO freak. LTO could be a huge hidden gem but there are things they need to work on more. The other crypto i recommend is ofcourse BTC, ETH, XMR, LINK/ATOM and a another gamble by the name of DUSK Network.

Used GET (well the ticketing company did) for two shows I went to last year. Used AVA to book 10 vacations last year. I also like LTO and DUSK but those are both more for clients to use and I just think the usecase for them are good.

Now, I own mostly btc and eth, but I hold a decent bag of a few tiny alts that I think have a ton of upside. GET is 80c right now, and I’d bet by end of 2026 it’ll have touched $30. LTO is 7c right now and I’d bet by end of 2026 it’ll have touched $5. DUSK is 8c right now and I’d bet by end of 2026 it’ll have touched $8. Those are my holdings and predictions. My pleasure. I am incredibly enthusiastic about all these tech solutions and really saddened that most people don't know or don't care about them. All I can do is spread the awareness :) On the side note, DERO is literally everything I thought crypto was supposed to be back when I got into it couple years ago. Little fun fact is in 2019 there was an XMR exploit that was fixed by looking at DERO's then cryptonote tech which was the same as XMR's. DERO migrated to their custom Homomorphic encryption with 0 blockchain downtime. Impressive stuff for such a small team. I wonder if any of their DeFi Platforms would allow Monero to be utilized as collateral for DeFi Loans. I have been keeping an eye on this, SCRT, and DUSK because of this.

Damn r/DuskNetwork is a ghost town… is DUSK at all a good hold anymore? I remember it being shilled heavily here a while back, and am considering cutting my losses.
Well it seems the success of a coin mostly depends on a hype and it tells us how much we early in crypto world. I mean I still think that in like 10 years top coins will be the ones with most utility and those who are accepted by large business companies. LTO, TRAC, DUSK and my biggest bag - TRL. That last one is not known much since it was created like 10 months ago but is doing something unique in medical field and has market cap of 400k and was at ATL around 7 days ago. The current supply is at its max and there won't be any more coins put into the system, on the contrary as medical institutions use it it will be burned. Find their site and read the white paper. They are partners with LTO and have done like 6 successful clinical trials until now.
There is a lot of crap being shilled all the time, I'll give you that. That being said, in the midst of all of it there are some great projects aimed at solving issues that fit blockchain very well. At the risk of shilling my own bags, I'll point out a few. GET - uses blockchain to **attempt** to solve issues within event ticketing. Tries to limit scalping and allow artists and event managers to streamline operations while connecting with audiences in ways not previously available. To me, best actual use of NFT's I've seeen. LTO - building an L1 from scratch designed by a company to fit their existing customers needs. Focusing on decentralized identities, GDPR compliance, handling of business sensitive data. Expanding beyond B2B with some new concepts such as ownables that aim to extend the use of NFTs. DUSK - aiming to use blockchain tech to tokenize securities. Making use of zk rollups among other newer innovations and working with regulators since the beginning. My newest interest so I don't know too too much about them. AVA - blockchain travel company. Probably the most real world use of any of these at this stage, with about $7.5m revenue monthly. They don't make use of blockchain tech to its fullest extent yet, but they do have a team full of former [booking.com](https://booking.com), expedia and other travel company execs who clearly know what they're doing. ​ I'm sure there's way more, but this is just to show you that yes there's a lot of crap among the crypto sphere, but there are also some projects just waiting to shine if you're willing to do the research and not listen to the endless echo chamber that is r/cc.
If BTC hits 10k I'm going all in on solid alts. Not risking entire net worth for a potential 6x back to ATH. WOO and DUSK buy orders will go through the roof.

There's a good number of privacy coins that haven't really been battle tested. Secret and ZCash have issues but they're still largely functional and have proven some level of privacy. OASIS, HUSH, DUSK, ARRR, ZEN, BEAM, etc. are all interesting but I don't have a good enough grasp on the tech or math to fully understand the best pick among them and so I see them all as having potential, but where I withhold judgement. Doesn't help their case that privacy dapps and wrapped assets can eat their early growth.

I was talking to a whale and the next big pump will likely be DUSK. Rumoured to rival LUNA by mid-2024. Their early price movements are quite similar before LUNAs pump.

Nah, there are other GDPR compliant chains now (DUSK, TRAC, presumably others). Plus you can just run a private L2 for all the same benefits and functionality that LTO offers while benefiting from Ethereums security and interoperability. LTO had a shot but it missed its moment imo

My bag has some Layer 2s,PriFi, and a little of GameFi. I saw a gaming project that the team actually look solid, so I decided to grab a small bag. still DCAing in atm the moment. Dusk Network $DUSK The first permissionless network blockchain protocol that solves Zero-Knowledge Smart Contracts. This is achieved by inhouse built technologies like Reinforced Concrete, PLONKup & RUSK. The first versions of this state of the art techstack is widely used by other protocols. PLONKup is an iteration of the much appraised PLONK library also co-created by DUSK. PLONKup is 2.5x faster in proving time than PLONK and is a prerequisite for privacy rollups. Reinforced Concrete is the 17x faster (and likely more secure) hashing protocol version of Poseidon, both made by DUSK. For instance Poseidon is used by MINA which they forked from DUSK. The unique aspect of Dusk comes from the design of the VM which is called Rusk. It makes it possible for ZK operations to be executed very fast (outside of the smart contract bytecode). Rusk enables you to program smart contracts, power new decentralised applications (dapps) and set parameters for compliance and control. The Rusk VM relies entirely on zero-knowledge cryptography and is the world’s first Zero-Knowledge Virtual Machine (ZK-VM) implementation! Yes, even gas fee refunds, block rewards and other related transactions are obfuscated. In other words, Dusk is a layer 1 Blockchain that has ZKPs as a primitive of their network. These built in ZKPs can be used in a very flexible way. You can build smart contracts on Dusk with native ZKP support (both proving and verification), making it much cheaper and faster to do these types of calculations on a Blockchain. Basic functionality within the Dusk Network, such as transferring DUSK on chain with privacy, is implemented in a smart contract itself.. What can we do with this awesome tech? To name a few: central security depositories, private equity brokers, notarial registry services, custodial solutions for securities, real estate investment trusts, crowdfunding platforms, corporate action and cap table management services, darkpools, security exchanges, etc. Those without even scratching the surface of NEW stuff you can do (e.g. arbitrage platform for securities, royalty paying NFTs, etc) No other chains can do confidential smart contracts. No other chains can tokenize securities on chain simply because they lack privacy and do not implement operations that are necessary to conform to the security laws. There are many many other functionalities absent from other chains that we instead included in our security token standard. The reason for tokenizing securities is because you want: 1) the securities to be programmable (so to automate all costs related to compliance and governing of assets, implement dividend distribution as airdrops, remove barriers to companies of any size to access the financial system which is only available to companies IPOing, etc) 2) to have self-custody of your securities (instead of paying annual fees to security exchanges only to hold your stuff) and self-sovereignty of the assets you own 3) the securities to be fluid (thus enabling multi-listing as well as unlocking arbitrage opportunities among assets the same way they exist on forex and crypto) 4) the security transactions to be disintermediated (private equity brokers get outrageous fees and 2-5% on private equity deals) 5) the security transactions to be fair and efficient (increasing the fluidity of assets accelerates price discovery mechanism and reduces spread even outside of the secondary market) Youll see soon enough..

SCRT is actually a compromise between secrecy and transparency. People can track that you've taken a certain amount of crypto and entered the SCRT network with it. Once you're in the SCRT network, your actions are hidden. However, association to your account will once again be linked back to you when you leave the SCRT network with your assets. Hence the compromise. We can see when you enter and what you enter with, and we can see you when you leave, and what you leave with. I don't know anything about DUSK, unfortunately. I believe with XMR it's possible to see most people who has gotten their hands on XMR, but it's not possible to see what they do with it or who they send it to, thus breaking linkability and preserving privacy. Although the fact that we can see people getting into SCRT and XMR means regulators would immediately put you high up on the list to investigate. Hell, I would if I was a government body or investigating people for the hell of it. I can be completely wrong as well though, and welcome any clarification.
Can you guys tell me more about XMR? like can it do other things other than transfer of value? Because there are privacy L1s like SCRT and DUSK and I don't understand the difference in their privacy features.

It’s a privacy smart contact chain built on Cosmos. It’s got some warts here in the sub, a couple times I’ve seen mentioned the devs previous project burned people (that’s not the worst wart for sure, dyor). Big competitor right now seems to be DUSK. Honestly in hold neither, I’d love to hold both. I’m a big Cosmos fan.

What I meant was I also tried to time the market before and it made me emotional and irrational. E.g. Waiting for ETH to go sub 2k before buying, being greedy and not taking profits on DUSK. I just kinda gave up on optimizing every parameter. If you think BTC will hit 100k or ETH at 5-6k then buying at 36k\~ or 2500\~ doesn't matter that much. As our lord and saviour Benjamin Cowen always says "What's a few hundreds between friends?"
