XMR being the obvious best choice for purchasing privacy software. I usually use BCH or LTC for this because Bitcoin is obviously too expensive to use on a $100 order. These are just a few of the places where I spend my crypto. If you guys believe in competing against fiat as p2p digital currency, then the best thing you can do to help us succeed is to USE your crypto, not just HODL it. It's is not hard at all to use a UTXO coin like LTC, BCH, XMR, ARRR, ect, to make purchases. Go buy something with your crypto! Otherwise, we just created new things to speculate on. The financial establishment isn't afraid of speculative assets. They are afraid of sound money.

Simple, why are ARRR, Zano, Firo, DERO, and a dozen other privacy projects also unpopular? Either your coin is embraced by all CEXes or it is not. If it is, it's probably not a good privacy coin if that CEX reject XMR on privacy grounds. If it's not accepted on CEXes, it will be hard to purchase and would have to be 100x better than XMR in most ways in order to be able to compete with it, since XMR has a battle proven community and technology behind it that won't likely leave. And if your technology really is 100x better, it will likely be absorbed into XMR once your technology proves itself. In other words, the other coins take the risk and XMR will get the reward before you can break even on your investment.

Have you tried AtomicDEX (https://atomicdex.io)? They have both a web, mobile and desktop version. Basically it uses atomic swap technology to exchange between blockchains. It currently doesn't support XMR (but I think it might be on their roadmap, don't quote me on that) but it does support ARRR (PirateChain).

It is a privacy coin on the Equihash algo. I actually used Nano as a stablecoin when it was near 1$, it is great for moving between exchanges, but I personally don't see it getting much hype/price activity anymore.. I'll check out ARRR though.

How they want to apply that on real anonymous crypto like monero ( XMR) or pirate coin ( ARRR). It's just blabla, making a law to make citizen think they are doing something about money laundering, but BIG MONEY LAUNDERING don't use these routes, Banks are here to make the job
I personally prefer Pirate Chain ARRR. It has a few benefits over monero one being “double stamped” with Bitcoin.
1. I can't comment on ARRR as the project is still in its early stages and I haven't learned much about them. Same for Heaven. Zcash doesn't have privacy-by-default which leads to the subset of txs that do enabled shielding to stand out, that totally breaks the fungibility. Firo seems like they're fighting the good fight, though, and many Monero Research Lab initiatives focus on seeing what works well in Firo and whether it can be added to Monero. 2. That's unfortunate! I think the main reason is that Monero doesn't have that much traction globally and our Bitcoin side isn't as popular as the now-defunct LocalBitcoins or the dominant Paxful. That might change with time!

I sold 35,000 ARRR in January 2021 at $0.23. In April it hit ATH of $16.76. At least I saved 10,000 and sold a little over half at $14…

P2P digital cash. I'm here to buy, sell, and be paid in crypto instead of fiat. Although most people, and projects don't seem to he concerned about that any longer, some of us still are. BTC, XMR, ARRR, and BCH are some good examples.

My pleasure. I am incredibly enthusiastic about all these tech solutions and really saddened that most people don't know or don't care about them. All I can do is spread the awareness :) On the side note, DERO is literally everything I thought crypto was supposed to be back when I got into it couple years ago. Little fun fact is in 2019 there was an XMR exploit that was fixed by looking at DERO's then cryptonote tech which was the same as XMR's. DERO migrated to their custom Homomorphic encryption with 0 blockchain downtime. Impressive stuff for such a small team. Exactly, unfortunately for most the incentive of quick profit outweighs the importance of sound & private money. I'm interested in XMR and ARRR for this very reason
I am talking about XMR, DERO, WOWNERO, ARRR whales and so called privacy advocates who I know that publicly shit on BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA etc. and then go and secretly BUY, TRADE, SELL and INVEST in some of those very things. These are people with large followings, you likely know of some of them. This is A-Grade bullshit, if you agree with that and accept it, that's on you. These fuckers know who they are. They scream privacy, tell everyone Bitcoin is a shit coin and then they go and buy Bitcoin, trade it make a a fuck ton of money, sell it, rinse and repeat.
Basically all the privacy coins have been gaining on BTC. So XMR, but also DERO, CCX, ARRR, some days even GRIN is showing some resilience.

ARRR you sure about that?
Around 12k $ARRR i bought at 15 cents per coin in dec 2018. Can not find my seed. Todays value is only a bit over $13k but in May last year $ARRR hit $15. Painful. And scammers, i am not checking DM's.
Nothing. If I believe in the project, then i don't give a crap about fluctuation. I'm not a gambler. I buy real stuff. BTC for long term wealth ARRR for peer to peer transactions.
There's a good number of privacy coins that haven't really been battle tested. Secret and ZCash have issues but they're still largely functional and have proven some level of privacy. OASIS, HUSH, DUSK, ARRR, ZEN, BEAM, etc. are all interesting but I don't have a good enough grasp on the tech or math to fully understand the best pick among them and so I see them all as having potential, but where I withhold judgement. Doesn't help their case that privacy dapps and wrapped assets can eat their early growth.

What do you think about ARRR? I’ve read about DERO. Unique project. Private Smart Contracts built off of DAG. It can also be used as a currency like Monero.

Monero is the most know and established privacy coin, most of the other privacy project are cryptonote forks, same tech, different application. Pirate Chain is the other Privacy Coin with different tech, Zk-snarks, that Zcash originated. The difference being Pirate Chain is shield transactions by default. Like most crypto project their are maxi and tribalism runs rampant. If your goal is Privacy and anonymous P2P transaction your gonna have to navigate through all the FUD and DYOR to find out what you believe to be the best. I will warn you, its alot to take in. There are a lot of real and good answers, but I didn't see one thing come up- If you were able to accidentally find the wallet, then there's a chance somebody else could also and that key is permanently compromised. So immediately move the funds to a brand new wallet address. Then send a tiny tx back with a memo message to the address saying they've been compromised. Then (using a VPN and new username) post to reddit and bitcointalk with a message with the address about the found compromised private key (obviously not sharing the privkey, only the public address). If a person really owns that address, then they can sign a message with a small tx to verify ownership. After 90 days, at least, I'd say the funds are yours. Now wrap it, swap for WARR, unwrap the WARR and send to another ARRR address.
I mined and acquired ARRR starting in Feb 2019- it was about $0.03, and I was mining over a hundred a day. Sold some at $0.10, but bought it back during a dip. Thought I was awesome... accumulated 65,000 ARRR and sold the miners for what I paid in Jan 2020. In December 2020 ARRR had been up to $0.25 but price was dropping and my hands got weak and I wanted Christmas money. I sold 24,000 at 16 cents. Still thought I was awesome. Feb 2021 it was still going down, so I sold another 27,000 at 15 cents, keeping a few thousand ARRR "just in case." Sometime in April or May it peaked at $16. I still cringe when I think about missing out on life-changing money by having weak hands and selling six weeks too early, the last sale alone would have been close to half a mil 🤦♂️

No that’s Pirate Chain, or ARRR (Not kidding, that’s actually its ticker symbol).
CipherTrace and Chainalysis can likely trace many transactions on Monero. ARRR is likely the best choice for privacy and security against 51% attacks. Also, it’s been around for long enough to have proven itself.
Well it looks like Pirate (ARRR) has all these characteristics. HOWEVER, that is such an INSANELY SHITTY NAME for a currency! "Pirate" does not spell "respectable" very well. Now for the most privacy-minded, cryptocurrency-informed individuals this might not be a big issue, but for adoption it is downright abysmal. With a name like this, I cannot imagine it would ever be anything else than a fringe coin, even though it has all the features of the best monetary system ever.
XMR and ARRR will set us free, but ya keep playing with fire... 🥴🤷♂️
There is one more. and that is ZK proofs. Yes till ow non of them really took of, and Z-cash and its clones like ARRR will not threaten Monero ever. But we will get to a point where Smartcontract platforms like ethereum have ZK inplementations that just naturaly work in the ecosystem. THe hrudle to go over monero will be to big for next to no benefit. ZK solutions can deliver at least the same leel of anonymity as monero can

This happened with ARRR but it was all the exchanges randomly having wallet maintenance all at the same time when it went ballistic.
Which is why cryptos like XMR, XHV & ARRR are important. Privacy is a right we should NEVER concede.

I got into crypto after sitting with a friend who was about 6 months into his journey. He bought ARRR at $0.11 and sold at $12.86. He made a lot of money, and that is what opened my eyes to the potential of shit coins and I guess crypto as a whole.

People really need to wake up to the fact that Bitcoin is terrible for transaction. Bitcoin is a transparent ledger, all TX are visible. If you bought BTC through KYC/AML then your addresses are visible to anyone, including any governments who have the ability to tax you on any transactions according to their jurisdictional laws. Dont get me wrong BTC is a good store of value, but a terrible medium of exchange. Privacy coins ARRR far superior as a medium of exchange.
